Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, RUclips and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!

You do a great service to everyone by making your challenges transparent and addressing them outright. Again, thank you! One question, have you ever thought of going to your schools disabilities office and asking for a private room to take your exams. Also, asking for extended time. I wonder if these would help you? Just a thought. Here in the US, it's my daughter's legal right.

Hey Zara you probably won’t see this comment but I think you are wonderful and you make my day even if I don’t relate to most of this it still so reassuring to learn about Tourettes syndrome and have more empathy for people with Tourettes you make my day I swear ❤❤
Also, I have a question, is there a difference between anxiety tic and Tourettes? idk if I have Tourettes Syndrome or if I just have anxiety tics. I have this neck twitch and this weird head twitch and sometimes my abdomen twitches as well I think it may just be anxiety i’m not a hundred percent sure but just a question

If you dont mind me asking, do they have specific in school care programs where youre from?? im from the US and am legally disabled (autism, genetic disorder, among other things) and i had an IEP (individualized education program) and a 504 which is similar to an IEP, but to a lesser degree. i basically had a school aid with my in case i needed anything and i got to leave my classes early to avoid crowds in the halls. i had specialized hall passes and could get up and leave my classes whenever i needed to. i also had more lenience with tests, the time to finish assignments etc! im always just curious to learn about in school resources like that from other countries :)
