You know that horrible frustrating moment where you offer out one of your players, expecting to sell them for a decent wedge of money only to receive paltry, measley low offers? Yeah me too. The AI seem to offer low but expect mammoth offers to even contemplate selling their players. Well recently, whilst experiencing exactly this, I managed to change everything. I managed to create a bit of an auction/bidding war and the AI clubs completely lost their mind. I managed to get bids that were almost 3x the initial offer! Today’s video is the story of how i achieved it and hopefully you’ll be able to do the same in your saves too!

I did know you could draw teams into bidding wars with each other. But I didn't know you could click the 'offer from' box to switch between offers. This is amazing!
Great video bud! A lot of stuff to learn from here. Look at the Raphinha offers in real life, start with £40m from Arsenal and it’s been edged up to £60m. You made a propped bidding war sir, hats off.
ive had the AI bid 0 euros for a 20 year old wonderkid who wouldve been a starter for any team in the world
then i asked for more and they went to 11.25k
highest they ever bid was like 50k
i wouldnt have sold him for any less than 120 million either

@@zebra7578 he was probably just managing in hungary or any lower rep league. The value inflation in the top 5 leagues compared to the rest is mental. I'm myself managing in Norway atm and have a squad that is CL quarter final quality and the average age of my team is like 21. Therefore my team is basically a bunch of wonderkids, already at high premier league level, but they're all valued at around 5-15m even though they're all gonna be worldbeaters. It's probably down to rep, which is a bugged feature in itself because I'm 3 stars even though I'm in the top 30 UEFA coefficients because the rep doesn't seem to increase fast enough
This is how I've always done my transfers in FM but I'm still playing FM20 so was under the impression from content creators that this didn't work in FM22! Love it
You could do this in FM21 too but teams have to be interested in the player in the first place, if you’re trying to sell a player that’s not that good, you’ll only get 2 teams bid and one will pull out after the second bids
Needed a video like this with how annoying the ai offers can be. Really helpful video. You might have cracked it and might need to try this in my save. If it works on mine and other peoples. this could be a genuine break through in trying to sell players for the price you want
I always accept the highest bid only (or just one of them if there are multiple matching bids), then keep offering out for incrementally more, then rejecting the initially accepted offer once it's been beaten to bring that club back into the bidding war. Repeat until there's no further bidding. Genuinely increased transfer bids by nearly 30 million at times using this strategy.
Also just to make sure once they’ve stopped bidding for more, offer him out for the end bud you’ve accepted there will be a chance more team will come in at the accepted prize and decrease your chance of the player not moving through contract talk breakdowns
I've done this before as well. The issue I run into quite often though, is that the player just won't want to join the team with the best bid.
You can put your player to second team, its increase chance that he accept contract from another team
Great video and mega useful tactic, but I feel like this will only work with a player who a)REALLY REALLY wants to leave and b)has attracted A LOT of interest from many big/bigger clubs. I may be wrong but whenever I offer players out there is never much interest especially if they are

Look at the date. Its July. New budget, just open transfer window.
@@lordwaleane5397 season tickets over 18th June, budgets are in before that. Teams are bidding on other players. Not sure that’s a factor at all.

My tactic is to negotiate and add a huge amount on instalments. I had and offer of 45 for a player, I added 3x12 month instalments totalling 25 million and they accepted. Their offers are often just based on their current budget, not what they would actually pay
i was doing that before even seen this video, but also when someone offer you negotiable money, allways go down of the money and offer 5 international matches, example: they offer me 60mil for raphinha, i go down to 40 + after 5 international 50mil with the lock on yellow, and the offer me in total 99,5mil. amazing. you need a patience as well
Yeah, I do this when there are more clubs interested in my player.. not working everytime, but I did a few great transfers in this way ;)

I'm surprised people didn't know this 🤣, I'm doing this since Fm20. Always reject offer from a high reputation or wealthy club coz they will come back
I am usually really good at contracts. I usually go low. Then I go the same lvl. Then I go 1 up. Then 1 up again. And usually they say yes. Also I remove Release clauses (if possible) bonuses such as playing a game or bench player. Also 10% + wage each year. Then I bribe the agent and give him a big fee. It works lmao

