I wouldn’t mind hearing more Alice In Chains. That was really well done, guys. The AiC Reddit group is getting a kick out it (that’s where I found this).
@@docd357 We also cover songs like Would and Rooster at live shows. We're going to do Rain When I Die and Man In The Box too. We didn't record them during this last recording session, but maybe at a future one? Thanks for the support!
I always thought Them Bones was jazzy cause the odd 7/4 tempo and dissonant chromatic progression. Finaly someone has done a proper jazz arrengement. Congrats, guys!
Same! There's some jazzy harmonies in the original recorded guitar that don't come through in the full mix. Look up "Them Bones' guitar only on youtube.
Jake channeling Keith Emerson there - I was half expecting him to wrestle that Hammond to the floor!!! Brilliant work on this number guys.. Jazz Overhaul really spreading their wings...
We'd LOVE to! Which ones do you think would be a good fit? Right now we are focusing on performances in the Seattle area since we're local to this music scene.
@@jazzoverhaul not to familiar with the Seattle music festival scene, I’m a Florida local. If y’all ever come down to Florida check out the spirit of Suwannee music park in live oak, it’s a great venue and they hold festivals there all the time.

If Them Bones was written in the 1970s...
them trombones
I LOVE THIS
jazz AiC is my favorite new thing now
Awesome! More Jazz AiC recordings are on the way!
Wow! Incredible! This could be the soundrack of a 70s car chase movie :D
Thank you so much!
I like how they kept the odd time signature in the verses.
Thank you!
Why in the heck doesn't this band have more followers? They're awesome!!
Gonna end up a big old pile of trombones. Amazing band and brilliantly done
LOL!! Thank you!
😂
Gives off a very proggier vibe

Love your take on the choruses. The horns really give a lovely new vibe to the song.
Super glad that you like it! Lot of pressure on the horns to do the harmonies of Staley and Cantrell justice.
Sax solo was VERY Jeff Coffin! 👏🏻
Another killer cover by super skilled players! so fun!
As someone who loves jazz and AIC, I feel like this was personally made for me! Thanks ❤ sounds amazing
Glad you liked it! We're going to be going back into the studio in August and plan to record two more AIC songs. Stay tuned!

That doesn't sound like jazz, but it sure does sound cool.
Thank you so much! Yeah, it's definitely not swinging but features a lot of jazz inspired improvisation.
It sounds way more like some 70s prog/jazz rock band like King Crimson
