I suggest to saute or semi-half cook the pork filling first before stuffing into the peppers to ensure that the pork will be evenly and thoroughly cooked before the wrapper turns crispy.
My favorite Dynamite has no meat, just green chili pepper (siling haba) and cheese. It's more like a snack than a meal. The cheese melts when you fry it and really complements the spice and slight bitterness from the pepper. I hope you get to try it one day, even without having to make a video on it 😊😊
Ukoy. Its like vegetable okonomiyaki or vegetable karaage. It has a shrimp version too. Then we use cane vinegar with cucumber, red chilis and red onion as a dipping sauce.
Hope you can make Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso in the future. It's one of my favorite dishes and is a great example of the blend of Filipino and Japanese flavors.
Yes, Indeed. I think it became one of our new signature dish when it got popular in the Philippines like at least a decade ago. Personally it is much tastier than pork sinigang. Probably cause the salmon/miso combination has much more stronger flavor than the original recipe.
being a filipino i really love the way you cook, very simple and you know how to follow instructions well.. sadly i would love to see your faces, you and your wife's.. 😊
I always made this for my son for his snack. Lumpiang shanghai mix, cheese , and one clove of garlic in a banana chilie. Wrapped in a lumpia wrapper. Dipping sauces are either Bangkok sambal, ketchup, vinegar, or soy and vinegar
Hello Hiro! Your version of Dynamite looks amazing! Hope you try it out with cheese inside as well for the ones you have frozen :) I can't wait for the next Filipino Dish you will recreate. I'm so happy you and your wife enjoy the foods we grew up with :) I hope you explore more of Filipino cuisine in the future and hopefully you and your wife can also experience Filipino food here in the Philippines :)
My version of the filling is just ground beef, onions, garlic, raisins, carrots & quick melt cheese. Saute the the beef with onion & garlic. Set aside & let it cool once done. Shred carrots & cheese & mix with beef together with raisins then stuff it in chillies. For the dipping sauce just combine ketchup & mayonnaise
Really looks so yummy! 😍 made me feel hungry 🤭❤️ if you add the cheese inside and fry it, it's gonna melt and it will taste really delicious once you bite into it 😍 by the way... i love what's written on your shirt, 'Mmm oishii!'😊👍
You forgotbthe other main ingredient which is cheese. Dynamite is usually cheese wrapped in chili pepper and lumpia wrapper. Adding ground pork is optional.
Adding a slice of cheese will enhance the flavor of the dynamite . Actually it gives it the twist. Try making it again with cheese and taste the difference!
Not sure if anyone else has brought this up in past vids, but if you can find them, try using red onions when cooking filipino food. They're the ones more commonly used here.
Definitely a must for a Filipino Food. Hopefully u can also make "Kwek-Kwek" a famous street food here made from Quail Eggs. There is also a bigger variety of it made frok Chicken Eggs called "Tukneneng". Any sauce or dips will do💤💙
Ultimate dynamite is using a spicy chili pepper (shishito is too mild hehe) filled with meat and a slice of cheese before wrapped in spring roll wrapper. Yum! Can be dipped in mayo ketchup mixture. I personally cook my meat so it's sure to be cooked well especially you will include a slice a cheese since you won't be cooking it too long. Try with cheese it is super good! Can't wait for your next videos ♡
wish you can cook it again even without video, putting the cheese inside is a different experience it is so much better, and for the sauce try the mayonnaise mix with ketchup, that's the perfect sauce for it
How did I miss this? Keep jiggling those thumbs 👍👍👍 Mrs. Hiro-san! 😁 Arigato Gozaimasu! For featuring the Dynamite! It's better with cheddar and mozzarella cheese though! Umai!❤
My husband and I made this last weekend. And we talked about your videos, too! What a coincidence for this specific video to be posted just a day after. Really loving your videos! Excited for the next ones ^^,
What an interesting concept and such a simple dish to make. Seems like you've got quite a Filipino fan base. I presuppose more Philippine cuisine to come? Go for it! I'm learning, too. Yum! 👌 ❤ 🇯🇵
There's a lot of Filipino dish made in this channel. Highly recommend you watch the Lumpiang Shanghai (Filipino Spring rolls) and adobo they made if you like simple dishes.
@@Sooooyaaaaaaaaa Adobo and Lumpiang Shanghai are, I suppose, some of the quintessential Philippine cuisine. I see Hiro has done quite an amazing job of trying out those (savory delicious) dishes. 👌 😊 🇵🇭
Shishito peppers are sweet not spicy. It should be spicy or hot hence the name dynamite. There is a pepper in Spain similar to Shishito which is called pimentos de Padron and I love them when Spanish fries them in olive oil and serve as tapas. Shishito is available in Philippines and i will try to prepare them Spain’s way.
That is best paired with avocado shake. Please make it soon 😅 It's hard to find green chili peppers in tokyo but i can only find them in one of the stores near me.
One of my fave in Jollibee is their burger steak. Excited for this! Can you teach us how to make miso soup with tofu and sukiyaki? What other soups do Japanese have that they usually cook at home?
Shishito peppers are not as spicy or hot as the long green peppers used in the Philippines but I think your version is delicious as well. Your wife is right. You can't go wrong with lumpia. Keep it up Hiro and wife. Gambatte kudasai!
Just woke up from an afternoon nap to find you uploaded haha Yeah one thing to say it is to chunky but then again you didn't have the long green chili But a yeah other than that nothing else to say since we are going to cook this in school in one of our subject so this can be a reference thx
You make every dishes really easy to follow and what I love the most is that the simplicity and cleanliness of when you cook. As always, your dish is amazing. Waiting for easy japanese food series too 😍🫶💜
I don't really enjoy spicy food so I usually skip this when it's on the menu, haha. You did well tho! I recommend trying Gulaman, which is a Filipino drink. It's THE go-to beverage for our streetfood.
10/10 😁 1000/10 if you put cheese before frying... the melted cheese inside is the bomb... hehe... btw... have you heard about filipino desert called karyoka... its like mochi covered with sugar glaze but the cooking procedure is different... you should try that and compare 😁
Hiro-San, if I can make a suggestion for a new dish for you to make in the future. I think bistek is something you can easily make and you will love it too.

