I dont know what I am more excited for all the equipment or your editing!! Hahaha! You're doing big things this year! So happy for your new space! Keep leveling up your business!
Welcome to the DTG World! I've had my Echo2 for two years now and I can share three tips for you: 1 - Getting the machine going in the morning is super fast, a typical Monday morning is just a simple head-clean cycle are you are running at good color almost immediately. 2 - You are going to go through white ink faster than you think. You can dial in all the settings and streamline all the art, but you are still going to use up white faster than you think you are. 3 - Shut Down at the end of the day is way more important than anything else. Shutting down for the weekend is still more important again. Clean everything and then clean it again. Pay the most attention to the parking station, it keeps the print head wet and if it doesn't you are going to need a new print head way too soon ( I speak from experience). Having said that.... I can't wait to see more about the DTF process!
Can I ask your opinion of the Echo2 in terms of reliability? Been trying to decide between the Echo2 and the Epson F2100. Not sure I like how the Echo2 is a mashup of two different machines but as Lee says, the droplet size is way smaller than the Epson.
Thanks a lot man, that's all really good advice. I have a wide format and a lot of the maintenance seems similar so far, but I'm sure I'll find the quirks and differences once I get these running
@@ukprintshop "..Can I ask your opinion of the Echo2 in terms of reliability?" Nearly bulletproof. Keep the machine clean, and pay extra attention to the capping station to keep it clean, and you'll be printing quality stuff for a good long time.
Best DTG on the market for small shops that doesn’t print everyday! I have mine since 2019 and I couldn’t be happier. Tons of print with little ink and daily maintenance takes less than 5 minutes with minimal amounts of cleaning solution. My machine has gone idle for over 2 months (NOT RECOMMEND :p) without any maintenance, no flushes no waste, all I did was a heavy head cleaning and started printing again!
That's great to hear, I don't think any other machines could handle something like that without issues. I can't wait to test it out and see what I can do
I follow your videos since you start in the screen printing world and I so glad to see how your business has grown, congrats! Have an excellent year, Lee!
Man your videos are dope. So honest, real, no bullshitting and I really enjoy it like you were my print buddy from next doors. Keep it up brother!! You‘re doing amazing!
You're an inspiration to us screenprinters, as well as those of us breaking into video. I've been a pro photographer for years (my day job) and a screen printer for less than two. Following you helped me discover a new passion... video. Thanks of for that!!
Welcome to the DTG world! I'm super stoked you get into it to give some good honest information about DTG and it's benefits to print shops. Looking forward to some DTG printing content.
Hey therre, I'm curious what are your thoughts on this DTG printer after having it for a while. Is it worth the investment or would have chosen a differt MFG?
Glad to see you have brought up some of the issues with these machines like the maintenance cycles and the roller for pre treat solution. I'm also very interested to see how it does the DTF and what the quality would be like.
Man so kick ass to see you growing and building your business. Hope 2022 bring you mad gains in your work life and home life. Keep up the great work bro 👍👍
You should've go with Brother GTX Pro (or Pro Bulk if you don't want to shake cartridges every morning). I have the PolyPrint Pretreater Pro and the overspray and the waste is awful. I took it because it was one of the expensive and coolest pretreater on the market, but I regret it now. Viper Preteater - an openbox pretrater has almost 0 overspray. Shultz is also great. Best part of the PolyPrint pretater is the recirculating system which mixes the pretreatment liquid. Welcome to DTG world and good luck!
Congrats on the award! Its awesome to your hard work paying off in other ways. I tried to go to your website but it says it under construction, excited to see what you got going on for the site and to get some more merch. Keep up the great work!

I’ll be interested to see how much your use it, in the UK I think we’re seeing a big decline in DTG sales and more customer buying in transfers or moving across to DTF, love the content though
That's simply because the cost of the equipment isn't accessible to everyone, when the cost of a heat press is. Printing directly onto the shirt will always be a better end product than a transfer
I love your content so much. I have never screen printed but I keep watching. This video however... I own a big DTF shop. We started it as a DTG shop before we knew what we were getting into but over the first year realized DTG has so many issues that we switched over to DTF and have never looked back. @@ukprintshop well.... You have to understand that we started our shop with the intention of being a DTG shop. So we purchased several Freejet 330 TX Plus DTG printers by Omniprint. So we currently are still using the Omniprint DTG printers but printing DTF with them. We are very close to purchasing the powderless DTF printer from Cobra. We have had many conversations with the owner and our rep from Cobra but are still waiting on samples from them.
