HA! I have a dog named Loki, and he was lying next to me, and when he heard Emily say Loki, the snake's name, his ears perked up and he started watching the screen. It was so cute! :P

It’s crazy to think how long this has been in the works. Though I know it has seemed like forever to Emily & Ed. I’m just so happy for them! Congratulations guys!

Lemme share the story of Scabz here:
So a few years ago my cat attacked A garter snake in the yard and messed him up pretty bad; he had big wounds on his back and the end of his tail was gone. I took him over by the house and put him a shoebox with an exit so he could have a safe place to heal, but leave when he wanted; he left after two days. Now every now and then I'll see him in the yard sunning

My grandma has like two garter snakes in her amazing garden and we're pretty sure they've been mating because we started seeing more of them so every once and a while we'll be lucky and see them if we're quiet that's it

Aww, that's sweet. My cat picks up garters sometimes. There was one that she badly injured that I had to let go and it probably died :( It was a young one too, about the size of an average pencil. If I had known how simple they were to care for, I would have kept it to nurse it back to health. I was under the impression at the time that all snakes had fancy diets and needed a crap ton of space and a lot of special equipment. I want to get garters someday, so if she ever catches one again I might keep it.

hi emily, as a big fan I'm well aware of why you have Rex, and I think you do a great job trying to make it clear where she came from and that alligators are NOT pets. HOWEVER, it seems like a lot of children and younger people watch your channel and I see in the comments all the time "you should breed rex!" or "rex is so cute I want one!" and I think it would help baby alligators everywhere if you did a video dedicated to further explaining why alligators are dangerous wild animals and not pets. baby alligators are scarily easy to obtain and I hope rex isn't contributing to people thinking gators are a pet they can keep in their home.

I feel that on a spiritual level. I even still fit into my clothes from when I was 15 because bacon then I willed my body into just staying like it was back then. Never changing and always staying in my larvae state. Growing up is a trap!
