Hope you enjoy and learn something from this Deadlift tutorial guys, It took 15 hours to create! Just want to take a minute to thank the guys at Physique Fitness for letting me use the gym, and Chris Zero for being a very helpful camera man!
This is the level of detail I was looking for in the steps to deadlift. I have wanted to but any instruction has been almost useless and I'm not interested in hurting myself. While I have a physicaly demanding job this would certainly help my endurance. The challenge I face here in the states is the gym mentality and gym crowd. Either unwanted judgements, unwanted advice, unwanted staring, or never getting to the lift because of people hanging out and refusing to move. I wonder if the investment of buying it for home use would be worth it....
I had so many questions about the techniques used in power lifting. Now I know why flat soled shoes were used or bare feet, smelling salts and what exactly that was and the belt. I learned a lot, thanks.
I was a racing cyclist in the 70s & 80s, at the end of a hard season in 1981 I developed back pain. Doctors etc. could not find a problem. I went to an osteopath in 1983 who sugested my upper body muscles were weak and advised me to go to the gym and gave me weight exercises to strenghen my upper body muscles (and stretching); it worked ! No real back problems since then. I agree that lifting heavy weights is good for our backs !
Love this tutorial. The biggest issue I have with the deadlift is the limited amount of stations my gym has and the mental block of "I'm holding someone else's routine up with my weak ass lifts".
Though I don’t lift anymore due to medical condition I’ve got a few years of experience and this is hands down the best explanation/tutorial I’ve ever seen. Spot on Dan! Very informative and super easy to follow. So interesting to see you being an expert in more than one field 👏👏👏
Thanks for explaining the technique so clearly. Going to try it out later. Looking forward to some videos of other movements too. I find going to the gym a bit scary so tend to just stick to the garage gym at home so useful to have some tips. Good luck with the channel and your training.
could be fun trying to work out with you. Just got back into lifting again and honestly has been years since I did a deadlift properly. did do 140 ish kg the other day but I have a terrible back so the more I can focus on my technique the better. basically this video came at a perfect time.
Hey Dan your so good at always explaining everything you show us. 👍for that. I’m here for you AMAZING CARISMA and supporting you in this new channel. 😊
You boys love it when we girls do RDLs at the gym, don't you?? 😂😜🍑 After losing 23kgs since joining the gym in May, I have to thank my PT for intoducing me to RDLs. I lost my dumpy and want her back!

Now that’s flattering, double expert eh haha
You basically gave all the information that “others” charge money to give and still don’t do as well. 👌
Appreciate that man! It’s a bonus that I love making these sort of videos
Great tutorial Dan everything was explained well 👌💪
Thanks Rob!
Perfect tutorial, great tips, especially the spring one. 👍🏽
Hope it works for you if you try it!
AWESOME info
GREAT video!
Cheers man!
I used to weightlift in college, but I can no longer do it. I do miss it. My best friend and I worked out together encouraging each other.
Thanks
Poor Arctic Monkeys 😂😂. Seriously, great information. You present it so thoroughly.
Thank you it’s great to hear that as it takes some effort to be thorough and precise!
@@danthecobbler you do it wonderfully

Thanks I really like hearing that, good luck with giving it a try! I’ll be doing more movement type stuff
Where’s the power ranger? Also keep this going. You’re great- maybe a nutrition / cooking video will be a big one?
At the end haha, sure probably will do when I get some time!
I really like hook grip personally… but that’s probably because half of my training is olympic weightlifting. I just need it.

Impressive & well explained, thank you. I'm not far from Tring, remind me to not come to the shop & challenge you to an arm wrestle :-)
Customers get a free shoe repair if they beat me in an arm wrestle!
