GC2020 Press Conference: General Commission on the Status and Role of Women

The General Commission on the Status and Role of Women announced that General Secretary Dawn Wiggins Hare is available for questions regarding events and legislation impacting the agency.
Hare introduced the Interagency Sexual Ethics Task Force's code of conduct and the devotionals associated with each element of the code. Hare also announced information about the Service of Lament, Confession, and Hope held on April 29.
Finally, Hare discussed the presentation of changes to Paragraph 4, which address the inclusion of gender within the reasons for which people cannot be denied membership into the local church.
