Nice to see 3 of the big boys just talking as fans and not taking it too seriously. You can tell you guys play it for fun but also go pro whenever you want. Unlike others who whine about deeps and meta and nothing else matters (gamefaqs community)
LeHyze OMG when I saw that it was an elder dragon for the coral highlands I thought they would add a new boss area for it and that it would be underwater and was so hyped tbh
actually..... in the guiding lands, the river is her weakness in the coral region, she cant spread her water in the water, therefore her shock doesnt explode.
that idea probably wouldn't happen because it is stated somewhere (I don't remember where) that Namielle's "water" is actually just a water like secretion and that it specifically channels the electicity through the water like secretions that it releases not through the water itself
This might come off as a little weird but I kinda just want a new classification of monster; like a carnivorous plant monster (similar to Malboros/Ochus from FF) or a big swarm monster that's just lots of smaller monsters working together.
That doesnt sound too bad A new category would def lead to more interesting designs Watch out though, we dont want Frontier designs They are like name genrators Random
Lynx Fresh yeah we need some new Monster classifications for sure. Hopefully in MHW 2 or the sixth gen or however they do it well get some as well as all the old classes we didn’t get in World
For me, 2 simple things: ability to pause game when doing hunts solo. Second: for those in clans/guilds, to actually have an actual "guild hall" for your crew, where you can meet up & plan, maybe decorate to a small degree (clan/guild symbol, trophies from most important hunts, etc)
@@mattlava Nope. There's a "cheat" on the PS4 version that allows you to mimic pausing the game when doing solo missions, but it's at the risk of screwing up the console.
@@mattlava Pausing was introduced way back, on MH3rd or MHFU (I don't remember exactly which one). Hopefully they'll bring it back for the next MH game.
I mean, yeah they fucked that up real bad, but I don't think the idea itself was to blame so much as the execution. It could've been a good system and I like what they did with some of it, but when you look at the weapons it starts to feel a lot like they were just being lazy.
@@DJFlare84 the worst thing is that for some monsters, let's take Glavenus as an example, some of the designs are like in the older games, e.g. the charge blade. But then other weapon types like the gunlance or the sns just got the lazy "let's stick some skin there and there lmao this looks good :'D" treatment.
I agree my favotite new elder is vaal and namielle so sad that those two dont have a insect glaive original design wich is my main weapon, i mean lesser weapon understandable elder dragon weapon Why??? They have so much potential
I called this on release and people caught up after iceborne. The weapon design is really nice but it's almost stupidly bland compared to previous entries, almost unacceptable how identical every charge blade looks etc. Only drawback of the game i have to say
Seems really small but I realised while playing GU that something I missed considerably in World was the ability to pause the game when playing single player. Number of times in World when I had to stop in the middle of a hunt I'd have to either hide in the Camp or abandon the quest. Would want there to be a fully offline mode like in the older games for when I know I'm not going to be playing with others.
Yes, having to concentrate non-stop for half an hour without any option to pause is annoying. I even heard of some people with small kids who couldnt play MHW at all because of this nonsense.
I miss the days when I was playing the warframe story and always had something to do now I usually just log on every 2 or 3 months and do a survival or something and then drop the game again
Every other warframe player doesnt want to have to wait for them to release that patch then have to wait for them to fix the shit show that is any mh space world.
Back when both the Switch and World were new, I remember reading an interview where the interviewer said something along the lines of "World is super successful and the Switch is super successful. Do you have any intentions of bringing World to the Switch?" Obviously, the answer was "No, the Switch can't run World," but he also said that they were looking to capitalize on the Switch's success and make a MonHun game specifically for it. I've been waiting patiently ever since.
@@dipstain9703 Gen Ult is a 3DS game that got ported to the Switch. It wasn't made specifically for the Switch like they were saying they wanted to do.
@@vivid8979 And yet it still hasn't happened and the aging hardware of the Switch will be flushed out of relevance come next gen so a revision or new console is very likely. I doubt we'll see a Nintendo MH until the next Switch. I was hopeful too, but after years of waiting without a single teaser or announcement I've moved onto reality. It's not happening, especially with the world struggling so hard right now.
@@HystericalHuntress Meh. Why do everyone thinks the New Gen will kill the switch. Lol. What does next gen offer that ps4 and Xbox one os not offering already? Unless it's another hybrid console then it will be a direct competition for switch but if it's just another powerful console then nope.. Agree with you wih the 2nd paragraph.. I'm actually hoping by this july a teaser must be released already since it's been a long time already since the Group that made MHW.. Who is supposedly working by now for the new Switch MH..
THE ULTIMATE CROSSOVER OF MH CHANNELS I LITERALLY WATCH ALL THREE OF YOU GUYS "I Never knew i needed something so much in my life, until i recieved it" -Vegeta Abridged
6:55 : I feel like The Guiding Lands provides some good insight into the plans and ideas that they have for the future for Monster Hunter, kind of like what was discussed here the the step in removing the loading screens in the maps themselves, and hoping to make a larger open world. The Guiding Lands is kind of like a small tech demo for this concept, and it seems to have been recieved well -- Now they just need to figure out how to scale it up to encompass larger areas, along with integrating hub towns seamlessly.
For Josh specifically: There is Teppen that's a card game but it is more so Capcom franchise based with series such as Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, etc.
