We have yet to see Boston at its best. Both Tatum and Brown still have room to improve. Tatum has no mid-range game and could improve his 3-point shooting. Brown can get better at ballhandling and significantly better shooting free throws. And we still haven't seen a healthy Porzingis and probably never will.
The problem is. NOBODY can "lock down" Tatum and Brown consistently or throughout a possession. They may stop the 1st dribble penetration attempt but a second or third? not happening. Keep in mind that they are going into their primes. In my opinion, if Boston remains focused and hungry they can easily repeat or even win 3 in a row. Keep in mind that they are going into their primes. In my opinion, if Boston remains focused and hungry they can easily repeat or even win 3 in a row. The Sixers made moves that seem desperate and as a last hope to finally get passed Boston. If they remain healthy they may make some noise but that remains to be seen. Bucks, Knicks, Sixers, and even Pacers will be tough but I just dont see any team in the east or perhaps in the league with more offensive AND defensive assets as the Boston Celtics. Anything can happen but, the Celtics remain the top team.
