YEAAA!!!! YEAAAAAAA!!!! IT CAME OUT SO AMAZING!!! IT WAS LOVELY WORKING ON THIS ANIMATION, THE SONG GOES SO HARD!!!! IT WAS SO FUN TO ANIMATE!! literally one of my new favorite fnaf songs of all time, it's so unique and amazing!! this song makes me ascend everytime i hear it😍😍 best william afton song of all time, it shows his character so well!
@@zephyrorsomethinh1528 I don't understand the problem, I don't get how this is only bad when less popular artists do this. You should be glad they even decided to credit it and not to mention you could figure it out in the song lyrics "I know you've heard this tune before" EVEN THOUGH its about william it can be taken differently from everyone. This person adjusted "Charlies Inferno" and also made it fit the song. Directly stolen would be mainly lyrics stolen, whole instrumental, but this is literally a sample is it not? Other song writers do the same thing and this should NOT just be an issue because they aren't that popular.
I really like how this song shows how William went from almost being happy with being Springtrap, to dreading it and just wanting to finally rest. And how it really messed with his sanity. It's a really eerie portrayal and Bunnycat's animations adds to it. Well done.
This is why i will always prefer this over ucn being a thing, it feels so unnecesary making a seperate hell just for William when springtrap was literally RIGHT THERE, the punishment was springtrap and it should've stayed like that, death is too good for him.
@@Sir_GrimReaperI think a big part of the lore was exactly that, trying to convince Cassidy to just pass on already, sleep, there's no need to suffer any longer. It's not necessary and everyone knows it. This is just my thoughts about it though. Take it with a grain of salt.
@@Sir_GrimReaper Personally, I still think that UCN stars Michael, not William. Almost entirely because of 'the one you shouldn't have killed'. If that's CC talking to Michael, it makes a bit more sense.
@@Cinnaschticks a big part of the lore was allowing all the children to move on, making cassidy super special for no reason is so stupid to me, because to this day we don't know why she's angrier than the other children, my big issue with ucn is that in order to get there we had to make william dumber than what he's supposed to be and completely destroy the cosmic irony of springtrap to get there assasinating his character in the process, if the line "i knew it was a lie" was re-written to make William feel more emotional, make it feel like he went there just out of pure anger towards henry instead of "i didn't fall for it i just came because i wanted to" it feels so forced. Not only that they turned William into a masochist that actually enjoys being springlocked because now "he's more than afton ever was" i f*cking hate fnaf 6 and ucn for that.
@@fandomotaku9921 "a bit" of sense isn't "logical" sense my guy, there's so many points that proves that the one in ucn is William, saying that it's michael is having to ignore a lot stuff to get there, because biggest problem of that theory is that the crying child holds no grudges against michael, and if he did back then, he doesn't anymore.
@@CharlieWey-ThomasIt’s basically clever wordplay. Because of how quickly the next line comes, it sounds like William/Springtrap answers his own question.
I like the way "you've heard the tune before" has a TRIPLE meaning. One is how William character is iconic and of course you've heard many of interpretations. Also Charlie's Inferno inspiration. Also it's initial meaning of sinners excusing themselves. aand I just love the "why'd you think that" because I feel like even the franchise itself forgets that William had his normal, not evil human life too
To avoid any... further confusion,, this song is indeed an homage to Charlie's Inferno!! I always wanna credit everything/everyone that's helped shape the song to the best of my abilities, but at the same time I didn't wanna spoil the sudden surprise-shift that happens a minute into this song 😅 I was introduced to the song a few years ago and fell in love with it, as it allowed itself to be goofy while still conveying its unique story (something I've always done in all my years making all kinds of art). It was inspiring and I could easily see how it could fit all kinds of characters. After seeing how I'M SANE was received (a lot of people really liked it, eventually VERY disappointed in me once they discovered it involved a lil bit of poppy playtime), people really wanted me to do something similar with FNAF (even telling me to re-release it as one...) - and since I didn't wanna just do the exact same thing over again, I wanted to put some sort of spin on it while trying to *deliver* to my audience still, I decided it would be fun to make references to Charlie's Inferno while still being its own song. However, it's a little hard to pay tribute to another song this way without it seeming like a total ripoff & i get that! The result of this songs release has shown me that there's a fine line between people who love it and those who *really don't like it*, which i'll take into account when moving forward as always. (also i should add in that i'm still just a person - who can make mistakes and will grow from them, at that! People have been talking about this song as if I'm not among them, and i'm just a little sensitive to criticism and have always had this *fear* of doing things wrong leading to people complaining about me/what i've made🥶, so excuse me if i'm overexplaining!!) My music tends to move like a musical with its constant mood & tempo changes and generally people seem to find that off-putting, so i'll try to have it be more static in the future so that more people can enjoy whatever I wanna show the world. This song has some flaws to it and I knew of all of them before its release, so you can imagine how stressed & shaky i was & have been all this time huhuh... With all that being said, it's not the end of the world!! each song of mine serves as a step in my music-making path and some will always be rougher than the others- Thank you to those who support me and what I do!! ... (and sorry if you hate this song while your friends don't!!) SUPPORT THAT HANDSOME DEVIL by listening to their music too! buy some merch!! YOU KNOW THEY DESERVE IT CHARLIE'S INFERNO: ruclips.net/video/lOgfBGfaP6E/видео.html thank you for reading this long essay & tysm for 1 million views ❤
In my opinion you did a really job not just taking the exact melody from the chorus, but adjusting it to fit the rest of the song's vibe, and even adding more onto it! I thought it was done very tastefully, and if this song leads to more people end up listening to That Handsome Devil (who's music I wholeheartedly adore), it's a win win!
Honestly I really like the musical whiplash with the mood and tempo changes, it scratches an itch in my brain Also the inclusion of Charlie's Inferno was really well done, even if it felt a little unoriginal you still managed to make it into your own thing that fit with the overall song
This song wouldn’t have been as amazing if you hadn’t stayed true to what you wanted to do ❤ This song is absolutely amazing with the reference to one of my favorite songs and making it even better
if people want static music they can go ot other people for that. i personally like how boppy your music is and how often it shifts to convey certain emotions. you're doing new and cool stuff and it's great! don't hurt your style just because you can't cater to everyone. you have an audience for a reason, and it's because they like what you make
The amount of Charlie's Inferno references and how clearly inspired this song is by it, while still being so identifiable original is such an amazing thing to see. Absurdly fun to listen to
I’m definitely reading into it too much, but the line ‘there once was a healthy man’ works so well to show aftons character, he looks back on his past fondly, not because he was with his family, not because he wasn’t a monster, but because he wasn’t in constant agony, a selfish reason.
i love this line because it's so funny to me. other common/cliche adjectives could fit there (ie happy, normal, etc) but looking back, none of that is correct nor appropriate; the most William can say to his own credit is, well at least he had his health lol
This feels like a fanmade sequel to Charlie's Inferno. He became a hell veteran and is now simply begging to die as he's slowly dragged to be tortured once more. His sentiment toward the situation becomes less and less vivid as he gets used to the pain. It also conveniently fits into Afton's story.
Do you know who I am and this that says I know you heard the tune before I believe is in Charlie’s Inferno which basically also the line in this song could be correct because it kind of sound similar to Charlie’s Inferno so you can basically I’ve heard the tune before because Charlie’s Inferno was released obviously before this
Scott: you are the main fucking character! William: I retire! Scott: cya bitch! William: bye (dies) Scott: now he can be a dead bodies that Chica will eat in the movie. Chica: nope
The voice acting for William is PERFECT and the idea of William slowly losing his sanity year by year is very clear and expressive and his reason for what he did is also expressed extremely well
I feel many songs based on William/Springtrap specifically fail to properly convey his personality and character correctly, which this song absolutely does not struggle with. Just how crazy and pyschopathic he is, which you did perfect in 'I'm Sane' too. I feel this absolutely encapsulates him perfectly, especially when paired with this immaculate animation. I can definitely hear the Charlies Inferno inspiration and I absolutely fucking LOVE it. You and Bunnycat have created an absolute masterpiece of a video, of which I will be having on loop for days, no doubt!