Wow dynamite is amazing. You could also use ham and cheese as filling too
That sounds delicious 😋
My request are:
KILAWIN, BATCHOY, PAKSIW, PAPAITAN, SEAFOOD SALPICAO,
CHOPSUEY, MONGGO SOUP, SIZZLING SISIG, SIOMAI, AND HALO HALO
While you still have a lot of Spring Roll Wrappers i recommend making Cheese Sticks.
It is like a snack here in the Philippines.
Nice idea!
Hope you can make Sinigang na Salmon sa Miso in the future. It's one of my favorite dishes and is a great example of the blend of Filipino and Japanese flavors.
Will you! It’s on my list!
@@HiroFoodinJapan you forgot to add cheese on the dynamite. meat should cook first before adding it on the chili pepper.

It must be noted that miso is used fresh in PH Cuisine
With radish and camote top leaves or substitute with spinach! Oishi!
Make version 2 with cheese :) Oishi!!!
Great idea!
Use mayonnaise mixed with banana ketchup or regular ketchup for dipping sauce, you can also add cheese with the meat or cheese only....
She always says Oishi everytime she ate. I really like her.
being a filipino i really love the way you cook, very simple and you know how to follow instructions well.. sadly i would love to see your faces, you and your wife's.. 😊

I'll be waiting for that Burger Steak recipe!!

there is the Double Rapid Thumbs Up!!! 😁😁😁
I enjoy watching all of your videos!
Nice name 🤣Thank you so much!
Dynamite lumpia is a popular bar dish. It's good to eat that with beer.
Or you can just eat it with rice like what you did.
When I hear the background music and see Hiro cooking I feel it completes my weekend. 😂
Great comment! 😁
Highly recommend that to also put cheese alongside the ground meat.

Looks oishi, keep cooking pinoy foods 🇵🇭🇯🇵
Your channel is such an inspiration
I'm glad you both like Filipino dishes
Good to eat in this cold season
Hiro San... try also putting a cheddar, quick melt, or mozzarella cheese inside...
Mayonaise + Ketchup is the best dip for this. you can also add cheese inside

