Thank you so much. As a recent buyer of a Turnigy 9xr pro and a (just received) Banggood 4 in 1 module ( around Labor Day sale $31) your timing was great. Look forward to future videos. Keep up the great work.
Just a little tip, some of the 3D printed module holders (The BLACK BOX) can have thicker walls so you'll have to file the edges of the PCB down. My module went in OK, but trying to get it out proved to be a long job as all you have is the knob to grab hold of to pull the module out. It didn't take much filing and it's now free to put in and pull out.

maybe you could do a simple comparison between them and under what circumstances the Taranis is needed because of its additional 3 position switches..... please?
I think you can't go wrong with a 9XR Pro. For my purposes I only need one 3pos switch. Depends what you fly. I also like the larger screen of the Taranis. But I think I would be very happy with a 9XR Pro if I didn't have a Taranis.
Hello. Does this module do FHSS? I have a 9XR and just bought a Q-Bot quad on sale for my son. It requires FHSS for it's receiver. Wondering if there is a tx module that can do this?
I may go with this for my 9xrpro so I will be ready when my 4in1 arrives. I currently have version r212 also. Will you consider doing a video adding the matching voice files? Thanks.
hi. great video. I'm extremely new to BNF quadcopter versions. i bought the 9xr pro and the 4 in 1 module. Also bought the Eachine QX100 at banggood. need help in what should i do to put all working. please help me if possible. thanks

+kevin bertorelli you may need to update your 4in1 module. No one knows what protocols they load in the stock 4in1 firmware. See my 4in1 updating video. Since I don't have those models I'd have no first hand experienced with it.
Hi, great video. Now im able to bind the module in the 9xr pro with the Eachine H8 board. But i cant control it. Nothing happens. Maybe there is something wrong in the general ore control settings? Can you please post your settings for this model ore send it to me?
Ken, could you provide a good link for the Turnigy 9xr pro firmware to support the 4in1? The current one that I have is dated 10/10/16. The latest for the Taranis 9x is is dated 12/8/16.

Man Can you please make a video comparing devo 10, taranis and turnigy 9xR pro. As transmitters with out the 4 in 1 and then how each performs with the 4 in 1, range, delay, easy of use, gimbals, size, weight, battery, power consumption etc I am going crazy right now trying to get the best bang for my bucks. +Sunny Jalaf you'd have to figure out how to get OpenTx or ersky9x on it. Or just use it in ppm mode. Then the transmitter won't need to have OpenTx or ersky9x. I don't have a 9x anymore since so won't have much advice on it.
Hi, I'm new to quad's and I'm just putting together pieces together that have yet to arrive. I ordered a Taranis QX7 but the quad I ordered a Wizard X220S has either a iRangeX iR-A8S / Flysky FS-A8S receiver that comes built in. I'm not too familiar with what I need but I was told that the QX7 would not be able to communicate with those receivers and I would either need a new receiver like an FrSky D8R-II PLUS 2.4Ghz 8CH Receiver or could I use this module to get it to work? If it works, is there any sacrifice in using a module? Will my range suffer and not be as effective as just buying a frsky rec and installing that instead?
Ken need your help! i used your eepm jj1000 file and set 9xr pro to aetr in controls also, but controls seem all mixed up so i set mixer Channel 1-4 as TAER and now controls are working right? did they just send me wrong board?
+MK bodybuilding Hmm looks like you have a JR version. But in serial mode shouldn't matter. If you flash the 4in1, you can change it to whatever you want.
kenVersus yes i soldered the pads to use in serial mode. so should i change the controls to TAER or change the mixer settings to TAER every time and leave the contol settings as AETR? thanks again
+MK bodybuilding odd. I use my "Frsky" version with my 9xr pro without any changing channel order. If it works for you in TAER set that as the default then. If load my eepm file I think it'll be aetr since it's my default and you have to modify it anyways.
did any one made the same without issues? i made it step by step, but can't bind with my new Eachine QX100 dsm2/dsmx quad... can't find what i did wrong!? can someone help me?!
Hello, i succeded installing my 4in1 on my 9XR pro due to your video... THANK YOU SO MUCH ! At the end, i see that you binded an Hubsan X4 and when the transmitter and the hubsan binded, the leds on the drone switched off. It makes the same with my Hubsan... how can i fix it ?