@@theaddictive6676yet it’s about another insane businessman using dead children in his toys to try and make them “better”. Poppy playtime and FNAF are similar in some ways. I know because I’m a fan of both :)
@@theaddictive6676 I'm very aware it is a Poppy Playtime song! As the kind person above explained, they are very easily to correlate and compare to one another. Without the video to I'm Sane, or any knowledge of it at all, I could definitely see how you COULD possibly confuse it for a FNAF song.

I love the difference between Springtrap in this song, and Charlie from Charlies Inferno, where this is inspired from. In Charlie's Inferno, he does good acts for his own benefit, and at the start WANTS to die. Then, when met with his fate, wants to stay alive. While in this, William is a man that's done horrible things for his own benefit, and didn't want to die. And then when met with his grim fate, just wants to die. LOVE IT!!!
exactly!! i feel like this is the spiritual successor to charlie's inferno in that way, similar to hayloft and hayloft 2 in how the stories align between songs :D
The wait was definitely worth it, HUGE props to the animator, the animation was beautiful. Those lyrics together with the animation is telling the Afton´s story PERFECTLY AAA This experimental work, as you mentioned, was indeed a success and you definitely pushed your limits, GREAT JOB💥 (loving the inspired Charlie´s Inferno chorus)
I love the references to Charlie's inferno. Its a song about someone in denial about how much of a bad person they are which fits William afton so much
I love how it transitions from “I don’t want to die” to “I just want to die”, because that actually fits. He sought immortality because he didn’t want to die, but by the time of “Ultimate Custom Night”, there’s nothing he craves more.
William's screams of agony at the end are amazingly well done, and whoever did those is an amazing voice actor! I just want to praise this over and over again
I have to admit that when I first heard a clip of this song, I thought it was Markiplier’s voice. The voice actor is fantastic, though. He makes the song very interesting and enjoyable.
I like the detail that springtrap never stops smiling. Since springbonnie's design comes with default with a smile and that detail was kept as springtrap in the games.
Holy shit Axie this rocks. Obsessed with the Charlie's Inferno interpolation; you knocked it out of the park once again. Huge props to the animator as well! They really helped bring the song to life. :o)
This describes William Afton so well. The way he has become so brutal, but bringing flashbacks to when he was more sane. You can see the creeping insanity in the song, the way he initially is completely cold-blooded, before the flashbacks to when he wasn’t so awful, and the further in you go, he begins to go from cold-blooded to terrified, truly highlighting his insanity and delirium. *He really has gone HAYWIRE.*
@@kittypeanut4102 Books and sister location, since it shows that william afton never was saying that michael afton was not his son and books shows the relation of william afton and his daughter
@@kittypeanut4102 well we don’t know for sure but its more likely he wasn’t a good father, he was a bad father in pretty much every other continuity it makes sense for him to be a bad dad in the games, and there is more evidence that suggests he is a bad father over a good one lol
I like how William is presented a bit sympathetically here, but its still made clear he is a monster. In particular, with the end. "To me, it's all fine art If I could take it back, well I'd not!" Despite all the suffering he caused or went through, despite literally being in hell, he still regrets nothing and would do it all again if he could.
This animation is killer. I love it when people depict the protagonists side of the story, where he has fears and shortcomings of his own instead of just being a one-dimensional villian. Edit: Antagonist, not protagonist
Technically protagonist just means the "main" character, while antagonist is someone who opposes them. Your protagonist can still be the villain of the story, with the antagonist being the good guy, but bc most stories follow the hero the words have become kinda distorted in general use. Because Afton is the main focus you could technically call him the protagonist even if hes undoubtedly the villain
The contrast between evil, rotting Springtrap facing the actions of his consequences, and happy psychopath Purple Guy, ever optimistic and in denial that he will ever truly face those consequences is so genius. I love how the visuals portray the difference so clearly, from a dark background to a pink one, but as Afton starts actually seeking death, the visuals of these two sides slowly come together as he finally faces hell.
i was listening and youre totally right dude, i didnt think about it but he talks about how no ones gonna find it, and how its fine arts so he would want some to continue it :0 i thought he had Michael carry it on or smth is fnaf:sl
4:07 I love this part so much. not just because it sounds AWESOME but also because of how well it captures the idea that all of william's hard work was truly for nothing and that, as henry states, the memory of everything that happened will eventually fade away, along with his precious "research"
the only way immortality would be pretty cool, is that you could just choose to not be immortal at any time if you’re just tired of life (like william)
I cannot fathom how good this song is. Most likely the best cover of Charlie's Inferno! I listened to the original song and thought, "This would fit perfectly for William Afton!" and here we are. Massive props to you and your team.
