The opening scene takes place in another dimension where Mark sided with Omni Man to conquer Earth for Viltrum, Rex died so Rudy never made a clone body for himself, & this Mark & Eve had dated but he didn't want to kill her since he still cared for her.
I think it's safe to assume that the original Mauler died a long time ago & the clones just keep cloning themselves, though this does beg the question why Mauler doesn't make a handful of clones instead of just 1 at a time?

"Bulletproof" was actually one of the original names that Robert Kirkman (creator of Invincible) considered for Mark before settling on Invincible. As for Bulletproof's costume, you can see actually see it in Season 1 when Mark is trying on different costumes that Art made.
I think if I had one nitpick about Angstrom Levy's design its that his comic appearance had more of his brain exposed without skin covering it and considering how much gore the show has I'm surprised they dialed it back. Otherwise, I like what the show has done with Levy (i.e., getting Sterling K. Brown to voice him!), he's one of a few characters I've been most looking forward to seeing on the show!
i think the gore on his character model would be too much work replicating every time. They might add more detail in big moments and shots like they do with the fights.

Rudy already had his body by the time Mark and Nolan fought though, so I wonder what changed.
@@iansrife5107 Did you assume everything happened the exact same up until like episode 8? in infinity universes Mark could have learned and embraced the viltrum side since episode 1 or way before episode 1 of season 1

@@iansrife5107: Minor spoiler warning: There's a fan theory that the main universe Mark got his powers so much later in life compared to the multiple versions of himself from other dimensions. While our Mark spent 17 years being raised as a normal human, other Marks could have gotten their powers when they were say 5 to 10, so they were raised to support the Viltrum conquest plans & help Omni Man whereas our Mark disagreed with Omni Man & fought him since he didn't share the upbringing those Marks had.

The first 4 episodes are kinda of all over the place because of soo many story lines but they are all amazing. I can’t wait for part 2 of the season