+Coco Pacabana I haven't tried to fix that but I think the values arent correct with channel 6. On my taranis it stays on. If I fix it, I'll let you know and post the correct settings file.
I am new to this hobby and am getting frustrated with waiting for the 4 in 1 module, now I need to update it. Order and wait for more so I can update the module. Would you be interested in updating my module and flash ERSky9x firmware? I would ship it to you in a freight paid box and send money to your Pay-Pal. What do you think?
+David Farmer I don't do this since I don't have time. Check out the rcgroups forums. The GitHub will have lots of info. github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/docs/Compiling.md
Hi ken i am trying to bind my 4 in 1 module with walkera runner 250 it has RX710 but for some reason i can't bind it with my TX any suggestions if any settings need to be changed in TX side, i followed instructions on github for binding devo in serial mode but had no luck, any help will be appreciated, Thanks.
I am grateful for this video. Having a problem though. I have the 9XrPro and the 4in1 module. I updated the firmware (been putting it off for ever). I did not do the serial setup just want to get things going first and will use the knob for now, and have iron channel 1 which should be for FlySky. I have been able to bind to a Turnigy TR6A V2 receiver, get the proper beeps, but none of the servos are working. I made sure the controls are set to AETR and am using the FlySky protocol. I am also in the PPM mode for this model. I can't think of anything it might be, any suggestions? I've also tried an actual FlySky receiver and get the same thing. My ultimate goal is to bind with a FlySky FS-IA6B to use in an Eachine Wizard X220 which is using a single channel PPM setup.
This is the module I have www.banggood.com/CC2500-NRF24L01-A7105-CYRF693-4-In-1-RF-Module-With-Case-For-Futaba-JR-Frsky-Transmitter-p-1116892.html?rmmds=mywishlist. Which I assumed is the same guts in a case.
+Dean Hallal I don't have that receiver but maybe you can try a different sub protocol for flysky. I think there is v912/v6x6/etc. The rcgroups forum might have some insight.
Following your video I was able to successfully bind my Syma quads. I have the same module for my Taranis and successfully connect all my Symas as well as my Cheersons. I was unable to bind my Cheersons to the Turing 9XRpro however. Have you had any luck?
+Joseph Renna that is strange. Maybe try to see if there is newer version of the ersky9x. Unfortunately I don't have a cheerson anymore so can't really comment. But check out the rcgroups.com forums maybe someone has experience.
I am currently flying an Eachine E011 microquad with the stock controller, but the controller is a bit shit and flying with the microquad has convinced me to go further into the hobby. I'm now thinking about purchasing the 9XR pro combined with this module. The Eachine E011 uses the Bayang protocol, so it should work with the 9XR Pro combined with this module right?
+Joran Groothengel yes it should work but I don't have that quad to confirm. But be aware there is a newer version that has the stm32 chip which is better. Check out my stm32 4in1 video for more details.
I just saw that you also made a video about the updated model of the module, I assume you now recommend that one? Lack of a case isn't really a problem, I have a cheap chinese 3d printer, and the price difference between the two is negligible.
Just got the 4in1 module from bangood and was following the video but just realized (DOH!!) I have the older Turnigy 9XR not the Turnigy 9XR *Pro*!! Any ideas if it should still work? e.g. is the ERSky9x firmware compatible with the 9XR as opposed to the 9XR Pro?
Thanks for your reply Ken, just a quick question that after using 4 in 1 module in my Th9x and updating firmware to Er9x or opentx, is there any way i can also use my older modules like frsky? in order to use 4 in 1 and frsky do i just need to go in the TX settings and change settings according to modules i am going to use or any other mods needed? Thanks
+Sunny Jalaf yes the FRsky modules should still work. They work in PPM mode. If you flash with OpenTx that supports 4in1, there will be option in settings to choose protocol. but not sure if there are versions of OpenTx for the 9x that support the 4in1. I would recommend getting a taranis or at least a 9xr pro. Those to are supported for sure since I have them.
