So basically what I’m getting from the video is if you want to make bulk buy the big one, if you want just a quick cup of juice then get the black and decker. I just bought a black and decker juicer for Black Friday similar to the one in the video and it’s not what I thought. I haven’t had any leaking problems with mine but the only problem I have is that it’s simply just not big enough! I want to make one big batch of juice instead of having to make one every day and that’s my conclusion. I’m looking for other juicers now which is how I stumbled across your video, so thanks for the information!!!
Thank you for this comparison I like the fact that you picked two different opposite spectrums totally made sense to me yes it was apples and oranges lol but it was actually good to see everyone feels like it’s worth it to spend the extra
Thank you for the video! It helps a lot. Please don't mind the negative comments. What you did is comparing the performance of the two juicers. I also prefer the B&D. It's very decent for domestic use. Few milliliters of extract is not a huge difference while the B&D juicer is 400w and the other is 1000w.
Really thoughtful of you to point out that Cuisinart has so many different juicers. I think a lot of people would otherwise there are just 1-2, order the wrong one and then be really disappointed. As far as the brush goes, you can always go buy a toothbrush or other soft brush at a craft/hardware/automotive store. For a very tight spot, pick up a children's toothbrush.
It's a weird comparison, but is not really meant to be "fair" they're displaying the capabilities of two different price tiers to help the viewer decide whether is worth spending $250 on one of these, or if they're fine with a relatively simpler one.
Y’all commenters are trolling. It was a fine video, and nice to see the comparison of the two. I’m happy with my Black and Decker I grabbed tonight and this video helped me make my choice.
You're right! Despite us talking about this ad nauseam during the shoot, we left it out of the video! The filters are going to be the most challenging part of the juicer to clean, and this is where you really want a scrub brush like the one that comes with the Breville. Most of the parts except the base that houses the motor on the juicers are machine washable, but even then, you want to soak that filter, get it soapy and scrub like nobody's business! That shredder filter part is comparable on both of these juicers, so there is no advantage between the two except that Breville provides a brush. Though you can pick up a scrub brush for dishes for cheap at most home goods stores. Hope this helps!
Okay I'm brand new to this and everything they throw it in and there's a juice and don't say a word So I have to ask so you simply want orange juice means that you're drinking the skin and everything is that correct cuz that's what it looks like in the video and no one says a word I prefer not drinking at the entire skin of a orange I don't think it tastes good
How's that dude going to pick the cheap one when it was shooting shit all over his shirt and face? That is not what a product is supposed to do, even if it's a "cheap" product.
This review lacks precision in the most important part: efficiency. The weight of raw materials and juice output should be measured to make a fair comparison. I have been using Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juicer for many years. It is slightly more expensive than B&D (in the $60 range) but its performance is a lot closer to Breville than B&D with a larger mouth and 800W motor. In my measurement in its performance to juice apples (my primary application), it can produce about 65% juice from apples by weight. If I put the pulp into a cheesecloth bag and squeeze out the juice from the pulp, I can get 87% liquid from apples.
Omg there’s this masticating juicer I’ve seen on Instagram in the thousands $. That’s crazy! Bye I absolutely hate the taste of cucumbers! I can’t describe it bc I never eat them. Even if I eat something that I am unaware has cucumbers in it, I immediately spit it out bc of the taste
Pete here. I've actually always kind of liked cucumbers... My first memory of them was eating them on the salad I'd get when my family and I would go to eat at Red Lobster. I know some people loathe them, probably like I've never been a fan of broccoli. But I feel like most people can agree that neither of those are as bad as asparagus! lol.
If you're reviewing and item you also need to think about what you're reviewing and point out if there's toxins in the materials of the juicers extractors author coming out of China god-knows-what is in them also BPA and plastic one of the most toxic materials then I feel like I got a real review remember some of us have never used these kind of juicers
You always buy the most premium item all of the time, no matter how certain you are that you'll use it? Not everyone does this. Sometimes folks like to choose a more affordable option when purchasing a new kind of product. That way they get to see whether or not they'll actually get a good amount of use out of it before investing in a more expensive version.

My Black & Decker does not leak and it does not shoot all over the place I’m a beginning juicer person and so far it’s working out for me
Yay!! Getting one tomorrow!!
Nah I just started and it does leak everywhere
Same! No leaking over here

Love you guys for this video. I just purchased a $30 juicer on Amazon and trying to see what to expect.

Are both extractors 400 watts? Because you can’t compare them if one has more power then the other

Hi, can you throw whole or half lemons in either machines? Nobody really is saying it but does Citrus have to be peeled? Thank you. Great video!
If you live in USA, then yes
This was just what I needed to see. Thank you!
Forgot to cover the most important part of a juicer: CLEANUP!! :)

@@slickdeals awesome! Thanks for the detailed info and reply

The cucumber comment is funny bc there was a trend for a little where people were saying if you put sugar on cucumber it tastes like watermelon
It would be more helpful if you made a fair comparison, there are several juicers on the market that are similar to the

Before spending $250 on the Breville, you'd be better off getting the Tribest Shine Slow Juicer for $120 - $150. Slow juicers are where it's at.
How's that dude going to pick the cheap one when it was shooting shit all over his shirt and face? That is not what a product is supposed to do, even if it's a "cheap" product.
Cucumbers and watermelons are actually related so anyone who says they don't taste similar are simply wrong lmfao 😂
Great juicing
I agreed with cucumbers tasting like watermelon but less sweet
This dude reminds me of the kid from Tokyo Drift
Carly is so beautiful.

This is not even a fair comparison. You guys are comparing apples & oranges. You can't be serious. Lol
We're also comparing pineapple, lemons, cucumber and carrots along with a few other items.
@@slickdeals . That's not what I meant at all (Lol). But okay. 🤷🏾♀️

I have them both and I like them the same.
I would not buy any of them. Buy a cold press one. Much quieter and better quality.
hiii, i know this comment is old but do you have one you recommend?
cucumber is 100% sugar free watermelon
poor conclusion, dollar value is nothing. If you buy a product that could last 10 yrs or so then go with the top 1/

This comparison is straight stupid how can you people compare a $ 250 to a $ 40.00 juicer
How can you compare them. Of course the horribly expensive breville will win. Bad,bad comparison. Some people like me can only afford the cheapo one.
