The fan service is UNREAL. Not just the fact that it makes total sense that Jessica and Amanda are related. Anyone catch the bar fight is started by "Lizzie Ann"... Jessica's unseen enemy from a single throwaway line from Karate Kid 3? Referring to why she seemingly broke up with her boyfriend: "Elizabeth Ann Rooney happened to him... traitor...". These writers are insane, and I love every bit of it.

@@theoutsiderjess4869 I mean to be fair here, Daniel was ultimately correct about everything so far. Cobra Kai coming back was a problem - even if the Miyagi-do war didn't start, it turned the students into bullies. Kreese would have wormed his way back to Johnny even without the war and made the corruption worse showing that Daniel was correct to be wary of Johnny and Kreese. Kreese overthrowing Johnny was inevitable and making things, and Terry coming in. All of these events would have taken longer to happen but would have happened eventually. The egos of the teachers and students were a bomb fit to burst.
So Amanda should have really gotten a clue by now that when Daniel has an issue, maybe there actually IS an issue.
I remember being so confused when I first saw Jessica in Cobra Kai but then I saw a flash black of her at the bar with Daniel in The KK3. After that I was so glad to see her.
I didn't know who she was until the flashback and then i was so happy

I never thought that I would see Jessica Andrews again. I had no idea that she was related to Daniel LaRusso's wife Amanda. Being his wife's maternal first cousin. It was so nice of her to hook up Daniel with her cousin. Because of this, now Jessica Andrews is now part of Daniel LaRusso's family.

Who would win Chozen, Daniel, & Johnny & his gang or Elizabeth & her gang? I wish Amanda had learned how to fight from Daniel then she would had fixed those assholes. Also I hope they bring Robin back again to play Jessica again in the future and Sean as Mike so he can apologize to her like he did with Daniel.

I didn't even realize until the second time I watched this episode that Amanda's cousin was the girl from Karate Kid Part 3, which Daniel had a crush on. I was blown away! I just couldn't figure out how Daniel's former crush was related to his wife? But the more I thought about it, the more it made some sense. I just never picked up on the fact of who she was. Even when she mentioned something about rock climbing. She looks SO different now.
Of course she looks so different now, she's over 30 years older now

What I love about this show is that it doesn't try to be more serious than it is.

If I saw this scene when I was younger, I would thought it was just forced writing. As it turns out, plenty of people like Lizzie Ann exist.
Yeah, particularly in Cleveland, I've heard that there are alot of miserable hateful fight starting boozers there, so this episode portrayed the type of women you find there like Lizzie Ann quite accurately. And Amanda's family was supposed to be in a Cleveland suburb, wasn't it? We only saw a female brawl there but if Daniel or any of the other series' male protagonists were there, I guarantee that Daniel or whoever would've had someone picking a fight with them.
Those bar women really were just like typical bar women in Cleveland. Also, even though that ice hockey rink Johnny took Daniel to was in California, those pissed off bully hockey players came across as the typical guys you'd come across in Cleveland. I haven't been there myself but I've heard from so many people over the years that that's how people really are in Cleveland, they are freakin mean and are just mad at the world.

Personally I'd like Julie Pierce to stay out of the Series.

@@BumblebeeTuna8 Dutch doesn't want to come back that's the only reason he hasn't been on the show. The way I see it, if she wants to do it, I don't see anything wrong with her coming back, she is part of the Miyagi-verse if you like it or not. Each guest appearance from former Karate Kid co-stars has been surprisingly good for the story. In Julie's case I can see the same scenario playing out.
@@wrecklessintent7638 if you wanna see Julie that bad then let them make a spinoff Movie or a Separate Series/Miyagi Do, but this is Cobra Kai and Julie has done nothing to help Miyagi Do whatsoever and it's even questionable if She kept up with her Karate.

Looks like a restaurant/bar to me. As an adult, I did not find it weird at all. Kids are allowed to go into plenty of sports bars, and this is the type of place that has classic arcade games. I've been to "bars" like that and I always see adults who bring their kids. Not saying it's right or wrong, just that it's not that weird to me. And "bar fight"... I don't know what other phrase you would use to describe it.

Is it me or is every single person on Cobra Kai too overly sensitive? Every single solitary insult turns into a fisticuffs. I guess no character on this show with maybe the one exception of Daniel when he tried to avoid getting into a fight against a hockey team, has ever tried to just walk away from a fight.
Daniel trying to descalate that fight didn't even work, the hockey players still approached him after the game repeating what Johnny told him Daniel said, "So, you can kick my ass, anytime, any place!?". And that was after Daniel already denied saying that once already, but the bully hockey player apparently refused to believe him. The thing is though, the hockey player didn't know Daniel or Johnny, so why did he believe Johnny telling him that Daniel said that but wouldn't believe Daniel denying saying it?
Wow uh when I saw Jessica again I'm like did Amanda know Daniel kind of tried to get with her back in the day I assume so anyway. Shame it took Jessica for Amanda to finally understand.