Thx for the video! Can this 4 in 1 replace a frsky xjt module? I guess maybe it does the frsky protocol but without telemetry? I would like it so I can use my radio for a tiny whoop, but if I were to bind to an xsr receiver in my bigger copter how do you think the range would compare to a frsky module?
Hey Ken i am trying to connect my walkera runner 250(RX710) with 4 in 1 module i bought from banggood and having binding issue, in your replies you suggested me to update 4 in 1 module firmware and i recently updated firmware, still no luck, i can connect to DM002,Syma and WL959 protocols but for some reason i can't connect to runner 250, i have followed sequence on github website but no luck at all, please advise if there is anything you can suggest. Thanks
+Sunny Jalaf I think it uses the Devo protocol. When you compiled, did you make sure that protocol and cyrf6936 Rf chip is enabled in the source code? That's all I can think of. Maybe someone in the rcgroups has experience since I don't have that quad.
thx, I found a few tip that helped. thx. Its still a bit buggy but I can get it to bind now. How: Modules set to 6, 9rxpro set to ppm,30.5, 300u, negative, AETR. here is what these guys have helped me with so far: openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9681&p=123421#p123421
please give the firmware for turnigy 9xr pro.and if there is a more detailed manual on setting up can not zabindit 2 receivers :2.4G 8CH D8 Мини FrSky Frsky XM+ Micro D16 thank you very much in advance
Just received my 4 in 1 module from Banggood and it looks different, on the back it says YFRM02_V1.2 My TX and RX are soldered like in the RC group forum. I was going to try it as is, am I supposed to solder the TX and RX together for serial mode? I am unable to find the ERSky9x Firmware with Multi-Module support (ersky9xr_rom219x3.bin) what version should I download? Thanks David.
Hi,I just buy a Turnigy 9XR PRO and multiprotocol IRANGEX IRX4 from Banggood. I think that I did everything OK, but all the time my transmitter is not binding witch the receptor.I have a Eachine falcon, the receptor is a FlySky I6AB.Firstly, I flashed the firmware to my transmiter.Later I went to "Radio Set up" and seleceted the order chanels AETR.Finally I went to "Model set up" and there, selected: PROTO: Multi, PROTOCOL FLYSKY, Type: Flysky.I turn on the receptor of my Eachine Falcon and inmediatly I try to binding it witch my transmiter but unfortunetly, all the time is "binding".....Can you tell me step by step what to do?Many thanks in advance.
What model of the 4 in 1 module do you get if you have the 9xr pro? Frsky, Flysky, or JT? I know you said if you use serial mode it does not matter but what if we what to use ppm mode?
Hi i have this tx with orange telemetry module.i like to bind it with my devo rx601 rwceiver. Could this be possible? I search many times in youtube but there's no tutorial here. So pls help me so that i can fly my heli.
kenVersus thanks, that doesnt seem like that much, considering it says 2km on box lol. but at least in the 9xr pro u could swap in a long range module right?
Yeah, you can easily put in a FrSky module. The 4in1 module isn't really designed for long range. I don't know exactly how many mW. But it won't be a lot.
hi, thanks so much for this video. i had just follow what u have told, i did success bind e010 or hubsan. but all of them got no respone to the transmitter, cant fly. what to u think i have done wrong? thanks hope to hear u soon.
I am trying to get my eachine e010 working with this module and the 9xr pro and I can't seem to get it to bind, I downloaded your sample files and import the e010 model and still no go. I have solder the rx and tx so that it become serial mode. I also can get my eachine H8 Mini to bind without any issues. Do you think I need to update the firmware on this module? Also if I decide to go back to PPM mode do you know the rotary switch settings? Thanks
+Richard Trice yup. They never make it easy. There is a video I made if you want some guidance. Read the github, and the rcgroups forum. That's how I learned to do it.
+Andre Martinez the Devo 10 has better gimbals because it's smoother. The 9xr pro gimbal has shorter throws. For me it's not a deal breaker but it might bother some.
