i do notice a difference - but its down to personal preference - for me i like the comica - to me its a slightly more natural sound, the dji is a little too bassy! but not by much, i like them both but the dji is waaaaaay out of my price range. if i had bought the comicas i would be happy . one small question, can you wire a lav mic into the unit instead of having a box dragging down our shirts! ? :)
i didnt know the easy ability of wireless mics into the dji. i have the saramonic and rode go ii wireless mic sets. i just want to cut down as much editing as possible so direct audio input is so important to me

The sounds was surprisingly clear and even from that far too (I don’t foresee any situation where anyone would need to be that far from the camera, but it’s good to know I can). I didn’t even notice much of that noise you were walking by until you mentioned it (I did hear a background sound, but what I mean is that it wasn’t disruptive to your voice)
i may sell my saramonic and pick these up. i only love my saramonic so much because of the screens AND the headphone out ability. but since they dont record i always get worried lol
DJI has more warmth with pronounced mids. Comica sounds good. It will just depend on the individuals voice. I’m afraid if ya drop the comica, that puppy is gonna break. Already dropped my transmitter a few times and it’s just built solid. Great review!❤️🤙🏼
@@ItzSKYVlogs sadly the DJI sounds shrill to me. And that is the high range of the mic. Most people boost the bass, as DJI does too. But the high tones are out of whack, as in, there are some high frequencies that are too loud. That doesn't agree with my ears. Thus I would prefer the Comica.
As for the mic comparison: listening to the comica sound vs the dji sound the comica’s let more of the background sound through, while on the dji mics less of the background noise is present, or at least with less bass sound on the background noise - been listening to this on high quality video on phone with a sony wireless headset with active noise cancellation on, so sound detail is pretty good - so the voice isolation on the dji’s feel juuuuust a hair more effective than on the comica’s :)
These Comica seem like a great value. If you can't afford anything else, get these. To me, the mics sounded a little "throaty", like, real mid-range, and not very dynamic. But, if no one knew any better, and these were the only ones available, they would be happy with the Comica. Great video!

Too me they seem to clip a little (on an iPhone, not really fair to use while audio checkin, but the DJI did not have this issue in this vid). But that could also just be an “output” setting on the unit. However, for about €150,- less (€119,- is the price for the single Mic option), it’s a great way to start upping your (Wireless) audio game. Cause once you go Wireless, you never go back. It’ll bring the extra sauce in your footage for real!
It being hard to check if things are peaking is actually a good point in a review - plus for something on the mic visually to check for peaking - but if you are recording on a cam with a flipscreen, or using a phone to record, at least apps for phones like beastcam and filmic have on screen display of audio levels? and the flippy screen on sony’s also have an option to show audiolevels don’t they?
The way I use the DJI is to plug lapel mics into the mics them and then record directly to the mics. Can the comica do either of these things? I use the dji when I have a bunch of people I want micd up and I want everyone to have their audio recorded separately

As far as the DJI V Comica comparison I’d say the difference was negligible. Both sounded pretty good, not much between them at all.
