i love the line “Whats hidden beneath the floorboards and sea? Is secrecy now unfolding?” mainly because it connects to/references that 27341(?) code hidden on the normal/depth textures of the floorboards, and the semi-connected game of Beneath the Surface (which connects to the Hex arg too!!!) :D
The sea is also connected the arg in which Barry Reginald Wilkinson was stowing away on a boat with the copy of inscyption (the trader in act 3 mentions that he was shot and killed after being discovered)

I love the Ouroboros/jörmungandr reference at the end. Saying that this game would repeat over and over until it was torn to bone. Saying that the player would try and take everything they could, to check everything, digging deep for file to file to find *anything* interesting in this game. I think the four lords in the inscription game are simbols of the four pillars of game design, history for the forest guy, rules for the robot, Art for the painter/mage and lore for the bones lady.
Leshy, P03, Magnificus and Grimora, but yeah, it really does fit a lot with each, even their inscription methods fit. I actually got the switch for Leshy and Grimora. Leshy's game is big on story, but he doesn't really explain how cards came to be, the bosses' backstories, or even the reason you came to play cards with a creepy old man until the very end. He is lore, story. Grimora meanwhile, while not having much of a game to herself, is all about the histories of her Ghouls. You must determine history by properly telling what killed her Ghouls, checking around her crypt for clues, like a historian. And writing epitaphs, is like writing the history of the now deceased.
i like how lyrics made leshy talking a lot and referencing what happend in game while p03 talks a little and straight forward also how little sounds in music changes, like ij po3 part its more "electronic"
Ooh Inscryption is such a cool game, and has so many layers! I’m super glad you did a song on it! There were so many little references to mechanics of the game in this song, but the reference to the scales and Ouroboros were definitely my favorite. This song has been constantly gnawing at me since i first heard it, ive listened to it nearly a dozen times today. -i really like the chanting/repetitive nature of the vocal & instrumental, it captures the endless cycle of inscryption's corruption (also it reminds me of act 1's music, specifically the trapper/trader boss fight with the low humming) - "I've dug up your bones, I'll trade them for teeth" I don't know why but this line is MMMMMMMMMM tasty - yoo and P03's section having the echo in the higher octave like the whirring of electrical equipment 👀👀👀👀 Anyway yeah I've been rotating this song in my brain for like a week. Excellent work! :D
I interpret that “one against four” isn’t referring to the player against the scribes, it’s referring to Grimora against everyone else, as she tries to essentially kill all of them.
Nah they weren't actually against getting erased if it meant the old data could potentially go down with them ( they died in vain ) but the floppy disk did get destroyed by Luke but it got uploaded to steam anyway.

Inscryption is one of my favourite horror games and one of my favourite deckbuilding games too so I was really excited when I saw this song in my notifications. First, I absolutely love this song, second "No Beartraps" I get what the mean, but in the boss fight against the Trapper when you kill the robo frog things they turn into bear traps.
also noticed, "Bare Bones" because the world is reduced to the bare-bones containment of the old data, and cards drop bones when killed, like ouroboros, is killed as it mentioned that "the snake itself eats until it's reduced to bare bones".hahaha-ha...ha

This song is so utterly hypnotic, almost like how the people who look too far into the Karnoffel Code seem to become almost entranced and unable to stop themselves from reaching the point of no return before they realize what they've done.
Amazing song! Very cool with the "the snake itself eats until it's reduced to bare bones", just like how when Inscryption was finally deleted it was stripped of everything but the OLD_DATA which cannot be removed, literally the hallowed bones of the game. (But seriously one could gush for paragraphs about all the references you managed to fit into this, that floorboards and sea line was gold)

And an off-topic question, why don't you publish many instrumental versions of your songs? Don't get me wrong, I like your voice and singing, but in general I like listening more to music without words, so the option to listen only to the melody would be nice
lol this song has been in the works for months at this point... but the sudden inspiration did come from me playing Kaycees mod and the new game announcement! as for the instrumentals... it's just a bit of extra work for not much attention on the videos, so I skip it sometimes. Now that i’ve played the game a bit, i can make comments that make sense. As soon as i saw the ouroboros or whatever it was called, i pointed and yelled “The snake itself FUCKING EATS!!! First, I absolutely love this song, second "No Beartraps" I get what the mean, but in the boss fight against the Trapper when you kill the robo frog things they turn into bear traps.

also noticed, "Bare Bones" because the world is reduced to the bare-bones containment of the old data, and cards drop bones when killed, like ouroboros, is killed as it mentioned that "the snake itself eats until it's reduced to bare bones".hahaha-ha...ha

This song is so utterly hypnotic, almost like how the people who look too far into the Karnoffel Code seem to become almost entranced and unable to stop themselves from reaching the point of no return before they realize what they've done.
Amazing song! Very cool with the "the snake itself eats until it's reduced to bare bones", just like how when Inscryption was finally deleted it was stripped of everything but the OLD_DATA which cannot be removed, literally the hallowed bones of the game.
(But seriously one could gush for paragraphs about all the references you managed to fit into this, that floorboards and sea line was gold)

Inscryption is a great game and this is a great song! (Even though The Hex is my favorite Daniel Mullins game, I like it more than Inscryption even though it's shorter.) Tell me, did the fact that Pony Island 2 was announced inspire you to make this song or was it a coincidence?
And an off-topic question, why don't you publish many instrumental versions of your songs? Don't get me wrong, I like your voice and singing, but in general I like listening more to music without words, so the option to listen only to the melody would be nice
lol this song has been in the works for months at this point... but the sudden inspiration did come from me playing Kaycees mod and the new game announcement! as for the instrumentals... it's just a bit of extra work for not much attention on the videos, so I skip it sometimes. I do plan to upload the instrumentals to Spotify one day though, when I have the motivation!

As soon as i saw the ouroboros or whatever it was called, i pointed and yelled “The snake itself FUCKING EATS!!! AHHHH!!!”
As well as stuff like “the scales are now tipped” and other lines.
Does the line “erasing the world by proxy have to do with” killing the literal moon?