A true open world MH that can travel through multiple remade areas of the older games. Traversing from village to village, surviving for a few days out on a travel/ type of expedition. Which could lead to some exciting night time gameplay (rest/cook/keep traveling in the dark) it could open up to some new type of monsters that prey in the night. There can be some really neat changes but they hold the traditional way close to heart and that's not a bad thing, but a new formula wouldn't hurt to try out ;)
Oh watching the trailers and that in the background reminds me: MHWorld REALLY lacks a map that is or contains some old ruins, those maps were always the coolest imo (also elders recess is just meh)
Toreole a lore influenced game with a real plot would blow everyone away because really MH already had incredible gameplay. So by adding a story with intense depth the game would be a MASSIVE hit tbh I'm surprised they haven't done it already (I still have a soft spot for the silly story tbh)
Elder's Recess is meh because is basically a prettier version of the Mountain map in MHFU. It just having extra Enrgy Crystals and nothing more. Which is a meh considering it's the endgame of vanilla MHW
Yea. Didn't finish or even really pay attention to the story so correct me if I'm wrong, but there was a ship that we come around, a really old one, and apparently there was someone already doing research in iceborne. There has to have been at least a camp left over we can explore. We set up camp in the new world super fast and even have a huge arena and tens of campsites spread through the world.
Chain blades from Dauntless are a good idea. Or maybe like a kusarigama? Having a blunt ranged weapon on one side and bladed melee weapon on the other side.
@@revthescatman137 MHW has MUCH better graphics than the older games, so each weapon takes much longer to model. And they were clearly overwhelmed because most weapons are just base bone with three feathers stapled on.
I always imagined a Crossbow as a "Heavy" version of the bow that has a special shot of throwing traps that are electric, poisonous and Pitfall or Shoot harpoons with ropes that hold the monster just like Palicos do with vines that hold the monster Something similar to the harpoons you use in the game Horizon Zero Dawn That you aim at the monster, throw a harpoon and then attach the other part of the rope / harpoon elsewhere and limit the movements of the monsters and if it flies it does not leave the ground.
I really, really do not want there to be a mandatory online co-op situation. Everything does not have to be online, but for some godforsaken reason so many publishers think it's mandatory or something. I guess to appease the board of directors so they don't get fed to sharks. Optional multiplayer for funsies is fine, but sometimes I just really want to be left the hell alone to brutalize a massive, fire-breating dinosaur, electric wolf, or angry monkey without any human interaction. Edit: having to go multiplayer to have a chance in hell to actually get done what needs to to actually do lategame content counts as mandatory.
@@ostracostio64 what I mean is, I don't want to have to have other people involved in MH6 because they decide there has to be multiplayer everything. It's fine where it is.
you say that but it works for them and you'll still do it. You can solo every monster except 2 but technically you still can it just takes forever. if you can't solo the monsters then thats on you.
No crossover monsters, more variation on monster types that where lacked in world (leviathans, neoterans etc), underwater combat, bring back more monsters that haven’t appeared in awhile (ie Yama, hypo, dalamadur, Gigginox), playable palicos again with multiple palicos skills like in MHGenU, and finally a proper offline mode with a goddamn pause button! That’s pretty much all I want tbh
Rico Montez I should probably clarify, I like crossovers/collaborations as in weapons, gear and event quests, but I really don’t like crossover monsters in the vein of Extremoth and ancient leshen. Having your team die on you constantly isn’t a fun time, especially when your facing the most damage sponging and bullshit mechanics in the series
Actually, the PVP thing could be done in a lore-friendly way. So, imagine this. There is a sudden influx of monsters that are invading a plains region in the new game (whatever that may be in the future game that will inevitably come). There are a plethora of monsters that are running amok, however they are not going after human settlements. The newest research commission is assigned to observe and take part in this monster excursion and figure out the cause to this phenomenon. Upon arriving, the player encounters two monsters (probably something as weak as the Great Jagras) currently trying to rip each other apart limb from limb. Once one dies, possibly in a cut scene, the player realizes that the surviving monster is being controlled by a different group: a human one. As the other monster is leaving the scene, the player can obviously see both a human in the distance beckoning for the monster to return as well as a collar latched around the monster's neck. Once the player returns to whatever their base of operations is, they are informed about a new commission that has been established by the ruling governments of the world to try and tame/weaponize monsters. As such, they are looking for new members to join and extend that offer to all available personal in any part of the globe. The player then has the option to become a member of this new military commission while still retaining their previous status as a hunter. Thus, PVP is unlocked and the player now has the opportunity to take part in these field tests. But how would this work? Do I get to bonk other players in the head to my hammer or is it just a monster brawl? Well, yes and no. To give an example, let's say players are set up in a team of four alongside one monster that has been successfully obtained and controlled by this militaristic commission. The mission is to locate the opposing group that has been given a similar monster and subdue (not kill) their monster. Once this is complete, the field test will be complete and the player can take other hunts or do more PVP field tests. For this specific PVP interaction, the name of the game is knocking out the other team's monster while keeping yours standing. As such, the direct PVP actions are limited, but not non-existent. For example, the monsters could start the match by having a turf war that is directly followed by each monster targeting the other team's players. Once the battle starts, players can do small things towards one another that could affect overall combat efficiency or possibly trip up on another so they get carted. Using hunting horns to debuff enemy players, hammers to smash the ground near a player and make them trip, bows to deflect enemy hits as the arrows collide with the blades. Plenty of ways to indirectly sabotage the other team without directly carting them. Thus, you could look at this and create a team that is balanced around both offense and defense (2 attackers and 2 defenders), a debuff team, a buff team, or a mixture of all of them. With the variety of weapons available, there are a high number of team compositions that could be really fun to play around and experiment with. To add, there also needs to be a balancing mechanic involved when it comes to the monsters brought into this. Because, lets face the facts, even if we all love Dodogama, he would get massacred if the enemy team