@@MochaDoka No it's not actually, the only similarities with Charlie's Inferno in this song's instrumental are that the main backing track for it uses the same notes you hear in the instrumental for the chorus of Charlie's Inferno. Beyond that, everything about the instrumental is completely original. The chorus also uses different instruments than the ones used in Charlie's Inferno, and it is accompanied by a bunch of other smaller details, like how Axie can easily be heard imitating the track with a "bah" sound. The melody for the chorus is from Charlie's Inferno to pay tribute to what inspired the song, but that's it.
@@MochaDoka Please, do YOUR research. As Avery and Axie have both said, the instrumental is different, only inspired by charlie's inferno, not taken straight from the song. It's also not at all even close to a 1 to 1 copy of charlie's inferno so I'm surprised you made this mistake.
3:54 AUGHHH THIS PART IS SO GOOD, the key change, the glitching, the utter panic to realize it’s coming to the end, it’s so good; as well as the visuals, cause they just go so well in hand with it, ITS SO FLUID I LOVE IT
I’m very particular with interpretations of William, especially in music and animation; but this stands out to me. I adore the experimental music choices and the use of sound effects (the mouse clicking and fnaf 3 sounds stood out to me) and I love it when songs become unhinged with screaming like this. Also the chorus’s melody reminds me of Charlie’s Inferno, which is fitting for William. I also noticed the chorus changes in a way that isn’t distracting. I really enjoyed the verse mentioning the loss of his daughter and the chorus that follows. I absolutely love this song! It stands in the best way! And the animation? Gorgeous. I’m (trying) to animate and this style of simple and flow-y movements is what I wish to achieve. Fantastic work all around!
SO TRUE Songs with crazy vibe changes (Edgy to Happy & hyper) And yeah, screaming in songs are so underrated. If you love songs with exactly what I mentioned: Consider listening to “me and your mama” (childish gambino)
How did you so perfectly capture this man's descent from insanity to complete and utter delirium? This entire song screams Afton's narcissistic pity and hopeless regret so well it's practically a summary of his entire character. I've never quite heard a FNAF song like this one before, and I mean that in the best way possible!
2 questions. What is delirium in this context? How can someone be narcissistic AND have pity? Aren't those 2 like, polar opposites of each other? (Also, when you say "hopeless regret" you mean he knows he's going to hell and accepts it at this point right?)
@@user-nm1lx8qb3u Narcissistic Pity is akin to make yourself more pitiable than you deserve, and absorving yourself of you actions. Like a Remorseless Serial Killer making excuses of his Actions and demonizing the children he killed, who cannot take the consequences of their actions. ...Also Narcissistic is inflanted sense of importance, a need for admirations, a fragile self-esteem, between other things, which Peepaw not being able to trick anyone, and being stuck in situation begging the children he killed without hesitation, for no real reason, and sometimes being able to see the holes and contradictions on his pitiful begging.
Not only is this an amazing song with amazing animation already, but it's heavily inspired by a That Handsome Devil Song, (my favorite band) AND it proposes a VERY interesting take on Afton being brought back to life again and again! I'll certainly be watching and listening to this non-stop for the next few weeks.
My favourite thing about the lyrics is how much he frames himself as a victim of the kids. (Puppeteer strings, implying Charlie with "who would do such terrible things?", the vengeful spirit being some hellish creature.) Some irl serial killers paint it like their victims MADE them do it. It's a good detail how much denial and victim-blaming and self-vindication Afton has, really captures his character.