Hmm so far the only thing that is holding me back In buying the 9xr pro are the throws of the gimbals on it. Another concern, how are the buttons and switches on the 9xr pro? I heard that the buttons used in navigating through the menus can be a bother. Thoughts?
switches are fine, the navigation buttons work fine for me. I saw rcmodelreviews review on the 9xr pro and his was finicky. Maybe they fixed it since. The throws are shorter but I can't really complain for the price. If you want the best radio of the 3, get a Taranis, it's a better radio overall. But for $60, I can't really complain. One of my friends bought a 9xr pro after trying both of my Taranis and 9xr pro. He couldn't justify the extra cost of the Taranis.. and as he said, he didn't see a $200+ difference. He typically flies with the stock crappy radios with the micro quads so the 9XR Pro is light years better already. If I bought the 9xr pro before the Taranis I probably would be pretty happy with it and wouldn't look at the Taranis at all, but that's just my opinion.
I think you just sold it to me! The review from rcmodelreviews was what held me back. I hope you or some other youtuber make an updated review of the 9xr pro comparing it to the Devo 10 and Taranis to really justify its performance and 60 dollar price tag!! Thank you so much. Hearing it from someone who has owned a Taranis and Devo 10 saying that the Turnigy 9xr pro is great especially for the price compared to the Taranis and its price tag, really helpful! Thank you again and I hope your channel grows more. Cheers!!
Andre Martinez For me the HUGH upgrade of the Taranis is the easy to use telemetry. I think the 9xr CAN get telemetry but requires some complicated hardware hacks. But having the voltage on my individual cells being monitored has probably saved my quad several times and I don't need a timer any more. I know exactly when I it is time to land no matter what size battery I am using or how hard I am flying. Just my $0.02
Hey i want to use my Turnigy TGY-IA6B Receiver in PPM and i dont know which Baseplate i should choose. Can you tell me which one is the best with this receiver.
Friend, what a frustration. I bought the radio, modulo and drone, but nothing of being able to bind only 1 drone. My lock in the process of generating a bootloader, speaks that needs to update the USBasp and there is no way the arduino software recognize the USB with the AVR recorder. Do you have any tips?
+Fabiano Aguiar does your OS see it? Maybe try a different USBASP programmer. Check out the rcgroups forums. There are a lot of smart people there who will know the answer.
Hi, my friend, I did everything as you said but I can not do it at all. Is it because my AVR card is a bit different? The red light on the card goes out does not blink like yours, what can it be?
I bought a 9xrpro lol, gonna sell the devo i think. when u download the ersky9xrpro219x3 for 9xr pro its a zip file with like 5 files, which one do copy over to the sd card?
kenVersus ok thanks yea its the hi lighted one, just wanted to make sure. had to pause it to see cause it was so quick. i take it u renamed it also cause on the transmitter it has the 219x3 after it.
hi @kenVersus , I had build my new quad with flysky fs a8s rx. I have set d protocol to multi and select flysky. but seem cant quit bind to the receiver. wondering is this 4 in 1 multi protocal module bind all kind of receiver? thanks. hope to hear you soon.
I don't have that RX but I think it uses the newer AFHDS 2A protocol. I remember reading it was added to DeviantionTX.... but not sure if it's implemented into the 4in1 yet.... if it's available it should be a separate protocol in the menu, not FlySky. People on DeviationTX forum or RCgroups would have more info. Basically 4in1 works with lots of RX with different protocols but it depends if it has been decoded yet and then of course added into the 4in1 firmware...
Okay I looked at my Taranis, and there is an option for "FS 2A" in the latest version of OpenTX 2.2 RC366. I believe that one is AFHDS 2A. You can watch my latest video to find out how to install OpenTX on a 9XR Pro. ruclips.net/video/M0W5V5ksids/видео.html Thanks for watching!
hi ken, recently there is a new update on opentx 2.2.0 for 9xp pro. have u try? its seem cant work.. im downloaded and try to flash with my 9xp pro, its seem take ages. could u give it a try and lets me know how is u going. thanks... hear u soon.
The Taranis is definitely better in many ways. More 3pos switches, nicer gimbals, sliders, larger screen, builtin FrSky internal module. Turnigy 9XR Pro's gimbals have limited throws, mostly 2pos switches, small screen. It doesn't feel cheap, feels solid. If the 9xr pro was say $100+, i probably would pass on it, but at $60, it's awesome.
+Viktor Tech i think that ia6b uses FS2A protocol so it should work with latest 4in1 module firmware. But I don't have that rx so not 100% sure. Check out the newer stm32 4in1 multi module.