decided to use a monster such as Deviljho and have them fight with their base stats. So, to counter this, the player can enhance the monster they are fighting alongside prior to the match starting with different augments to help level the playing field. This could be akin to giving a monster armor, increasing their size (health pool), doping them to increase their strength, and even giving them an element. These monster are then given a rank based on how combat effective they are overall and this then helps with matchmaking and making sure some team with a really big Jaggi doesn't end up fighting a Furious Rajang that has been given armor and is enhanced to do Dragon damage alongside his base lightning attacks. Because, you know, fuck that. This could also lead into a new mechanic for the story, as you are told that you can have a monster as a partner in your hunts (on occasion, as the maintenance for a monster is too high to risk using it too frequently) and any events that allow it can have your monster engage as well. Thus, each player can create their own little (or not so little) powerhouse that will stay beside them until the end of their days. Or, ya know, until they are given the chance to trade up and forget/abandon their previous partner. With that in mind, the monster that is used for the match is chosen randomly between the four players present or the four players pick which one of the four to use and that begins the field test. Alternatively, you could extend upon the previous story mentioned above and introduce a third faction. This faction, unlike the commissions, is not a government sponsored group and are seen as just as dangerous as the monsters you hunt on a day to day basis. They are akin to PETA in the fact that they believe that no monster can do wrong and that humans are a blight on this planet (even if they are human themselves). So, in a fashion similar to Dark Souls, there is an invader feature should the player discreetly join this faction. If a fellow player enables this function for their hunt, another player may join and act as opposition during the hunt. They directly try and attack the host while also try to not die from the monster that is being hunted. Unlike the host who has, typically, three faints, the invader only has the one shot and has to be careful when they engage the host. There is no resting spot for these invaders, so whatever you bring with you is what you have unless you craft things from the environment. There could be a ranking system that is based on the player's armor rarity, weapon rarity, HR/MR rank, and overall wins vs loses on being both an invader and a defender. That way, there are no rarity 12, end-game players ruining some rarity 5, beginner's hunt in two seconds flat. Mechanically, there is nothing stopping a player from joining all three so there is no cut content for any one individual, but for the main story choosing a side may lead to a different ending. What that ending my be I can only imagine, but I can only see it being a plus and overall interesting to play around with. I have no idea if this sounds like a sane idea or not, but I have always wanted see what would happen
I want a function where every captured monster can be sent out on a hunt with you to have custom turf war with your quest monster and then leave. Also make a new weapon
How I imagine the future of MH is the Nintendo Switch games staying in the Old World and expanding the lore and mechanics and stuff over there and the more powerful consoles/PC going forward and continuing to explore the New World or just the planet as a whole. And I really hope we get a new Switch game soon cause I’m getting tired of GU tbh Oh yeah and can we have more cutscenes like 4U? And more group cutscenes? I always enjoyed them (unless someone didn’t hit the skip button).
I want to keep mh mostly the same i.e. a town that the players load into, but i'd like it it to be like the first game again where you could see players anywhere in town. Also, a map that you play on, however, i'd like it to be a huge skyrim tier map where you have to actually strike out and hunt the monster where it lives.
I love how halfway through the "what we want in the next Monster Hunter game" video the speakers started pitching ideas that are not at all in synch with what Monster Hunter is.
We need to get rid these Ore and Bone weapon treatment design. PLZ CAPCOM USE UNIQUE DESIGN like older games. OR AT LEAST DON'T DO ORE/BONE TREATMENT ON FINAL UPGRADE WEAPON.
Agreed with the latter idea, I can understand the ore/bone treatment on lower quality stuff but as you upgrade it really would be best if the weapons had an almost gradual build up to the monster specific unique final upgrades
OMFG! How about monster hunter 6 brings back underwater combat in the world engine! This would create a whole new experience and can add a hell of alot of monsters! The combat would be more fluid because of the world engine.
CHIA-HAO CHOU it being a new engine doesn’t make much sense to me as they clearly spent a lot of time making this new engine and it would cost a lot of money to just stop using this perfectly good engine and create another from the ground up
CHIA-HAO CHOU by that do you mean the engine for the resident evil 2/3 remakes? If you are then how would they use that engine for such a different game?
i personally want some of the Frontier monsters cause they've been exclusive for waaay too long, specifically i want Espinas, Odibatorasu, and the Origin species. unlikely, but a man can dream.
I want underwater combat back. Started in Tri, and I always thought the underwater water were fun, especially Lagiacrus'. I'd also like to see new weapons, would especially like to see the Magnet Spike adapted into the World system, that weapon is so cool!
More Neopterons, Temnocerans, or Carapaceons please. While they aren't that strong compared to most other monster classifications (minus a few exceptions like Ahtal-Ka), they often have some of the most fascinating hunt mechanics or traits, like Nerscylla's ability to wear the skin of other monsters to change its weaknesses and resistances, or Seltas Queen's synergy with Seltas and how it will sometimes eat Seltas to heal at low health, Daimyo Cenataurs precise blows, or Ahtal-Ka's huge mech nest.
Tri was my first game and I never understood the criticism with the underwater combat/camera. If you tapped the target cam it would set the camera directly in front of ur hunter. Clunky, sure, but it deserves another go.
I've seen gameplay of the underwater combat and it just didn't look fun. The concept is cool and if they do bring it back hopefully its majority improved
Yea i played the underwater combat Its kinda slow But at the same time you gotta think like hunters arent 24/7 fighting underwater But if they bring it back we better be faster
Underwater Combat has literally never been fun in any 3D game. Being underwater by default means being clunkier and slower, no one likes being clunky and slow in a 3D game and even less having to fight something that doesn't move as slow or clunky as you. It's just not a fun experience. Every 3D game that tried failed. I'd rather Capcom to focus and improve other things rather than design a doomed to fail underwater combat again. Reason that it's doomed to fail is because you can't make underwater combat without making the player slower and clunkier, as I said, it's just how being underwater is and there's nothing devs can do to change that. If they make it too fast and smooth then it wouldn't feel like you are underwater. .
