Loved the guy on the left, I don’t know why he’s not getting enough credit. His voice was perfect for the song, I’d literally go out of my way to buy an album of his covering Sinatra songs.
Nice. I'm just going to say that Alexander Wolff ( on the left ) pulled that off very well. His singing voice sounded a lot like Elvis Presley. I'd bet that Elvis was a huge inspiration to him. =)
I agree the blue shirt guy did do it far better however, both of them did add unnecessary vibrato. It is just that the black shirt guy added way too much while the blue shirt guy added enough to make it seem like his own style.
Only half of this did Frank Sinatra proud... Sadly, we all knowWOOEEWWEEAAAAA which half it wasn't. Truly, I personally am forever proud of the people who sing this in a CLASSICAL way.
This man with the black suit was so bad that i almost broke my hand punching my wall. The man with blue suit won not because he is good, but because the other one was so terrible that i almost get suicidal. Rly
For what is a maäaäaäaääaäaäaääaäaäaäaääan, what has he got?"
Frank Sinatra is a legend and if anyone tried changing the music it just sounds wrong.....The guy that started singing has a good voice but not good for this type of song....Hes good for like pop or maybe even punk rock...the guy in the blue on thee other hand has an Elvis like Voice which i truly loved and his voice sounds a lot better with this song.... and to the Person offended by this comment I really don't care.... music is an art. In art you can't mix water colors with oil paintings this is exactly how it was....
The guy in blue made it more classical in his own version. His voice too is strong and sensible to the lyrics of the song. Nevertheless, both showed a good battle of their performance.
The mere fact that both are singing Sinatra is already a great tribute to the great legend himself. I am just so happy that these young people could appreciate such great songs, no matter what they do with it.
Verdient gewonnen!
I think its very ironic that so many people criticize the cover of a song called “My Way“ because the two guys didn't copy Sinatra and did it “their way“. Its not awful just because they don't sound like Sinatra. I think its still very good
Matthias Wynands No. Whatever the song is, you should leave the feel and message of the song in there. The lad in the black suit didnt do that. He kept doing stupid adlibs that took away from the meaning and emotion of the song.
Jellesn both of you are wrong. There is nothing inherently wrong with singing any song differently than the original. And just because the song is "My Way" doesn't mean your personal way of singing the song is a GOOD way. With this song, it's going to sound best singing it in a belting style that is closer to the original. These dudes just simply don't have the voices/understanding for this song. They butchered it
THIS PERFORMANCE IS BEAUTIFUL i think both did a really good job in singing this song. I don't know why most are hating the black-suit man, or maybe people's preferences are different. For me he just sounds wonderful. The blue-suit sings it resembling Elvis Presley way, and the black-suit man sang it with his own style. Their sings resonating different feeling, awesome to see how both contradicting ways blend together :)
And now the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I've travelled each and every highway and more, much more than this I did it my way Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all And I stood tall And did it my way To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way "Oh no, oh no, not me I did it my way" For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself then he has naught To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows And did it my way
I got goosebumps hearing the guy in the blue suit. They both made great harmony, but the guy in the black suit ruined it. He (the guy in black suit) made me cringe a little at the beginning. I really wish I could sound like the one in the blue suit though (I'm getting there but not quite yet). :/
And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I've traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway And more, much more than this I did it my way Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall And did it my way I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now, as tears subside I find it all, all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way Oh no, no, not me I did it my way For what is man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows And did it my way And did it my way
Wasn't crazy about this but they weren't flat as Frank always was. Never understood why people thought he did such a good job on that song. I think it was more about how he lived rather than how the song was sung.
The black jacket guy sang for like 90 seconds and did 19 runs! Virtually every line. They both have great voices but the one dude just tried a bit too hard. The blue coat one was great and I'd love to hear him cover the song himself
You guys were both amazing doing this song. To me, you’re both winners. You should have both made it all the way. No matter what, after all of the competition is over, you two should form a duet dual, and perform as a team. You are both amazing. Love both of your voices
I like both version, both of them sung it very well. The guy in the purple suit keep it original while the other guy sung it in his own way, which make the song sounds interesting and fresh. But, I honestly feel like for this song, it is better to keep it sounds as it is without too much of improvisation. I honestly don’t know who to choose if I were their coach.
I've watched this 5 years ago. I was making fun of the guy on the right, but now that I've watched it again, it got so much better. I can't stop replaying it now. They both did excellent.
Guy on the right was not bad... everyone is saying he sounded bad, they both sounded good! Guy on the left sang it more traditional, guy on the right sang it more modern
but for real though why the guy in the black be adding unnecessary adlibs to the song 😂😭💀 from the beginning and when they were closing/finishing up the song his range was so unstable compared to the guy in blue
I’m so sorry for the guy on the right; he did the ‘Mariah Carey’ version with too many ad libs. Less is more darling so the twelve points go to the guy on the left 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
0:18 I love how the Judge shook his head when he heard the curtain part. Lol. Priceless
Oh yeah, that's a nod of disapproval for those who may feel confused.