This works great if you have a player other teams wants. Most of the time nobody wants my guys...which probably says a lot about my talent evaluation. LOL
Biggest tip for this method; accept the offer from club you expect not to up their bid
For me what happens is that the clubs don’t bid again after I reject their original bid

Lollujo showed this technique in 21, ans I've been using it ever since. Such a tedious way to get good money, and it requires massive patience. But it works

I’ve done this before and it does work well. You just need multiple teams bidding to play them off against each other as you did there.
I’m my current save with rangers fc I have a home growing defender who has reached his max potential even 5 stars all round and is worth 50 million and Man U are the only team bidding for him for a okay price around 30 million I thought after I won the champion league they would ask for his full value but no now there offering less

Just offer the player on loan then when negotiating switch to transfer not loan when offers come, if the player is really wanted it always works.
I'm a luton fan and this is crazy hahaha. Our record transfer is around a million
I try to do this as much as I can and had some pretty decent results with it. Sadly the AI is stupid in many ways. Small tip: instead of clicking each club in the drop down menu, just use your mousewheel and scroll. Makes your life much easier when there are tons of offers and you want to see the best deal or best facility (if it's loan).
To be fair I did the scroll wheel multiple times in this video

Just tried this on FM20 & I sold one of my strikers for 55 million euros & one defender 50 million euros
Hey Clayts, I just tried it and it seems to work with players who have the interest of multiple clubs. But even then it isn’t always the case of getting it together. I tried a New Ajax save. And for players like Mazraoui & Taylor o could bumb the transfer fee way up. But players like Timber (a wonderkid) & Antony it didn’t work. No major offers & no bidding war. Other players with low interest only get one club after them. So then it is hard to move them for more money.

I stopped playing FM. Because it doesn't make sense anymore. I played with besiktas for 5 seasons, every year champion, CL final in year 4 and CL win in year 5. However my team valuation is ridiculous so i can't continue.
Lucca scores 40-60 goals every year, CL striker of the year and his value is 15M Euro. Szoblai, same thing, 20M euro. Once i sell them, their value is +100M euro. Offers i get are max 30. And if i wanna buy a decent player, not good, it starts from 50-60M. I cannot keep selling my players for pennies and pay x5 for replacements.
Yes league, club status should matter, however CL is global arena and players should be valued for their performance in CL! Game doesn't consider this at all and it's garbage!
Yesterday before I watched the video I offered a 18 year old player (who there was no way he would reach his potential) for 1 mil... A bidding war started and sold his for 7.5 mil... Best exploit if your board doesn't give you cash
This might seem like cheating but what I do is I save the game put the amount I want to sell the player once a team bids usually not the amount I requested I quit it and go back to the save game lower the amount, I usually lower by 5 mil then offer them again most times than not the same team will come back with a non negotiable offer of the amount I requested if they agree on first trial I means you can prolly sell him for more so i do the whole process again but I increase the amount requested this time, I used this to sell martial to Liverpool 65 at 3 stars and also Telles to Barca 50 de get to Chelsea for 40, and Maguire to psg for 40 , lingered to spurs for 20 also and Gallagher to Liverpool for 70

And now try it with a non-prem club. This technique only works, because you have players who are capable to go to clubs, which more importantly have money.

I've never had this problem at all in my save personally. I could even sell a play valued at 30m for 73m€. Idk if it's because i play in the Greek league or anything, but idk i always get offers that are wayyyyyyy beyond the player's value
are they players you want to sell or your star wonderkids who are tearing up europe? A club will have to overpay for a star player youlikely plan to keep etc
@@TheDominicProject Actually my wonderkid that is 160 rated at only 20yo didnt receive any offers. The ones that get offers aren't really stars, but mostly players around 25-26yo that aren't really world class.
Because you play in the Greek league, your players value won’t necessarily reflect their ability - they’d be worth a lot more playing for bigger clubs - therefore teams will be happy to pay over their value a lot of the time