Hats off to the editor that took the time and effort to show clips relating to what they were talking about at any given time. Made the video flow very well from point to point. The discussion was great, too!
I'd love to have the ability to find and keep the eggs of some of these monsters and get to raise and train a monster, maybe with your monster mount/hunting buddy being able to die permanently if you don't evac them when they get badly hurt. And I love the idea of a stronger sim element like Stardew or Minecraft being added. Allow a team of hunters to build a group lodge and decorate it as they see fit, build their own farms and/or stables, etc etc. As far as weapons are concerned, I do agree that a agile staff weapon that doesn't rely on managing the kinsect would be fun. Another transforming weapon could be interesting was well, maybe that agile style staff could morph into a dual weapon to go for a dual blades style flurry of attacks for a short period, only doing blunt instead of cutting damage in both forms. A chain weapon would be a neat addition, whether that's a whip or a kusarigama or set of meteor hammers. For a new ranged weapon, maybe another ranged weapon that's good in close like the bow can be like perhaps one of those oversized boomerangs or a pair of chakrams.
I want a lot more monster variety now that they’ve had time to understand the skeletal system (this next game should pull out all the stops and show off the true array of monsters that the series has to offer), an endgame that’s AT A BARE MINIMUM the same level as the Guiding Lands in the base game, a better decoration acquisition method that’s at LEAST as efficient as volcano farming in the old games (but preferably more enjoyable and nuanced), and a rework of the arch tempered system to keep bullshit like Kirin out of the game and include more moveset variety instead (ideally the tempered system would be scrapped in favor of the deviant system, but that’s just my opinion). Underwater combat would be appreciated if it could be done well (which I know it can), but it’s honestly optional. I’d obviously love even more advancements, but World’s core is in such a good place right now that basically everything else can stay the same as it is right at this moment and I’ll be happy as long as they take care of those things.
Only if they remove the stupid ticket system from deviants, since if only the host received tickets and you also had to do then like 25 time least to get your reward.
If the new consoles are half as powerful as the leaks claim, there’s literally nothing that capcom couldn’t do with MH in terms on technological limitations and that makes me soooo excited!!!!
I want a palico only game. Where you don't use freaking scraps to build your stuff and being able to use items and whatnot... Palicos aren't pets or mascots... they are the true hunters. Maybe armor skills instead of clases or rng bullcrap. With a couple of different weapon move set so that they don't do pierce boomerangs as the only viable choice for the late game... There could be some ultimate moves that have cooldowns and maybe a morale system for npc palicos.
I hope the next monster hunter game will be next gen and be similar monster hunter world. I'd love to see a map with open fields and giant mountains you can climb. For monsters i'd love to see entirely new species like monsters walking on 2 legs (or i read from some other comment plant-like monsters would be amazing). I'd also like to see a new weapons like a spear or mace. And maybe a new element like air would be cool, when you attack a gust of wind could follow the flow of your weapon with a ~0.2 sec delay and hit for a second time for less damage, if you miss your almost perfectly timed attack it will still hit for a bit of damage. Also a community designed monster would be so cool just like they did with the weapon design and cat armor
- Revamped sea hunting (perhaps using some sort of 3d maneuver gear underwater) - New weapon type? new gunner type perhaps - New monster classification - Great full set armor skills that would create more customization and makes you think to choose between mixed or full (even for normal monsters) - Have the charm of old gen MH games (more vibrant colors that would blend well with the environment) - More masterpiece of OSTs - Higher difficulty 1. Monster with better tracking for their moves (because hunters are so fast now) Or..... to number 2 2. Revamp the camp item box system. Rather than infinitely obtaining items, they should make an item delivery request system (where items are delivered from the base after a few minutes perhaps, here you should choose which items you wanted to deliver carefully based on how you would imagine the fight would go on later). This would also make you prepare more for your item pouch before going to the quest. - This is kinda hard because SOS flare is a good mechanic but makes gathering hub often empty (except for sieges), but I wanted a more close and social experience like in the old MH games. Perhaps only people you befriended from gathering hub can access your SOS request? I dunno.
We definitely need more giant monster fights, I'm talking Jhen Mohran, Ceadeus and Dalamadur size, and along with them, Ship battles and airship battles. I just really miss those amazing spectacle battles a lot. ALSO WE COULD'VE HAD CEADEUS AND DIRE MIRALIS IN WORLD IF WE HAD WATER SHIP BATTLES DAMNIT. Oh well...
Do yourself and favour watch a compilation of them or play the games cause honestly there's some amazing gems (especially the life ones where the monster is just chilling in its natural environment without any real interference from the player)
A new weapon? I've always wanted a Morning Star/Mace weapon that transforms like Switchaxe or Charge Blade, but with an emphasis on Blunt Damage, Defense, and Range. Not very mobile, like the hammer, but safer with a shield and can stun from a long range.
I miss the seperate quests for online and offline. If they streamlined it so that online hunts are scaled up big monsters for multi-player with more rewards, i think it would be great
@Lagia Bro I was literally just saying this. I want a serious MH anime with cool monster fights and Hunters we can actually attach to as characters. I think it would do extremely well.
I'd like to see expanded crafting mechanics with improved customization. Also Dual guns. whip chain/dagger chain like from the movie ninja assassin would be amazing.
For me a really important thing is: Ehere are the monster ecology videos?!? It was one of my favourite things about MHFU. I still can't belive they aren't a thing anymore and it makes me actually sad.
22:48 If they would implement "PvP" I'd rather have it in the following shape: Two sets of players have to take out a specific monster (either the same or a different one). The team that kills the monster fastest wins. I would not want to see literal player versus player in this game though.
