What makes your videos so entertaining and watchable is seeing the reactions to your livestock when you are videoing. Funny seeing the heffers licking their lips when you feed then 😊
Davy will understand AND Best Part...He will Keep Loving You Nicola! At the beginning of the video it was so cool to see just how calm it was....even the Windmill was barely moving....Almost Eerie! You and Davy and your Dad and hired crew really give your animals the best possible life in terms of care and love! Appreciate the hard work you all do and the extra effort in making sure all is as good as it can be on your Farm! Cheer and From Across The Pond In COW-lumbus, Ohio MOO 👋
Great to see the sun 🌞shining in Scotland tupping is going well for you busy spring coming thanks for explaining weanling ration love the video Nicola as always 😊
Think your going to need a bigger shed come lambing 😂. I let the rams out tismorning with the main bunch of ewes and just before dark a fifth of them are raddled already 😢. Spring going to be busy
11kg of silage per head per day for calves ! (As a townie I think about bringing pet food home from the vets or supermarket on the bus.) Do you crush the barley?
Are you feeding damp (as harvested) barley and if so is it treated with acid for storage? Do you crack or roll the grain at harvest for the cattle as I cannot imagine that you feed it whole. You may be able to find a local engineering place that could Tig weld the damaged gates / hinges. Regards, Dan

Great lady farmer
Hi from New Hampshire, USA 👋
Welcome! 😊
The wsy tupps are working no wonder they dont want to walk fast lol
Hi. What make is your auger bucket please
Why don’t you have a shear grab if you have clamp silage will stop wast coming on the front just a thought ?
Thank you for your comment, the face of the pit it renewed every morning so no spoilage there 😊
If you have hard frost / snow this week will you house sheep at all ?
No they will remain outside.
Put a cath crate on side of quad to catch tup
When feeding the weanlings would it not better use silage from the middle of the pit,
Less Spoilage /
Less shovelling 🤔 👍
Yes we do, this was literally the first load (pre ration) as the pit was opened so had no option. Into better stuff now so no shovelling 👍🏻
