@@danthecobbler it’s still scary going to the gym but I have a garage gym but it’s hard to know what to do so your point on being clear on a goal hit home. Looking forward to the next videos.
Hey Dan, my dad showed me your channel a while back, and I liked your videos. I'm starting back in the gym after mainly doing home workouts for years, so these videos are nice to see. This advice would have been super useful when I was a beginner. I'm mainly rock climbing now for the past two years, but strength training is great for overall health. I appreciate the way you make it accessible
Hello Dan! You explain everything clearly!👌 I' m exercise at home(cardio) but I'm thinking go to the gym for first time😳so I took note of your steps. Thanks for the video😊
Hello Dan, watching you from Japan. I would really like to know how was your mentality when you started working out, i.e. the first couple of years. Some splits you'd recommend to someone 1 year in his workout journey would be also lovely! Cheers!
I’d do push pull legs at year 1. My mentality at the start was purely enjoying lifting weights and training hard, also felt like the underdog showing the world because I was skinny but knew I could be great
Dan, do you have any recommendations for an app or a general system that helps keep track of what workouts we do, with how many sets and reps, and with what weights and all that? Also, I am particularly interested in some deep-dive videos on the topic of nutrition. Anyways, I’m glad to see you putting out a video like this, as all of the tips you listed were 100% something I needed to hear before I started working out 4 months ago. Thankfully I’ve been working with a great trainer and know most of these tips now, and it’s changed my life. I really wish I understood sooner, but better late than never! I’m 205 cm tall & 181 kg, so I have a ways to go, but I’m looking forward to being big like 💪 instead of 🦛 lol Keep on keepin’ on!
Hmmm not off the top of my head, there are loads of free programs online, have a look at Jeff nippard on RUclips he has great stuff and believe has a beginners program somewhere
Dan, it's like you read my mind. Lost 50 lbs (close to 4 stone) now I need to hit the gym and have no idea where to start so this is perfect!
Excellent perfect news!