I'd quite like a darkness hunt, as In you hunt something underground but its pitch black and you can only see luminous part on a monster and maybe a small area around you kind of like the namielle cutscene but for the whole fight, I think things like gigginox would be really cool like this
A subterranean forest with huge mushroom as trees huge ferns and other plants, creatures will be like a mole like beast type fang beast, more snake wyvern and amphibian , and bugs need to be back.
@Michael Pelton My favorite fights are Shara, Namielle, Velkhana, Ruiner Nergignate, Safii, ebony odo, fulgur anjanath, Seething Bazel, coral pukei and the rest of 5 gen. Just deviljho, zinogre and rajang are the only old World monsters that i don't find overrated, so you're wrong.
weapon of choice : Hunting boomerang, dual crossbow , katar , anchor , claw , scythe , new map idea : sinkhole , subterranean With 10% light , dead forest, magnetic mountain , ancient destroyed civilization kingdom, always raining mountain, underwater cavern with green stone everywhere. monster species : turtle based elder dragon , giant vampire bat that hang in the ceiling , more fish model monster , corpses eating dragon , long chinese dragon model other than laoshenlong , dragon with petrify ability , dragonfly , crazy plant that eat monster. well maybe all i suggest have been in MH but , MH is the place where the world is so massive with lore and new speciment that rverybody can dream of
I would love for the characters to be more fleshed-out. Like, imagine if there was a character in monster Hunter world that was like a Steve Irwin analog
My personal idea is having 2 MH Game series, one for PS4-5/Xbox, and one for Switch. The Next-Gen one will be a evolution directly from MHW in artsytle, asthetic, and core structure. The Switch one will be a cross between MHW, MHGen/GenU, and MH Stories/Riders. It's artsytle/Graphics will be a hybrid between MHW and MH Stories (Cell Shaded, More Anime.etc, maybe think of Code-Vien/Monster Hunter in style). And have the base of MHW (QoL, Weapon moves, no loading screen maps.etc), but have a tweaked version of hunting styles.etc.
The Switch one is okay, but I think it’s a little too much. Also, I would rather if the game would use the graphics style similar to Tri (not 3 Ultimate, okay) instead of cell shaded.
@@jordanwilliam3207 the main thing is at high-res the old style doesn't hold up, we can see this with MHGU and MH3U. And that's a Artsytle thing, not really a "Oh its a upscaled portable game thing". And the arttsle if you do rework it to be okay, would be more intensive than a Cell Shaded style, ergo less MHW features ported over
@@Alovon Hunter Arts would be nice, but I just hope they would make the offensive ones more useful because the buff ones are just too powerful that the offensive ones are completely outclassed for the most part.
More epic events like Safi'jiva siege Underwater quests Hunting huge, really huge monsters. Please, please, and please a monster Hunter game which is developed with RE ENGINE. (That could be really awesome. Re engine is beautiful. Isnt it ? I loved Resident Evil VII Biohazard, RE 2 Remake. Dmc V was super cool and aahhh Nemesis is on the way and the game looks fukin so good) Maybe 6 players Raid. After i ve seen Safi'jiva siege, what things Capcom has done for MHWorld, my respect highly increased to Capcom. They are still supporting entire game and contents are free. World was awesome and than Iceborne stole my heart. I believe that we will see amazing features ,mechanics, monsters in the next Monster Hunter game. I highly trust Capcom and excited already for a next gen Monster Hunter game.
@@gg2fan I don't know . Unfortunately i have not played previous mh games before but these kind of quests always looked fun to me. But Zorah Magdaros was boring. Im just fun part of this.
@@stepienmaximilian They should try imo. The Havok graphic engine is not enough especially for the physics. The textures are just textures not even live. The engine must be upgraded. Haven't you seen that before sometimes the monsters Pierce each other.
I would really like to see the two weapons that Generations almost introduced fully realized: The Hunting Hound and the Wyvern Boomerang. The Hound especially, as I'm a huge fan of those classes in RPGs and MMOs where your main "weapon" were creature companions or summons. Also in terms of what B-team is doing or if they had any involvement in World/Iceborne, the director of Iceborne was the director of Generations Ultimate.
Please do more, maybe podcast or chill hunt with mostly chatting, I love this so much and half an hour just end so quickly Edit: I have played about 800+ hours of MHO and I have to say it was one of the best MMO experience, idk about now but back then it feels basically like MHGU but with limited style, idk if they have added more but it was only the basic one and dodge one, the gameplay loop is basically the same as basic MH game and the progression system etc is about the same as well with some exception, the monsters is also the basic one with few Frontier monster and MHO original monster, I play it for free and I love it, it isnt perfect but I have fun playing while waiting for MHW, I think MH could really work as an MMO, you dont really need to change anything, just add all of the monster from the main series and add few more would already be a massive ammount of content then add few monster and expansion once in a while
Some ideas * Create your own fleet. * Build your own base / guild hub. * Fly your own airship to different location. * Being able to use your ship to fight monster in sieges. * Add attacks that have unique combo when pair with same/different weapon type. * Hunter game base on ancient timeline where all the technology and race exisit. * Grappling glove so you can german suplex rajang.
Oh sweet, the three big ones I know that do videos on MHW, together, having a chat. :D (Rage for his gameplay and humour, Arekkz for his tutorials that helped me get started in the beginning, and TDS for their epic speedrun and fun clone team fights)
We want to see a lack of temporal mantles. It gets soo old seeing 3 shiny yellow glowing pixies kill an elder dragon of myth in 30 seconds because they have godmode on
I honestly feel like a lot of people are forgetting the fact that only three people worked on weapon designs for World and Iceborne, which I'd say they did a pretty dang good job. With what they pushed, and learned, I think we will see more unique weapon designs, and a larger variety of monsters moving forward. Considering that Iceborne has damn near as many monsters as 4U and Generations Ultimate, they know what the fans want, and there are some amazing possibilities ahead. I feel they should expand mechanics of the weapons, more than add new ones, but that is my personal opinion. Whatever Capcom has in store for us, I'm looking forward to it. Playing the games through the years, and watching them change from 1 to World has been an enjoyable ride.
