Hey bro you might want to check with your states local code. Usually you need to run CL3 rated in wall speaker wires to your outlet box.
What is the reasoning for CL3 rating?
Just use firehoods and seal them.

My thoughts too, I wish someone did a comparison of speaker sound without box, vs with box, does it really improve the quality noticeably?
@@sabresys45 my primary objective was to isolate sound from the upstairs bedroom level. Now that the system is operational it has accomplished that goal.