Hi Ken, I believe the very latest 9XR Pro uses a generic/clone processor so I was wondering if the 4 in1 module will work on this later model? I believe that this later units firmware can't be upgrade with openTX, see link; www.open-tx.org/downloads
BASIC TEXT EDITOR FREE WINDOWS APP...... WILL ALLOW ME TO SAVE ,without any grief .....for the code copy and paste, this is the key to open this path i believe

@Creed Brooks Flixportal :D
@Conrad Gideon Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I really appreciate it !
Whoa thank you for this! Was about to pull the trigger on a Devo 7e + 4 -1 module but, the soldering held me back. This seems much simpler!
+Remigio Isla-nd yeah I'd choose 9xr pro too. Although the 7e is nice and small which I like. I miss the 7e after i sold it.
Hoping that the price will drop back to $50 for Black Friday. Is this the same module in the link? www.amazon.com/Usmile%C2%AE-NRF24L01-CYRF6936-transmitter-toy-grade/dp/B01FX73JZ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479941124&sr=8-1&keywords=4+in+1+module
+Remigio Isla-nd looks like it.
You my friend, are an absolute legend!! Covered everything i wanted to know. Many thanks
Cool, thanks :) was waiting for a video like this for a long time
You're welcome. Thanks for watching. the 9xr pro is very good for it's price and makes it easier and inexpensive for people to use the multimodule.
Nice job. I would like to see a video on upgrading the firmware of the module itself. I've heard that is often required.
Just uploaded a video about it.
Fair enough. I'll check it out. Thanks Ken!
Thanks so much for your video. It was transmitter I have been looking for a 4in1 module. Thanks again for your help

Sorry Ken, but the link only shows firmware updates for ersky9x9xt. These updates don't work in my Turnigy 9xr pro.
Try here, www.er9x.com/
Nice job, nice vid. I want buy this one but i have a 9xrpro what model to choose for him?
+LarsDi doesn't really matter in serial mode. I'm Using the FRsky mcu baseplate in my 9xr pro. but flysky baseplate works too.
thx, this is it
Great video......thanks
I am new to this hobby and am getting frustrated with waiting for the 4 in 1 module, now I need to update it. Order and wait for more so I can update the module. Would you be interested in updating my module and flash ERSky9x firmware? I would ship it to you in a freight paid box and send money to your Pay-Pal. What do you think?
+David Farmer I don't do this since I don't have time. Check out the rcgroups forums. The GitHub will have lots of info.
github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/docs/Compiling.md
OK thanks
👍
You get FrSky telemetry on the Turnigy 9XR Pro with this module?
will this mod work with the jjrc x1? nice work, really good video. You seem to have a lot of knowledge.
+Phillip “RCshockz” not sure if it'll work. You have to find out what protocol the X1 uses.
+Sunny Jalaf make sure you have the latest 4in1 firmware. You may need to flash it.
This is the module I have
www.banggood.com/CC2500-NRF24L01-A7105-CYRF693-4-In-1-RF-Module-With-Case-For-Futaba-JR-Frsky-Transmitter-p-1116892.html?rmmds=mywishlist. Which I assumed is the same guts in a case.
+Dean Hallal I don't have that receiver but maybe you can try a different sub protocol for flysky. I think there is v912/v6x6/etc. The rcgroups forum might have some insight.
Curious with the 4 in 1 module. The dsm and flysky protocols uses different receivers right? Would it be able to bind to any receiver?
+Andre Martinez yes they should work.
Lack of a case isn't really a problem,
I have a cheap chinese 3d printer, and the price difference between the two is negligible.
Thanks! I think I'll go for the newer one.
+Darren Cruse im not sure about that one since I have the pro model... you'd have to ask some one with experienced on that.
Followed all the steps, but can't bind it to my Hubsan X4 H107C+. Any ideas?
+Cripsy Kreme are you using the right protocol for the quad? You might need to update the 4in1 module.
+Sunny Jalaf here's a site that shows how to set up with a 9x.
nathan.vertile.com/blog/2016/09/01/diy-4-in-1-module-with-er9x/
Thx for the video!