Things i want. New traps and items. Like a cold trap that freezes or a molotov cocktail style bomb that does damage over time. This should definitely go crazy and possibly make it easier to improvise mid hunt. Also, the health flute should come back. Weapons, like a halberd/spear that is, like said in the video, an agile, long, pokey weapon. A mid range weapon like a wip. A cannon, like the equivalent of a ranged greatsword, just s few basic ammo types and some kind of big attack. Of course the tonfas/fists. And finaly something that is more a AoE type weapon, where you could do something to the ground/environment to do damage. And lastly i would like a larger emphasis of the survival, crafting, and improvising aspects of the game. This would include expanding the crafting list a bit, adding more environmental things to interact with and limiting how much you can just go back to camp and pull out new potions. I miss going into a fight either with practicaly nothing and pulling through because i applied my knowledge of the map to make the stuff i needed, or even just thst i had flawlessly prepared for all contingencies. Now you dont even need to eat before you leave which is fine but it was always more fun overcoming the challenge of forgeting to bring something, in my opinion. This also means that a future game id like to see might be like an open world survival styled game where you could spend hours/days on a hunt. You would leave the guild, stock up and set out. As you track the monster you must keep yourself fed and healthy using your supplies and things you find/hunt on the way. And then you track the monster, like in world but more in depth. Hunt it, kill/trap it and signal the guild to have it picked up. Then you can either restock and take a new quest or head back home and upgrade your gear. These are my dreams for the game, coincidentally in order from most possible and realistic to over the top and hypothetical.
18:30 subnautica Although I guess that isn't very pleasant, it was terrifying but it was done amazingly well and being on land felt weird and just... Wrong
I would be incredibly happy to see MHFU Remastered. Literally just an HD remaster with a super basic online multiplayer for the guild. Leave all the crappy hitboxes and everything. Now that MHW brought so many new players, make a game not to gain new gamers, but purely for fan-service. Make veterans happy and let new players sweat :D
Let's not forget: the director of Monster Hunter portable 3rd and Generations (Ichinose) teased his next game during 15th anniversary: Monster Hunter Next. We will probably see this game announced quite soon.
I would love to see a MH game where the expeditions are improved. You just join a massive map filled with a max of 10 large monsters at a time, and a maxof 20 hunters You can hunt whichever, and hunts can intervene with each other.. you can help. There is a base somewhere for you to restock (not a small camp, but an actual base). And every once in a while an Elder Dragons shows up to wreak havoc on other monsters and the base. I still prefer the single player campaign... with an improved co-op so you don't have to wait for the other to watch all the cutscenes... but a multiplayer mode with this large map would be fantastic. Basically the Guiding Lands... but bigger.... much bigger.
Bring hunting styles going forward! The hunting styles but with the fluidity of the weapons in world :umpf: and yeah i agree with Josh clutch claw is broken and unfun.
Hunter Arts will almost certainly be a Generations exclusive gimmick like the Clutch Claw and Slinger will almost certainly be a World exclusive gimmick. It's a little unclear if maybe Specialised Tools will permanently replace them going forward or if they'll also remain a World thing. There's a lot that could replace it though. Maybe more diversity in abilities attached to weapons/armor, like we saw Capcom arguably experimenting with Shara, Namielle and Velkhana armor? Eg. if you equip Brachy weapons or Brachy armorpieces, your own attacks can coat monsters in explosive slime. That kind of stuff I could easily see filling the void Hunter Arts left behind in terms of letting your hunter do really badass stuff that's unique to you.
I like the clutch claw, it's fun to have Redpit beat the shit out of Rajang's, and in my opinion Weapon Styles were always confusing and uninteresting, they're a thing of the past
Monster Hunter Tri will always be my fav of the series, and I really liked underwater battles. Fighting Gobul while his theme was playing was really immersive back then.
-Yes I know that the games are more about the gameplay but honestly there is a lot of potential in terms of world building, great with their own unique motivations and overall a great story this will bring more people into the series -interconnected open world with no loading screens -new weapons -bringing back all of the old monsters
15:00 FREEDOM WARS! ....Toukiden 2 also introduced a similar concept with the machina stuff. In that game you have a 'thorn' mechanic that allows you to grapple not unlike the clutch claw, however you can grapple at any point: environment, big enemies, other players/human enemies, even the ground for faster traversal. There's also a mechanic with it that you and your team can grapple, restrain, and pull larger monster down. GOD, I wish playstation gave freedom wars a second chance!
To make clutch claw better, when you tenderize the monster, there’ll be a timer for how long it’s tenderizered and when you hit it it refreshes the tenderized spot timer so you don’t have to keep tendizing the part and rewards hitting it more

LeHyze OMG when I saw that it was an elder dragon for the coral highlands I thought they would add a new boss area for it and that it would be underwater and was so hyped tbh
Namielle could of been a jellyfish in a water arena
R.I.P.
actually..... in the guiding lands, the river is her weakness in the coral region, she cant spread her water in the water, therefore her shock doesnt explode.
that idea probably wouldn't happen because it is stated somewhere (I don't remember where) that Namielle's "water" is actually just a water like secretion and that it specifically channels the electicity through the water like secretions that it releases not through the water itself
This might come off as a little weird but I kinda just want a new classification of monster; like a carnivorous plant monster (similar to Malboros/Ochus from FF) or a big swarm monster that's just lots of smaller monsters working together.

