DIY// TURN A PAIR OF MEN'S JEANS INTO A PENCIL SKIRT

Do you have a pair of pants that are just too big and you want to get rid of them? Don't! In this video you'll see how I #DIY (transformed) a pair of size 48 men's jeans into a pencil skirt for only $5.98 cents!
I did some sewing off camera but here are some of the main steps. Leave a comment if you have more questions. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1. Cut open the leg + crotch
Step 2. Measure the length you want your skirt
Step 3. Overlap your cut open legs to the other side of your jeans and pin where you'd like your slit to be.
Step 4. Sew open seam.
Step 5. Measure how much you'd like to take in at the waist.
Step 6. Remove pockets.
Step 7. Sew back seam closed.
Step 8. (optional for more snatchdness) take in more at the waist.