Love the attention to detail. At the start, you can faintly hear “workshopping robots, no intention ill or foul” which is later in the song, as well as I know you’ve heard the tune before, not to mention the ability to show emotion even when a smile is fixed on his face the entire time with just some eyes during the part where he is humming, after he goes sprungtra- mode for a second and then back to normal you can hear him humming “what I did oh, what do I do”
I love how it went from "I dont want to die" To "please just let me die" And "but atleat i can come back again and again" To "i dont want to happen again and again" makes it look like he regreted it
This genuinely is my new favorite FNAF song EVER, and I’ve been a fan for like 7 years. The Charlie’s inferno references, the cool ass vocals that PERFECTLY fit the different tones the song shifts between, the occasional screams in the background at parts of the song, the animation, that ENDINGGGG. The way you sang the “Now it’s coming from below!” during the last part of the song scratches my brain. Hell, the way you characterized William here was on point, and I’ve never seen a fnaf song represent him this well in such a creative way. That egocentric, cocky persona that slowly began to crack the linger he was springtrap. GAH. ITS SO GOOD DUDE. This song is so underrated, despite it getting 200k views in less than a WEEK. It deserves WAY more. Absolutely outstanding work. Been looping it for like 2 days straight 😭
this and charlies inferno are my favourite songs, ive never liked a song so well so fast except for charlies and oh my god its so fucking perfect i i lovce it waah
Everyone is talking about how good it is, and it is, but I'm here wondering WHY DOES IT SOUND LIKE MARKIPLIER IS SINGING IT?! That was a compliment. Keep up the good work.
This is the BEST music video I've EVER seen on RUclips... and that's coming from somebody who generally doesn't like FNAF songs (although I love all Axie songs). The "IT'S DYING" is so spot on with the animation it's just PERFECT!!!
OK, but let’s be for real. The animation is spectacular and like the glitching parts and the end part is amazing. And the shows a lot about William (I actually don’t know too much about FNaF lore). This is just amazing and I can’t stop watching it.
I've personally always had a hard time listening to Charlie's Inferno as a person who struggles with unwanted intrusive thoughts. I avoid remembering the main tune as much as I can. But I think that this song will hopefully help me remember it more as a fun FNAF song rather than a horrible awakening of my religious and moral trauma ♡ Aside from that, it has that 2014 representation of William's/Springtrap's character in the early days :) Something truly nostalgic (you know, when some of us thought he was a misunderstood killer in need of a redemption arc)
Tbh, that's kinda how he IS. Sent into a hateful spiral by the death of his child, went haywire, stopping at no means to fulfill that promise he made. But he also is a horrible father and a drunk, so there's that.
@@ughwhy-f9v In my opinion William's story started as fulfilling the promise he made. But over time and this is (if I'm remember them right) the most in "The Silver Eyes" book trilogy that his motive changed to wanting to be immoral. And this song shows a more accrete depiction of what immortality would do to a person. If the immortality worked on the logic of (You feel the pain of dying each time you die, and then come back just to eventually do it again and again).
Dude i had the same problem listening to charlies inferno, but another thing that helped me feel better about it was chonny jash's cover of it. It warps the message and meaning around a bit to be more comforting
i love how they represented both the scary and pathetic nature of the character, in the music, lyrics and animation. It's an amazing idea one of the best concept for a William based fnaf song
God I can't express how freaking wonderful this is. The Charlie'a inferno inspiration is so perfect, the animation is some of bunny's best work yet. Axie you masterfully captured this monster's decent into insanity. And the lyrics, omg the lyrics, a true chef kiss. First he was happy to be immortal but "soon" realized that it's just nothing but never ending pain and loneliness. The way the lyrics reflect this change over time is awesome! And when he finally gets dragged down into hell it's just... wow. Just wow. (And everything I just said is a fraction of how much I love this.)
YEAAAAA LET'S GOOOOO!!! IT'S OUT! I love how unique the style of your songs are. It really conveys William's descent into madness perfectly. I think the addition of the 'SAVE THEM' in the song was really creative! The animation is beautifully done, definitely a new favorite of mine! Can't wait to listen to more of your work in the future!!!
The second I heard the first "I dont wanna die" it all hit me and i literally screamed. The Song Charlie's Inferno is about a man who dies and isn't allowed into heaven or hell. Charlie's Inferno is such a good song for William/Springtrap because William wasn't allowed to die, he never went to heaven or hell but instead was forced to stay to be tortured. This has such a different vibe to pretty much any other fnaf song I’ve heard, and one of my favorite animators is involved Y E E E. Bunnycat’s animation and the song build off each other so well! Not to mention how immediately everything clicked when I heard that first “I know you’ve heard the tune before”-Really fun incorporation of Charlie’s inferno into a fnaf song, never thought I’d see the day.

