  • In this video I show you how to code your car to have your gauge cluster back light on at all times.
We are using the INPA software suite to do this. Specifically NCS Expert.
Link to a thread showing how to setup INPA/NCS Expert:
    www.e90post.com/forums/showthr...
If you have Windows 10 64-Bit:

You can find the INPA cable online at places such as Amazon or Ebay. Search INPA Cable K+D Can. When you see the word "affiliate" listed beside any link in my description please know that this is a custom link and I will earn a small commission if you opt to purchase using said link. This is at no extra cost to you so it's a win all around :) Thank you!

Hey man been watching a bunch of your videos recently and built an m3 like cluster like in your videos. I tried to do this same coding to have the backlight always on using bimmercode and it did work however, for some reason when my lights are off the brightness of my cluster is maxed out and when I turn my lights on its drops brightness but the menu to actually adjust the brightness has disappeared

Vehicular DIY I watched your diy on converting the stock cluster to m3 spec. I feel like I could do everything except for the LED lights. Do you or do you know who could do this for me as a service? Thank you for getting back to me

Hey bro how's it going? I kind of understand the concept of coding and how to perform a successful diy on it but what I'm having trouble is finding a source that tells me what to download to get started on coding and where to input the files downloaded to follow your diys. Basically the beginning part coding, do you have any tips thank you

Tony Mendoza Hey, have you tried going through the thread in the description? It's pretty detailed and outlines how to setup your laptop.