@Garreth Its lol.
I also like this part.
Priceless... And so I face that final curtaiNWOOOOOEEEEWEEEEEAAA
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"and the naoooooon the end is neaaar and so i face that final curtainWOOOOEWAEEEE" i lost it at that point
on the other hand, he played the song in a very traditional manner
scrolled down to find this comment... thx for expressing it
i realize I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Christopher Rene meh lately I have been using Flixportal. just search on google for it=) -joziah
@Joziah Jesse thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it !!
That sound after "final curtain" ruined it. You can even see that judge's face of disapproval
kakol20 :18
I heard he won in the end anyway 😒
he did it his way....and failed
🤣🤣
it was awful lmao
The one on the left sang it more traditional and the right guy over exaggerated the song and sounded awful
I liked another guy (right side) he sings better beyond he doesn't follow the kind of the music
Eduardo Matias Cardozo He yodeled too much and over exaggerated.
Patrick Star I didn't know who won
@@eduardomatiascardozo720 STFU
Amen
.... And so i face that final curtaiNWOOOOOEEEEWEEEEEAAA
I KNOWWW he was so extra. it's unfortunate because it was sounding so good until that
Alicia Blackowiak 😅
I have been laughing for 10mins straight... ThanNWOOOOONEEEEEYAAAAA
i laugh hard.. hahahahjahhaha
hahahahaha #dead
Loved the guy on the left, I don’t know why he’s not getting enough credit. His voice was perfect for the song, I’d literally go out of my way to buy an album of his covering Sinatra songs.
See what you did there hahaha
Same here
A voz do da direita tem mais pontos diferenciais
Когда парень в синем костюме начинает петь, мурашки прям 🤩🤗🎉
The fact that you would "go out of your way" is enough to know you want to give him the participation trophy.
There is a point where the voice yodeling gets to be too much. This is a good example.
sorry but 0:18 immediately made me support the second contestant no question asked
Got a suicidal feeling when I heard that "final curtain" part.
Me too😂😂
no bs tho i hope you're ok my brother
Me too
Yeah me too. And for myself I think he just ruined one of the best music in history.
*I like the guy in the blue. He has the "old soul" and good color of the voice prefectly suiting this sing.*
The guy in the black suit be doing to much!! It got pretty annoying.
😂😂😂
So true he can't doing justice for this song ..
That's runs ruin this song so much
That's why i hate those covers. They just try too much without any reason. Just sing the way it is. First guy was warping too much. Annoying jerk.
Can't blame the singers. They are all amateurs. The judges should give these guys the boot. Within the first bloody minute
Anyone:
The guy of the rigth: MyYyyY WAaaEaEaAAe
😂😂😂😂 good my way is a song not aiiaaiiiaaee😢😂
Nice. I'm just going to say that Alexander Wolff ( on the left ) pulled that off very well. His singing voice sounded a lot like Elvis Presley. I'd bet that Elvis was a huge inspiration to him. =)
the line at 1:42 sounded the way Elvis sang his "say"s
I share my version

i prefer that one on the purple suit. Alexander Wolff? He delivered the song so beautiful. Goosebumps everywhere. And imho the other guy overdoing it.
You got it backwards friend. Wolff was the one over doing it
@@imunknown9003 no man, Wollf was doing pretty good
I actually thought the guy in the blue did really well. Unpopular opinion I suppose :P
The opinion is not unpopular. The dude in the black suit was a douche.
I think they both did a fantastic job. Sure, they didn’t sound exactly like Frank, but I think that makes it better. They added their own style to it.
I hope the blue guy wins
I agree the blue shirt guy did do it far better however, both of them did add unnecessary vibrato. It is just that the black shirt guy added way too much while the blue shirt guy added enough to make it seem like his own style.
@@georgefrederickromasanta6446 He did not, some chick named Jamie-Lee Kriewitz won. Idk how, Alexander's voice can cause eargasms and hers is basic.
0:18 I almost puked. Get that shit away from a Sinatra song!
Max Patrick Thuesen hahahahhahahahahhagahaha
Right
Wtf was he was thinking
Max Patrick Thuesen It's not Sinatra's song
@Pedro Jz wrong it was made and dedicated to him
Agreed.

The one to the right is horrible. making a wailsoup out of a great song. shame on him. Left one is better.
carinaejag the two singers are horrible to sing that masterpiece. Frank may be crying for this trash they made
thats wat i said
Yeah exactly, my problem with singers thinking they need to do that stupid thing.
carinaejag u probably cant even sing lol
Dude, you forgot this song is called My Way, and they were just doing their way.
This man with the black suit was so bad that i almost broke my hand punching my wall. The man with blue suit won not because he is good, but because the other one was so terrible that i almost get suicidal. Rly
