interesting... not at all watching this film did i think jenna ortega's character was going to be the final girl
she in fact was part of all the horror tropes that people usually go through... maxine was clearly leading especially with the
lake sequence
We all kinda knew or had a feeling Maxine was the final girl. She was practically front and centre during X's marketing... Now, c'mon now. 😂
The greatest way to subvert a final girl trope is to end the movie with the “final boy”.
2004's "Hellbent" has entered the chat.
cabin in the woods
Original evil dead as well
the burning was all about that
Deep Blue Sea
It's sad because in real life inexperience is what gets you killed.
Wrong, people with experience tends to be more confident and think everything is gonna be fine so they lower their guard;like party girls getting roofied cause they dont even watch their drinks anymore
What gets you killed in real life is not listening to experiences of other people. You can do all kinds of things that look dangerous to others. But if you learn from experiences of other people, you can avoid the actually dangerous stuff
@@robotzombie4754 are you mental?
I think making dumb decisions gets you killed. In this case, staying overnight in a strange old couples farm and making a porno is very obviously a dumb idea. You should always understand that you don't know what people are capable of. Always shrink your ego in a dangerous situation.
Honestly death can kill anyone regardless of experience and knowledge
Love your vids!
Bobby lynne was my favorite even more than maxine
Nice video, loved X and pearl
Glad you enjoyed!
Another great video Archer. Can you also do a video on the devil all the time?
Have you seen Barbarian?
No but I’ve been meaning to watch it, is it any good?
@@ArcherGreen It's a really nice film, it keeps you on your toes all the way throughout and subverts expectations quite well, the only part I felt like it lacked a bit was the ending sequence, other than that, really solid, would recommend.
@@ArcherGreen it’s good but not as good as it was hyped.
Movie was too hyped for it to turn out the way it did
