Hi, you are lucky : I had a copy of it, I uploaded the files to Dropbox, the url is in the description now.
Hope it is clean, I did not have any virus on my computer since that time so the risk is low but it's better to do your own check.

I want to simulate on my computer with this controller. But the signals are not connecting. The version of the controller is outdated. If I update this will it fix my problem? Can I simulate with the controller?

Hi, in my opinion the bootloader has no reason to have an impact on the outputs. It depence on which firmware you run, but you must take care to the followings :
      - select ppm output,
      - I'm not sure but OpenTX might have a PPMSIM option or protocol, which is dedicated to switch on the trainer outputs,
      - try with different timings between pulses in your ppm protocol. Some interfaces will not understand ppm with too short pauses between pulses.

@@Jean-RaoulThank you for your answer. I've been trying to connect the Controller to the computer and try simulation for about 1-2 weeks. But I couldn't find any video or article that solved my problem. My controller is Turnigy 9xr Pro. I tried to connect it with Arduino (Ardunio Uno CH340), I tried to connect it directly with the receiver (my receiver is frsky d8r-II plus), I tried to connect it with a microphone cable. And ıt does not work.I have ersky9x-r212 version installed on my controller. I can't find the PPM output partition from the controller. If it's in my version can you describe it to me? I don't know and can't find anyone who can help me. I've been dealing with it for 1-2 weeks and this is really starting to bother me.

I watched your crash. Fly with less power and setup carefully the center of gravity of your plane, if too rear it brings instability on nick axis.

Cant seem to find demo mode. I put everything into firmware and transferred to sd card put into tx and says no firmware available.
Cant read where your setting says on companion structure path is or back up, can yoi tell me?. Checked documents where you went for demo but only found back up so put that into companion settings back up location.
Could you tell me where demo is and where sd structure path is for companion settings please.

Hi, demo mode does not exist.
I just use a file named "demo" on the hard disk of the computer to store all the files before transfering them to the SD card. The 2 available modes in the TX are :
      - bootloader mode (possible running opentx or ersky9x),
      - maintenance mode (ersky9x only, just the time to flash the bootloader).
Not easy I know, that's why I created this video ;o)

Hello .. how did you use the 9x display? is the same pinout?

    • @Jean-Raoul
      @Jean-Raoul  2 года назад

Unfortunately not. The flexible connector of the 9X screen is flipped comparing to the one of the 9XR, and shifted by one pin. I bought this adapter, had to resize it because there is not much room in the 9XR Pro, and solder 28 very thin wires between this adapter and the main board. fr.aliexpress.com/item/32859470716.html?spm=a2g0o.9042311.0.0.27426c37pEqWUE
When you hold your tx for normal use, the pin 1 of the 9X lcd is on the right. It is not connected. Start wiring from pin 2 of the lcd and connect it to the track 30 of the connector on the main board and so on. You will finish by pin 29 of the LCD connected to track 3 of the board. Crazy job, needs small fingers and strong glasses, but it works.

I meet some problems of speach loss during the flights. I wanted to be sure that everything was the best I could do, even if the bootloader was not supposed to interact with this function. It had no effect, but now I'm sure.

@@Jean-Raoul I had similar issues - I had 15s voltage telemetry announcements and flight countdown announcements, and they would randomly stop after several minutes... I couldn't find any common thread... changed SD card, changed opentx versions, changed time interval, etc. It seemed that all sound and even haptic feedback just stopped, as I didn't even get the telemetry low voltage alert vibrations. I was going down the same rabbit hole, so thanks for doing this video! I've just tried the 1.9 bootloader also, but I don't have much hope it will do anything. Since erskytx has support for flashing multimod and sport, I may stick with that instead, or an older opentx version for this transmitter... newer versions are really buggy on on the 9xr-pro. It's a real pity, as multimodule support and USB simulator support would have been handy.
btw, I just noticed if I use the er9x firmware as a bootloader update source, it flashes v3.0 of the bootloader, even newer that what opentx is using ... and it still seems to boot opentx fine. Something else to try! :)