I’d like to think that this is an explanation of the song and analysis of a few parts that support its main purpose. To start, overall I think that this song is meant to be a representation of Afton’s crumbling mind throughout his ungodly existence in that suit, as well as to show much of a selfish and evil being he is, something he’s very well aware of. Throughout the rest of the song starting from the midpoint of the song, he absolves himself of all responsibility for what he’s done and justifies this with all the pain he’s endured. Keep this in mind when at 1:56 when he brings up 30, 40, and 50 years. I first thought that at 50 years and being tethered to puppet strings, his mind was essentially so broken due to all of the pain that his belief that he doesn’t deserve to go through that pain led him to forgetting about his acts and/or assciating them with someone else, and left only with his pain and shattered mind, asked wtf someone could do to deserve this. But now, I believe that he’s actually summarizes the decades preluding the eternity of custom night. First, 30 years with the ghosts or visions of the ghosts of the dead kids; then, 40 years after being released from the room and apparently knowing that everyone he’d affected was looking for him; then, 50 years to eternity being stuck in Ultimate custom night being killed endlessly. At that point, he’s blaming the kids with that question of who’d do such things, relieving himself of responsibility as selfish and broken as he is. Along with this the f0cker sings of regretting nothing after everything that’s happened. This likely means that those beings that show up near the end are said kids subjecting him to his endless death. Ironically, in his eyes, they’re nothing but monsters.
In truth I can see the logic: He simply killed them. They tortured him for years and years never letting him die. In the world of law that is a bit of a foul move when they could've simply got their revenge and killed and be done with it. Of course, given the events they are justified in torturing him for the years and years of their lives they lost as kids. Though tbh you could argue the kids have screwed up big time when they killed who knows how many innocent people trying to get revenge and thus deserve just as much punishment especially given the fact by never letting afton die they gave him more and more chances to escape and continue to kill as well as spawn others to follow in his footsteps. Just a whole lotta messed up here tbh.
@@deltagearadvanced5140if we go with the sort of movie quotes along with some of the games it’s possible the children’s souls became malevolent and instead of wanting to move on instead torture Arron over and over again
i mean the children literally didnt have the time to mentally develop to adulthood, humans have the potential to be the scariest creatures on this planet so many given immortality with a enraged undeveloped mind and unstoppable thirst for revenge is pretty bad, least afton had to spend 50 years in a overglorified mech fursuit convinvicng himself he was innocent@@deltagearadvanced5140
Coming from someone who only has surface level knowledge of fnaf lore, I really like how this song goes through William Afton’s progression as a character. From a musical standpoint as well, it’s such a cool song! The added sound effects and the switch between the more humane Afton and the lesser one is crazy good. I wish we had more unique songs like this nowadays.
@@cryptk4115 it's not even about fnaf's horrendeous writing, it's about the mischaracterization of william that leads people to think he's a regular "sad backstory romanticized killer" while he is literally the polar opposite of this
@@ikaiju-eu9wn No matter how sad the backstory is, killing is wrong, I don't see how people can look at William absolving himself of responsibility for mass child murder with what he's going through being worse and just be like "Dude, this guy is SO COOL!" So perhaps that's why I don't see it.
@@cryptk4115 yes, that's why i like the way Scott actually wrote William, he is not a typical good looking smart guy who kills because the world hurt him that you see in most media, he is an either obese or deathly skinny, ugly, cowardly moron who kills because he hates his family and wants a new one that he can freely manipulate and then kills because he does not want to take responsibility for what he did, like we have his whole character in the books, the movie and the games but people still see headcanons as true, and even if people know how William actually is they somehow still obsess over him
this songs legit been stuck in a bros head since i found it last year lol. its one of the few afton songs that gets his character right even though im against william being sympathetic at all to his family since i prefer him being the tortured heartless misrable bastard lol. but the end and and springtraps verses really hit the perfect nail of william trying to sorta victimize himself after all the awful things hes done, him being actually scared of death makes him still human but shows how selfish he still is. tldr as massive afton fan i fuckin love this song so badly lol.