Wait does mh world not let you pause in solo hunts? In generations at least you caN

What I Want to See in the Next MONSTER HUNTER Game: Lagiacrus.
THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
How I imagine the future of MH is the Nintendo Switch games staying in the Old World and expanding the lore and mechanics and stuff over there and the more powerful consoles/PC going forward and continuing to explore the New World or just the planet as a whole.

No not realy, Frontier is done so i dont see why they could add some those monsters in the next monster hunter game

AVP ptsd kicks in lol

Really hyped for the return of Leviathans in the next Monster Hunter game!!
I want underwater combat back. Started in Tri, and I always thought the underwater water were fun, especially Lagiacrus'.
I'd also like to see new weapons, would especially like to see the Magnet Spike adapted into the World system, that weapon is so cool!
It had a lot if potential. While it is a bit clunky I think it can be easily fixed.
I want a Hybrid range/melee weapon type, like a Hunter version of the Palico Boomerang, like the Ninja Star one.
I agree. Honestly wish there was more of a variety of monsters. I miss hunting monsters like Nerscylla, Najarala and Lagiacrus.
Yea i played the underwater combat
Its kinda slow
But at the same time you gotta think like hunters arent 24/7 fighting underwater
But if they bring it back we better be faster
I have to say i loved it, clumpy and slow guys u where underwater btw so it would be stupid to be as fast as on land -_-
Underwater Combat has literally never been fun in any 3D game. If they make it too fast and smooth then it wouldn't feel like you are underwater. .
Tried was my first as well and I loved the water fights
I just want my boi lagiacrus, its been too long.
Same
And this is one of the many reasons why I play MHGenU soo religiously
lol lagia is totally shit, specially underwater
*Angry ivory and abyssal noises*
@@oros321 worth it for that armor tho.
The idea of mounting a monster a fight along side them its very interesting
Monster hunter stories ?
Leviathans, Neopterons, Temnocerans
Include all the rosters in Generation
I want to fight everyone in HD dammit
Ekusupuroshon Bakuretsu
- Revamped sea hunting (perhaps using some sort of 3d maneuver gear underwater)
- New weapon type? new gunner type perhaps
- New monster classification
- Great full set armor skills that would create more customization and makes you think to choose between mixed or full (even for normal monsters)
- Have the charm of old gen MH games (more vibrant colors that would blend well with the environment)
- More masterpiece of OSTs
- Higher difficulty
1. Monster with better tracking for their moves (because hunters are so fast now) Or..... to number 2
Oh well...
Mhw was my fist monster hunter game, watching theses cutscenes of monsters from the old games has me like 0_o they look absolutely sick!!!!!!
A lot of these cutscenes also come from the spinoff series Frontier (the MMO they mentioned) and Online.
Facts
Do yourself and favour watch a compilation of them or play the games cause honestly there's some amazing gems (especially the life ones where the monster is just chilling in its natural environment without any real interference from the player)
A new weapon? I've always wanted a Morning Star/Mace weapon that transforms like Switchaxe or Charge Blade, but with an emphasis on Blunt Damage, Defense, and Range. Not very mobile, like the hammer, but safer with a shield and can stun from a long range.
I miss the seperate quests for online and offline. If they streamlined it so that online hunts are scaled up big monsters for multi-player with more rewards, i think it would be great
I want the equal dragon weapon as a monster to hunt
There should be a Monster Hunter anime. I’d watch that
They did one for Stories
Arekkz Gaming can I find that online?
@Lagia Bro I was literally just saying this. I want a serious MH anime with cool monster fights and Hunters we can actually attach to as characters. I think it would do extremely well.
@@SolidSnake240 that's what I try to make all my characters into.
@Lagia 😂😂 Hey im happy and i wanna ride my monsters😂😂
I'd like to see expanded crafting mechanics with improved customization. Also Dual guns.
whip chain/dagger chain like from the movie ninja assassin would be amazing.
raversmiracle2 like maybe a sickle whip like Nioh.
Edgy
kusarigama mid range awesomeness
@@senritsujumpsuit6021 Thank you. Couldn't remember the name of it lol.
For me a really important thing is:
Ehere are the monster ecology videos?!?
It was one of my favourite things about MHFU. I still can't belive they aren't a thing anymore and it makes me actually sad.
22:48 If they would implement "PvP" I'd rather have it in the following shape: Two sets of players have to take out a specific monster (either the same or a different one). The team that kills the monster fastest wins. I would not want to see literal player versus player in this game though.
LOOOOOOONGsowrd
That sound good actually i don mind that
I'd quite like a darkness hunt, as In you hunt something underground but its pitch black and you can only see luminous part on a monster and maybe a small area around you kind of like the namielle cutscene but for the whole fight, I think things like gigginox would be really cool like this
They tried that on MHW alpha reveal which Lagiacrus appear, looks like its still hard to compatible with large area and lot of lighting effect
A subterranean forest with huge mushroom as trees huge ferns and other plants, creatures will be like a mole like beast type fang beast, more snake wyvern and amphibian , and bugs need to be back.
Max Covey I would love more horror themed monsters like Giggi and Vaal like a really tense scary fight could change up a hunt significantly
It was there in MH Tri, but I would say, it’s meh.
LAGIACRUS AND SWIMMING ARE ALL I WANT!!! This has been my TED talk
What I want from the next game? Monster Hunter: Old World
But then that would technically be the New World right now.
no thanks
Boring.
_pyrex I think he meant that he wants New Worlds graphics and design but with old world monsters.
