- As youve heard, responding to station for a single vehcile MVA with roll over. Would have continued down the interstate but saw the traffic and didnt know what was on the other side.
Idk why but this POV responding stuff is really cool to watch
I get like a primal satisfaction from seeing people yield to somebody that's trying to help. It frustrates me in a way that scares me when people inhibit due to incompetence or vanity.
Right
Ikr!
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Valentin Leonel Instablaster =)
I am in the process of becoming a Vol FF and I really appreciate your POV response videos because it gives me a chance to see how other drivers react among other things. Like the cars that pulled off left creating a hazard for themselves as they probably tried to remerge with traffic. SMH
Yo same rn. I got to call for my physical and
Psychological
Nice you have a Howler! That's rare on a POV.
It makes my hair stand on end, when I see how some people react (if they do at all) to a responding vehicle in the states.. :D
Loved the siren usage! Really enjoyed this one!
I wish Oklahoma would let our firefighters respond like this, instead we have to go the speed limit and can only use whites or yellows.
J C here in Chile we can only use White strobes ☹️ red is used by Carabiniers, Blue is used by investigations police, Green must be used on gendarmerie and Yellow is used in other institutions like garbage trucks, mining trucks/vehicles, government institutions, among others.
Do you guys have speed restrictions or are you one of the lucky departments that have drivers discretion?
I know it is two years past the fact but, He is the fire chief of a private volunteer fire company out of a set area in Kentucky. He is exempt of all traffic law with the exception of having due regard when responding. There is some department policy's such as "Can't pass on the right unless no other viable route". I hope that keeps you informed on his responses, although 2 years late.
@@midwestfire I don’t believe he is the Cheif
@@keithherbst8442 He is, I have friends that know him personally. He also covered his position and the agency in a later video that is now about 2 months old.
Nice. Video,is that rain x your using on your front window?
What were the corner lights in the lower window?
OMG THE RUMBLER IS AMAZING!
Out of curiosity why did you wait till 6 minutes after activating lights and sirens to run code till you radioed into dispatch that you where “on the air” otherwise known as being 10/8 under Standardized 10 Codes ?? Yes I put standardized 10 codes because some departments , cities, counties and states run what’s called Regional 10 codes. Commonly heard out on Eastern Seaboard and down South.
Great video!
awesome video love you siren sounds like you have a rumbler too
best video period
What happen to the powercall siren?
What dash cam do you use?
What siren are you u using
Awesome video loved the sirens love how they take there time pulling over move idiots enjoy your day n always be safe 🚒
Do you have Rain X on your windshield?
Eli Jackson I'm wondering that too
Very nice
Did he ever make it?
awesome how you can roll code down the highway what state is this?here in california the fire dept cnnot rool code on the freeways
Kentucky
That's because California sucks in every single way.
Says people who've never been to California.
@@rgus8884 But it does..
@@rgus8884 ive been there, cali is awesome in the north. In the south all city and shity.
Got an call that we got canceled to. Exploded transformer.
Why is it so hard for people to move to the right and stop when they see emergency vehicles or at least pull to the right in general especially on the freeway
Matthew Ives When they see the Police they get scared
Because black people don’t like to be courteous
What state you live in?
Every New Jersey Firefighters dream to have a siren in their pov. I hate responding to calls and people just keep driving and slow down and stop in the middle of the street. Believe it or not New Jersey only allows volunteer firefighters to have blue led emergency warning lights and a air horn, but no siren and people don't pull over. It's aggravating
What type of car is your Fire POV?
2005 ford five hundred
does he have a rumbler or is this just the audio quality?
I have a rumbler lol
how is this "ringing" called? i dont mean the wail, yelp, priority or the rumbler. greets from germany (i hate our "martin-horn")
You probably mean the sweep tone.
What states this in?
Lebanon Junction, Ky
What kind of camera do you have?
It's made by Rexing. V1P I believe
You a the chief or chief assistant
Why are people pulling over to the left lol
Is that a delta? I love the sound.
It's the new FS SS3000.. comes with the Touchmaster tones.
Good ole not so smart siren lol.
It looks like only half of your lights are on, are they a different color for something else?
Just the way the lights are reflecting. All work perfecr!
@@ep-ou7sc oh
Well well well. We meet again.
@@Excitingless I'm sorry?
Wow that siren has all the whacker features on it....I bet your FD Tshirt collection is impressive also....."I fight what you fear".....amIrite?
Lol your dead fucking wrong dude. Not a "T shirt" wearer.
911ep500 just mad bc you got shown up
@@GradyPlaysGuitar 😂😂😂 ok asshole
What's wrong with having extra "features" on your siren?
So having a siren with more then 1 tone and having more then 1 light makes you a whacker? probably just mad because you can't right sirens where you are.
Is that a touch master delta
Federal Signal Smart siren platinum
Solid yelow... law is move right.... idiots move left
Jim Herbert Outdoors it’s a start lol most don’t do anything
You are going a long way to go to the station to go on the truck.
I was on my way home from work
That was kind stupid run.
@@jamesalbanese8266 how
They called you out, then you stand down on the call.
@@jamesalbanese8266 could have been recalled. Depends on what rank he is
Were some of your lights not working?
They were all working! Just couldn't see the reflection like at night
Looks like the left one on the dash isnt working, you can very clearly see the flash back on the right one
Maybe incredibly faint, maybe a low power issue
Camera angle plus daytime. Not going to get a ton of flashback.
There he’s going he’s a little late
What fire dept is this
Lebanon Junction Fire Dept.
Ok, who da F taught people to move left when a Emergency Vehicle approaches? Yes people a Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) is Ofically an Emergency Servoces Vehicle once the Light and Sorens are activated. If the vehicle is NOT equipped with a Siren then the lights become “Courtesy” light. He is running lights and sirens also referred to as Code 3, you need to Move to the Right!
Just wondering, why would you drive that far with lights and sirens down the highway for an unknown injury accident? Just causing panic to the other drivers.
An unknown injury accident can still be an injury accident. Delaying a response for a possible injury accident that someone cleared called in, is like calling the police for a possible armed robbery and the police taking their time. A life could be a risk. That's why we we're called
911ep500 I understand know thanks for the explanation!
What state is this that your allowed to put red lights and sirens on your personal car
kentucky allows red and white with a siren
there's other states that do too but that's the only one i'm sure on
Michigan allows red/white/Amber with siren on POV
IN allows blue/white with siren
I'm a Arkansas voluntary and we do red and white but Arkansas state law we have to have a sirens to even have lights on our pov
In NH, volunteer FFs and EMTs use red and white lights to respond to calls. We are required to have sirens on our POVs if we want to run red lights, stop signs, ect.
They ALWAYS apply the brakes, every damn time!
I have a question for you @911ep500
Ken Barnhart you watch 911
I have family doing this to.
Take the siren away from the kids because they don't know how to use it.
The author is actually the cief of his department, based on the info on some comments.
This dude need a modern day EVOC course, drives like he stole something. But poorly overtakes. Offense not defense
K
Thats highly illegal regardless if your a firefighter or not and operating red lights and sirens in your personal car.
In the state of KY it's 110% legal. Maybe not in your state but it does and mine. Every state is different. Why do you think I've been doing it for the last 7 years?