This is beautiful and perfectly represents Afton in a unique way. From being an average man with a passion, to descending to utter insanity searching for immortality. Once he found it, once he faced his consequences, he only wanted to die. He coped by blaming others, 2:08 "WHO WOULD DO SUCH TERRIBLE- things..." - I especially love how the voice gives up and he realizes that it all ... was *his* all his fault. The usage of emotions through vocals, instrumentals, and animation really shows a side of Willam Afton that isn't explored very much. Outstanding job!
This gives me Charlie’s Inferno vibes, but with such a wonderful twist to it. Hear me out. In Charlie’s Inferno it’s about a guy who’s done all he can to get to heaven, but is booted to hell. With Afton he’s trying to appeal to the afterlife so he can get away with everything he’s done, knowing full well what’s coming for him. The music has a few notes of similarity, but I still see it on its own when listening to it. The ending just reminded me with the singing over the demonic sounds. To say the least I’m putting this in many of my playlists. The comparisons make it that much more fun to listen to! I want to hear this again and again. Great job guys!
He is dead now at least. Not. But he is gone, he's still in UCN according to lore. Burntrap is the mimic and glitchtrap is simply his code still being in the game.
“ it’s coming from below “ just seems so insecure, happy, worried and psychopathic at the same time. This song is the best FNAF song I’ve ever heard. And that’s saying something.
If anyone is wondering what Charlie’s Inferno is, it’s a song made by That Handsome Devil. And i like how the song came out with it. CI has the same idea as the lore of FNAF, it even had a few lines from CI (I know you’ve heard the tune before, I don’t want to die) and the same rhythm.
Ive listened to FNAF Songs since the beginning, and this is genuinely one of the most creative and unique songs ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Thank you, your work is amazing, and hope this get pushed by the algorithm.
I’m not much of a fnaf fan, so please understand this isn’t coming from a place of prior affinity towards this series, or yourself for that matter! That said, I cannot stress enough how wonderful this song is. It warms my heart to see open inspiration and homage, and as well as the song simply being quite well made and interesting. (The animation is also very well done, i adore the strong imagery!)
I love that it plays on the beat of Charlie’s Inferno along with adding new lines, because well. This is William’s Inferno and I think they work great! Wish this song got more attraction
I just gotta say, absolutely love the sampling, with Charlie's Inferno being one of my favorite songs. The way it switches back and forth with the three main styles (the more menacing verses, the jazzy bridge and then the muzak-ish chorus) is great ! Feels very sporadic like an actual two faced child murderer lol. Also people complaining about the sampling clearly aren't That Handsome Devil fans, I'm sorry to burst y'all's bubble but a TON of their music straight up uses instrumentals from a bunch of Muzak tracks (Hotsy Totsy in Party Mom and the Invisible Dad and Holiday for Strings in 70s Tuxedos as two examples). Those tracks remain uncredited and the same goes for a bunch of other artists. Not every melody will be original, and referencing other songs is really fun! It was probably just a coincidence here but paying homage to a band that's known for sampling by sampling them is REALLY smart. Awesome song have been looping for hours by now.
YEAAA!!!! YEAAAAAAA!!!! IT CAME OUT SO AMAZING!!! IT WAS LOVELY WORKING ON THIS ANIMATION, THE SONG GOES SO HARD!!!! @@zephyrorsomethinh1528 it’s NOT stolen as the original song is rightfully credited as in the description

To avoid any... further confusion,, this song is indeed an homage to Charlie's Inferno!! I always wanna credit everything/everyone that's helped shape the song to the best of my abilities, but at the same time I didn't wanna spoil the sudden surprise-shift that happens a minute into this song 😅
I was introduced to the song a few years ago and fell in love with it, as it allowed itself to be goofy while still conveying its unique story (something I've always done in all my years making all kinds of art).
People have been talking about this song as if I'm not among them, and i'm just a little sensitive to criticism and have always had this *fear* of doing things wrong leading to people complaining about me/what i've made🥶, so excuse me if i'm overexplaining!!)
My music tends to move like a musical with its constant mood & tempo changes and generally people seem to find that off-putting, so i'll try to have it be more static in the future so that more people can enjoy whatever I wanna show the world. This song has some flaws to it and I knew of all of them before its release, so you can imagine how stressed & shaky i was & have been all this time huhuh...