Oh I didn’t know that! Thank you for letting me know!
Can't wait for the Jollibee Burger Steak ala Hiro Food from Japan!
Adding a slice of cheese will enhance the flavor of the dynamite . Actually it gives it the twist. Try making it again with cheese and taste the difference!
I ate dynamite sticks yesterday but it's cheese dynamite. It's yummy as well.
Not sure if anyone else has brought this up in past vids, but if you can find them, try using red onions when cooking filipino food. They're the ones more commonly used here.
Its rare to see a red onion in japan, They have big ole white onion which is better than our small onion.
You should try put cheese. Its yummy and creamy.
subscribed for you. Nice Filipino food. Thanks for cooking our lumpia
Welcome to my channel!
Definitely a must for a Filipino Food. Hopefully u can also make "Kwek-Kwek" a famous street food here made from Quail Eggs. There is also a bigger variety of it made frok Chicken Eggs called "Tukneneng". Any sauce or dips will do💤💙

I hope you can try making it again with melted cheese inside. It's a different mouthfeel which elevates the dish. ✌️
How did I miss this?
Keep jiggling those thumbs 👍👍👍 Mrs. Hiro-san! 😁
Arigato Gozaimasu! For featuring the Dynamite! It's better with cheddar and mozzarella cheese though! Umai!❤
Yes cheese is a PLUS factor in making Dynamite Lumpia...

Nice video. Btw you can use shishito for dynamite.

You should remake this for future promotion of a liquor 😆❤️ it is best paired with it. We called it 'pulutan'.
That looks soooo good. Now I wanna make some 😂
Thank you! You should make some 😄
Great Job 👍👍
ham and cheese is also one of the famous feeling of dynamite here in the Philippines and we dip it in mixed mayo and banana ketchup😅

Please cook Creamy Macaroni Sopas
Hiro, try to cook Creamy (Macaroni) SOPAS. So reference try to watch Chef RV or SIMPOL. 😊😊😊
That is best paired with avocado shake. Please make it soon 😅
It's hard to find green chili peppers in tokyo but i can only find them in one of the stores near me.
Avocado shake sounds delicious 😋
One of my fave in Jollibee is their burger steak. Excited for this!
Can you teach us how to make miso soup with tofu and sukiyaki? What other soups do Japanese have that they usually cook at home?
Miso soup is the most popular one. But we also make egg soup, vegetable soup, Chinese soup, etc. 🥣
Dynmaite with pork and cheese is the best!
Wow hiro sama those dynamite sure looks good i put a bit of cheese sometime when i cook this.
You forgot to put cheese! Its a nice contrast to the spiciness of the dish
this is no dynamite.. this is bakudan.. great job hiro san
Hope you can try balbacua( cow skin soup)
U shouldve made a dip with the mixture of banana ketchup and mayonaise
Shishito peppers are not as spicy or hot as the long green peppers used in the Philippines but I think your version is delicious as well. Your wife is right. You can't go wrong with lumpia. Keep it up Hiro and wife. Gambatte kudasai!

Love the vid sir Hiro! Could you teach us some good food using tofu?
Looks good! 🤤
Wow big peper it is spicy?👍👏👏👏
Actually some are spicy and some are not 👍
It's good, try to add cheese on it, love this video.
Thank you so much!
I don't really enjoy spicy food so I usually skip this when it's on the menu, haha. You did well tho!
I recommend trying Gulaman, which is a Filipino drink. It's THE go-to beverage for our streetfood.
Please try to cook the Filipino maja blanca. Its kind of like a pudding.
i forgot about the dynamite because of that "mmm! oishi!" tshirt you got there
Try adding a cheese next time, it'll be super duper oishi
Will do 🫡
You can start a filipino restaurant. Im sure you will do excellent.
We use green chili, not green pepper for dynamite. Ideally, the roll should only around the thickness of a finger
10/10 😁 1000/10 if you put cheese before frying... the melted cheese inside is the bomb... hehe... btw... have you heard about filipino desert called karyoka... its like mochi covered with sugar glaze but the cooking procedure is different... you should try that and compare 😁
Next time cook arroz caldo (chicken rice porridge)
Looks delicious as always 🤤
Thank you so much!
looks yummy!!! could have been better with cheese though
The cheese is important.
Hiro-San, if I can make a suggestion for a new dish for you to make in the future. I think bistek is something you can easily make and you will love it too.
Cute you tried to add cheese after the fact. hahaha.
Cheese is the second main ingredient of dynamite next to Chili. It would be sad if there is no cheese 😔
You forgot to put cheese. ☺️
But still delicious 😋
It was still delicious 😋
Put some cheese inside the green pepper with the meat and wrap it.
Yummy.
Actually… You can cook it with cheese inside… its much better :)
Put a stick of cheese inside along with the meat itll be much more awesome! I mean delicious hahahaha also try dipping it in a ketchup mayo mixture
