    I have to try this. I've been wanting a denim skirt but don't like the upcycle versions that fold the crotch over to one side o r add fabric. This has the perfect flare at the hem.

    Great upcycle. I love the use of just the leg to creat a whole new skirt. the styling is inspirational.

    You are so creative and I love this so much! the shape really stood out to me in thumbnail because of that lovely flared hem - as others have mentioned it’s great to see an upcycle where you don’t have to hope for the best with the crotch seam, too, or feel that you look like you’re just wearing some cut-open pants. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Had to share!! I needed to wear black jeans and my youth ministry T shirt to church today. Have been out of town. Got home last night and realized ALL of my jeans are some shade of BLUE denim!! So thankful I had seen thus video weeks ago!! Laughing at myself because I did it from MEMORY using a pair of my husband's black jeans that I have in my upcycle stash. And a pair of my black jeans I had cut for a different project that wasn't coming together!! I got the job done but my zip is a bit off. I was able to hide my mistakes with the T shirt!! 😇 I will fix it later!! I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH!! You kept me from making a last minute dash to a box store!!!! 💜💜💜👩🏽‍🎨 God bless you more and more!!

    I absolutely love this. I love the way you flipped it and that made the bottom of the skirt perfect and leaving it raw was a perfect idea as well. I'm just not so sure about the whole zipper thing. 😱

    Or can use elastic in the top hem and pull it to your measurement ... It will adjust. So CUTE! The bigger the waist, the better flair...🎉

    What do you mean when you say slash and open? Do you mean cut the dart down the middle and press it open. I am confused, could you please do it on another video and show it to us.

    • @JenRestyleandFashion
      @JenRestyleandFashion  4 месяца назад

      Yes that’s exactly correct. You don’t have to do that method unless you feel there is significant thickness inside the seam