Well this was a crossover I never expected! Hell yeah!
weapon of choice :
Hunting boomerang, dual crossbow , katar , anchor , claw , scythe ,
new map idea :
sinkhole , subterranean With 10% light , dead forest, magnetic mountain , ancient destroyed civilization kingdom, always raining mountain, underwater cavern with green stone everywhere.
monster species : turtle based elder dragon , giant vampire bat that hang in the ceiling , more fish model monster , corpses eating dragon , long chinese dragon model other than laoshenlong , dragon with petrify ability , dragonfly , crazy plant that eat monster.
well maybe all i suggest have been in MH but , MH is the place where the world is so massive with lore and new speciment that rverybody can dream of
If you think about it, Monster Hunter Universe does sound like the next logical tittle for the next instalment in the series (not in space of course)
With all maps from previous games in HD holy shiiii nostalgia bomb
Co rré Just think about Running through Moga Woods with no load screens, absolutely insane
I would love for the characters to be more fleshed-out. Like, imagine if there was a character in monster Hunter world that was like a Steve Irwin analog
Frontier had some of that iirc with some of the rastas. But I'd agree ANYTHING is better than the fucking handler.
we dont need that kind of thing in MH that's more of a monster hunter rider thing they dont get along😂😂😂😂
Akidra 0 i would cry honestly (Aussie here)

« What I like about MMOs is seeing stuff happening that’s not yours and just be like 'let me get involved' »
_American anthem starts playing_
I want the option to play as prowler back, tonfas, something like the crescent moon from God Eater 3.
More epic events like Safi'jiva siege
Underwater quests
Hunting huge, really huge monsters.
Please, please, and please a monster Hunter game which is developed with RE ENGINE. (That could be really awesome. Re engine is beautiful. Isnt it ? I loved Resident Evil VII Biohazard, RE 2 Remake. Dmc V was super cool and aahhh Nemesis is on the way and the game looks fukin so good)
Maybe 6 players Raid.
Don't fall int the trap of oversized monsters. Dalamadur sucked. Bigger is not always better.
@@gg2fan Yeah the bigger monster hunt I only really enjoyed was Dire Miralis
They've made so many new/old monsters with the upgraded Engine doubt they'll switch to the RE Engine just to restart again.
THIS
WYVERN BOOMERANG!! I REMEMBER THE CONCEPT ARTS
Base Generations director, Yasunori Ichinose hasn’t shown himself after that, and I don’t think he’s slacking around at this point.
Please do more, maybe podcast or chill hunt with mostly chatting, I love this so much and half an hour just end so quickly
Edit: I have played about 800+ hours of MHO and I have to say it was one of the best MMO experience, idk about now but back then it feels basically like MHGU but with limited style, idk if they have added more but it was only the basic one and dodge one, the gameplay loop is basically the same as basic MH game and the progression system etc is about the same as well with some exception, the monsters is also the basic one with few Frontier monster and MHO original monster, I play it for free and I love it, it isnt perfect but I have fun playing while waiting for MHW, I think MH could really work as an MMO, you dont really need to change anything, just add all of the monster from the main series and add few more would already be a massive ammount of content then add few monster and expansion once in a while
OMFG A FELLOW MHO SURVIVOR
I really love MHO. To this day, it still has a unique experience that MHW doesn't provide.
Some ideas
* Create your own fleet.
The future starts with a smash rep!
Also I never skip the opening cinematics. Way too epic
We want to see a lack of temporal mantles. It gets soo old seeing 3 shiny yellow glowing pixies kill an elder dragon of myth in 30 seconds because they have godmode on
Yep fucking ridiculous tbh and I use it but only cause everyone else is lol
Well it got nerfed
@@linko9720 not enough
I only use the mantle to wall slam the monster since monsters attacks knock you off.
@@Badgerrs same lol do feel dirty doing that but everyone else does so 🤷🏻♂️
I just want the AccelAxe. But I would love underwater specific weapons for water combat.
18:30 subnautica
Although I guess that isn't very pleasant, it was terrifying but it was done amazingly well and being on land felt weird and just...

Lord Ozzie I don’t think Next is exactly the name. He just teased his work using the ambigous NEXT term.
@@jordanwilliam3207 Sorry if I wasn't clear but I knew that lol. He always teases and be ambiguous.
If they want to do pvp they should do something like gambit from destiny 2 were 2 teams race to finish the same hunt
I would love to see a MH game where the expeditions are improved.
You just join a massive map filled with a max of 10 large monsters at a time, and a maxof 20 hunters
You can hunt whichever, and hunts can intervene with each other.. you can help.
Yeah I have mixed feelings with clutch claw too... feel it removes a lot of the fight, just stun, smash and repeat. Cool concept tho:)
Styles are broken and unfun and they should stay in GU.
Never played Generations, but it had those super moves that you build a meter for, right? Those would be cool to see in World or the next gen MH game.
Monster Hunter Tri will always be my fav of the series, and I really liked underwater battles. Fighting Gobul while his theme was playing was really immersive back then.
-Yes I know that the games are more about the gameplay but honestly there is a lot of potential in terms of world building, great with their own unique motivations and overall a great story this will bring more people into the series
-interconnected open world with no loading screens
-new weapons
-bringing back all of the old monsters

FREEDOM WARS! ....Toukiden 2 also introduced a similar concept with the machina stuff.
I was breaking my head over what the title was! Freedom Wars was kinda janky but fun.
Proper underwater combat.
Yes pls, underwater is much more bareable than the excess verticality that we have now.
Marvel: Infinity War is the most anticipated crossover ever
Arekkz, Rage, and TDS Chris: Allow us to introduce ourselves
To make clutch claw better, when you tenderize the monster, there’ll be a timer for how long it’s tenderizered and when you hit it it refreshes the tenderized spot timer so you don’t have to keep tendizing the part and rewards hitting it more
A scythe with a weighted chain or a halberd would be cool additions to MH. Adding more biomes would be great, especially involving water.