Can this 4 in 1 replace a frsky xjt module? I guess maybe it does the frsky protocol but without telemetry?
I would like it so I can use my radio for a tiny whoop, but if I were to bind to an xsr receiver in my bigger copter how do you think the range would compare to a frsky module?
Range wont' be as good as the FrSky module. Range on the 4in1 is probably 200m at best.
okay, thx for the reply.
Thanks for reply Ken, i bought this 4 in 1 module from banggood few weeks ago and isn't these modules comes with latest firmware preloaded?
+Sunny Jalaf they usually have out of date firmware.
Have you been able to bind with the horizon Inductrix fpv? I can not get it to bind... please help!!!!
+Christopher Doty I don't have that quad. Maybe someone in the rcgroups.com forums knows
thx, I found a few tip that helped. thx. Its still a bit buggy but I can get it to bind now.
How: Modules set to 6, 9rxpro set to ppm,30.5, 300u, negative, AETR.
here is what these guys have helped me with so far:
openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9681&p=123421#p123421
please give the firmware for turnigy 9xr pro.and if there is a more detailed manual on setting up
can not zabindit 2 receivers :2.4G 8CH D8 Мини FrSky
Frsky XM+ Micro D16 thank you very much in advance
hi pls could you do video on 4in1 multi board Firmware update........
nice video
Sure, i'll do a vid ifI upgrade mine. I don't see a need yet.
+David Farmer read this for more info. github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/docs/Tx-erSky9X.md
Helpful you are!
+PEDRO MARQUEZ maybe try "FS 2A" for protocol.
thank you for your information.
Hi, again. I just tried to bind my receptor with my new radio. Can you tell me step by step what can I do?
What model of the 4 in 1 module do you get if you have the 9xr pro? Frsky, Flysky, or JT? I know you said if you use serial mode it does not matter but what if we what to use ppm mode?
+Richard Trice Probably Flysky
How do you bind
Hi i have this tx with orange telemetry module.i like to bind it with my devo rx601 rwceiver. Could this be possible? I search many times in youtube but there's no tutorial here. So pls help
me so that i can fly my heli.
+Mojo Fly I don't have that receiver but it should work. The 4in1 supports the Devo protocol
dang! just watched, great vid. wish i would of ordered the 9xr pro, but already ordered devo 10. how bout range difference between them
They'd be similar. See this post about range:
www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=35359837&postcount=33
kenVersus thanks, that doesnt seem like that much, considering it says 2km on box lol. but at least in the 9xr pro u could swap in a long range module right?
Yeah, you can easily put in a FrSky module. The 4in1 module isn't really designed for long range. I don't know exactly how many mW. But it won't be a lot.
kenVersus i thought on the devo 10 with firmware u can put output to 150mw
hi, thanks so much for this video. i had just follow what u have told, i did success bind e010 or hubsan. but all of them got no respone to the transmitter, cant fly. what to u think i have done wrong? thanks hope to hear u soon.
+ryuuji L make sure you have set up the model properly for mixer and input. That's all I can think of
sorted... many thanks
Do you have any video recommendation for how to set up this 4 in 1 module for the Devo 8s?
+Cory Randolph your best bet is to ask on deviationtx.com forums.
Hello, I have TARANIS and this module.
Could I also control JJRC H36 ?
+Juraj Cs I'm not sure about that model since I don't have it.
Thank you very much
I found out that the JJRC H36 and Eachine E010 are the same. I use the E010 model and protocol to fly with my Turnigy 9XR Pro.
Thanks
+Richard Trice you need to update the 4in1. Not sure about ppm mode. I don't use it.
Sounds like another fun project, lol
+Richard Trice yup. They never make it easy. There is a video I made if you want some guidance. Read the github, and the rcgroups forum. That's how I learned to do it.
How does the 9xr Pro compare to the Devo 10 in terms of there gimbals?
For the Turnigy 9X, I picked Flysky.
Ok, Thank You
Friend, what a frustration.
I'll check the forums. Is it necessary to use arduino software anyway? Thank you very much for your attention.
+Fabiano Aguiar yes you need arduiono to compile the firmware.
Hi, my friend, I did everything as you said but I can not do it at all. Is it because my AVR card is a bit different? The red light on the card goes out does not blink like yours, what can it be?