With all that being said, it's not the end of the world!! each song of mine serves as a step in my music-making path and some will always be rougher than the others- Thank you to those who support me and what I do!! ... (and sorry if you hate this song while your friends don't!!)

That was long. But great song mate.
Honestly I really like the musical whiplash with the mood and tempo changes, it scratches an itch in my brain
Also the inclusion of Charlie's Inferno was really well done, even if it felt a little unoriginal you still managed to make it into your own thing that fit with the overall song

I’m definitely reading into it too much, but the line ‘there once was a healthy man’ works so well to show aftons character, he looks back on his past fondly, not because he was with his family, not because he wasn’t a monster, but because he wasn’t in constant agony, a selfish reason.
No no, you’re not reading into it too much. These are lyrics, they’re *meant* to be read into
i love this line because it's so funny to me. other common/cliche adjectives could fit there (ie happy, normal, etc) but looking back, none of that is correct nor appropriate; the most William can say to his own credit is, well at least he had his health lol
i mean i think he misses the fact he was seen as ''normal''
@@cototototorra7106 i dont think William would care about that at this point. I feel like it's more because he wasnt in constant pain
I don't think not wanting to be in constant agony is selfish ☠️😭

I've personally always had a hard time listening to Charlie's Inferno as a person who struggles with unwanted intrusive thoughts. I avoid remembering the main tune as much as I can.
But I think that this song will hopefully help me remember it more as a fun FNAF song rather than a horrible awakening of my religious and moral trauma ♡
Aside from that, it has that 2014 representation of William's/Springtrap's character in the early days :) Something truly nostalgic (you know, when some of us thought he was a misunderstood killer in need of a redemption arc)
Dang, that makes me happy to hear! It seems like a perfect replacement for that tune, almost like it was made for you
Tbh, that's kinda how he IS. Sent into a hateful spiral by the death of his child, went haywire, stopping at no means to fulfill that promise he made. But he also is a horrible father and a drunk, so there's that.
@@ughwhy-f9v
In my opinion William's story started as fulfilling the promise he made.
But over time and this is (if I'm remember them right) the most in
"The Silver Eyes" book trilogy that his motive changed to wanting to be immoral.

A YEAR ALREADY??? dude, the time is passing too fast! I remember like this just had came out yesterday!

The switch from light and upbeat to dark and slower makes me so happy and scratches my brain so much im so obsessed with this song auughh

I did not expect a mash up of five nights at Freddy’s and Charlie’s Inferno but here it is and it does not disappoint in the slightest.
The first “ITS OH SO VERY PAINFUL” itches my brain in the right spot, you can hear the emotion. Been listening to this song for so long and only just found this is the og video. I’ve been listening to this the entirety of the roadtrip I’m currently on, IM SO ADDICTED TO THIS SONG AUGHH!!!!!
I love when the song tickles my brain

Also yes, you can FEEL the clenched teeth and its awesome
Omg I love the reference to Charlie’s Inferno!!!! Good work overall. You make some real bangers!

Hello
Hi
its not very original
HI GRIFF I LOVE YOUR MUSIC!
Hi griffinilla
Coming from someone who only has surface level knowledge of fnaf lore, I really like how this song goes through William Afton’s progression as a character. From a musical standpoint as well, it’s such a cool song! The added sound effects and the switch between the more humane Afton and the lesser one is crazy good. I wish we had more unique songs like this nowadays.
except it's horribly inaccurate
@@ikaiju-eu9wnYeah, instead of being the FNAF lore, it’s the FNAF lore if someone who could write a story made it
@@cryptk4115 it's not even about fnaf's horrendeous writing, it's about the mischaracterization of william that leads people to think he's a regular "sad backstory romanticized killer" while he is literally the polar opposite of this
@@ikaiju-eu9wn No matter how sad the backstory is, killing is wrong, I don't see how people can look at William absolving himself of responsibility for mass child murder with what he's going through being worse and just be like "Dude, this guy is SO COOL!" So perhaps that's why I don't see it.

I know pal its just great...

I kinda hear him say”rip my balls out”
Fnaf songs are so fire.

Happy to see another thd fan :) And yeah I agree w this entire comment
Just wondering, what is Muzak?