+Fabiano Aguiar what quad are you trying to bind with?
kenVersus I bought this multi version 2.1c card with the Eachine X73 but also with the e010 and H36.
I bought a 9xrpro lol, gonna sell the devo i think. when u download the ersky9xrpro219x3 for 9xr pro its a zip file with like 5 files, which one do copy over to the sd card?
If you watch the video, you'll see it named. I don't remember off the top of my head. It should have 9xr in the file name.
kenVersus ok thanks yea its the hi lighted one, just wanted to make sure. had to pause it to see cause it was so quick. i take it u renamed it also cause on the transmitter it has the 219x3 after it.
Yeah I renamed it. If the name is too long, it looks weird on the transmitter menu.
hi @kenVersus , I had build my new quad with flysky fs a8s rx.
Basically 4in1 works with lots of RX with different protocols but it depends if it has been decoded yet and then of course added into the 4in1 firmware...
got it. total with you. love your work. keep it on... fully support your channel... thanks you so much for your help.
Okay I looked at my Taranis, and there is an option for "FS 2A" in the latest version of OpenTX 2.2 RC366. I believe that one is AFHDS 2A. You can watch my latest video to find out how to install OpenTX on a 9XR Pro. ruclips.net/video/M0W5V5ksids/видео.html
Thanks for watching!
hi ken, recently there is a new update on opentx 2.2.0 for 9xp pro. have u try? its seem cant work.. im downloaded and try to flash with my 9xp pro, its seem take ages. could u give it a try and lets me know how is u going. thanks... hear u soon.
ahh... i did it.. but seem cant bind the latest flksky rx fs a8s... :(
can we bind frsky transmitter module in 9xr pro to flysky receiver?
no it wont' work.
Hey great video!! Why is ur like dislike counter switched off?? anyways God Bless!! :D
there has to be some deficiency in this Turnigy compared to the Taranis, other than maybe build/reliability and quality
The Taranis is definitely better in many ways. More 3pos switches, nicer gimbals, sliders, larger screen, builtin FrSky internal module. Turnigy 9XR Pro's gimbals have limited throws, mostly 2pos switches, small screen. It doesn't feel cheap, feels solid. If the 9xr pro was say $100+, i probably would pass on it, but at $60, it's awesome.
very good vlog bro how much for a 3d case for the module?
+Mike Bemiller BG sells a module case. Link in the description. I think it's $5.
Will this work for the Ethos QX 130 drone?
+Cameron A you have to find out what protocol it uses. I don't own the drone.
oh oh you mean i can make FS-iA6B cheap reciever work with the 9xr pro in this way ??????????????
+Viktor Tech i think that ia6b uses FS2A protocol so it should work with latest 4in1 module firmware. But I don't have that rx so not 100% sure. Check out the newer stm32 4in1 multi module.
can use receiver xjt and djt?
+Iman Rahmat it supports FRsky protocol but I don't have those rx so wouldn't know if it works for sure.
Does this work with the 9xr
+jasonbrussmn it should. But updating the firmware is a bit different on the 9xr. I'm not sure since I only have the pro
Hi Ken, I believe the very latest 9XR Pro uses a generic/clone processor so I was wondering if the 4 in1 module will work on this later model? I believe that this later units firmware can't be upgrade with openTX, see link; www.open-tx.org/downloads
+Dazza Turnbull that's the 9X not 9xr. I got my 9xr a couple mounts ago and have no issues.
Oh yeah so it is, thanks for the quick reply What firmware/OS are you using in your 9xr pro?
I don't have the latest, I think it's ersky9x R219 from october.
Поддерживает протокол AFHDS ?
It should be supported by FS 2A protocol. Make sure you have latest firmware for transmitter and module.
i didn't get anything. everything just flew out of mind
so will this module work with a turnigy 9xr.... i dont have the 9xr pro ?
+bing quadby yes it should work with the 9xr.
BASIC TEXT EDITOR FREE WINDOWS APP...... WILL ALLOW ME TO SAVE ,without any grief .....for the code copy and paste, this is the key to open this path i believe
cool... make me 1 and sell it to me 😁
Your moving way to fast, so it makes what you are doing useless
