You're doing the Lord's work
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Dude! Cool idea! I'm surprised the Rage was this good, I did not expect that. The Bandit was too scooped to my ears. Supreme 160 was sick as well!
I've had a difficult time getting a good mic'd sound from the Bandit. They have such a great room sound, I just can't get that sound to translate with a mic.
The 1st Rage sounds the best
It was great right off the bat
actually agree, wtf why dont i have this?
Supreme sounded so darn good with suprisingly the Rage as a second.
The dimed Studio 40 was amazing to me. My wife preferred the Bandit. But the Supreme, frankly, is.
The Bandit was instant Burzum once you kicked in the saw.
Top 3 for me are Rage in 3rd, Supreme 160 in 2nd and the VTM 120 in 1st... wait....
;)
PEAVEY CULT
LOL, still looking for one!
Damn.. I need to get my old Bandit 65 out of the basement and try it with the HM-2...
You could try the low input and/or crunch channel on the 5150.
Peavey studio pro 40 not maxed out sounded the best.
The 5150 sounded gnarly as hell but the Supreme was my favourite. Gets closer to the Swedish death metal tone IMO. Great video!
The Bandit 112 sounds much better in person than on the video
Peavey Bandit 112 Sheffield or Scorpion?
Sheffield 1230
My first pedal and my first new amp was the same studio pro 40 and the HM-2 totally horrible and I loved it
Any amp sounds great with a good pedal.
I‘m gonna go with the super unpopular opinion and say I liked the 5150 the most. But then again I‘m more into a metallic hardcore/metalcore sound than I am into a swedish chainsaw sound. I do own an hm2 clone and love it.
I might get a rage for recording I was pleasantly shocked
I used to practice at bedroom volumes with the hm2 and a small gorilla! Bone saw..
Why the cable in the return and send?
Evh did it for me.i didn't expect that to be my choice.
love the supreme need one :P
Absolutely my favorite amp. I would like to find a Peavey VTM.
@@HM2CULT hard to find too here :/
Slightly related, I’ve got a VTM 120 and I have the hardest time getting the saw out of it.
I’ve got a Walrus Red in front of it and it chainsaws on all my solid state equipment. But as soon as it’s in front of the VTM no matter the settings it doesn’t do THE sound.
The VTM is one of the optimum amps for an HM2. That's strange. Are you turning the amp up loud enough? Tube amps need to be pushed for proper tone. I had to use an attenuator in this video to get the 5150 loud enough to sound good.
I’m sure it’s just my predicament. The vtm had its bright cap cut, and a mercury magnetic a transformer put in it. I’ve also got it through a 2x15 cab and I’m cranking it. I’m sure the rig may just have too much bass to get the true hm2 out of my Walrus Red
@@WTC1022 I had a similar issue with my vtm until I rolled the distortion all the way back on the hm2, or in my case a behringer hm300. It's the best hm2 pairing in my opinion. I specifically bought the vtm because I like black breath and that's what they use
Dude I love your videos... I have recently acquired a peavey supreme and I have a few hm-2 style pedals... Can you share you amp settings with me?
Edge +1.5, body -1.5, bottom +3, supersat 4, gain IN, shift OUT. High gain input.
@@HM2CULT thanks homie! Rock on \m/
Try a peavey rock master preamp Terry
Can you review the boss metalcore pedal ?
If I come across one to borrow, or is dirt cheap I will.
Peavey Bravo 112 + Boss HM-2 ???
5150, by the way could you please try with 6505mh? I was wondering if that sounds good as well
I have a 6505+ and I can't get a great HM2 tone for some reason
How use Peavey Supreme 160 with cabsim?
Of course you can dial in the Bandit to sound like ass. ;P
I have the Teal Stripe Bandit shown in the demo and it kicks ass especially with an HM-2, no idea why it sounded so bad, the guy from the channel mentioned he had some trouble getting a good mic'd up sound, if it was mic'd up properly I reckon it would probably sound the best out of all of them.
Ever tried it with a Peavey Musician Mk. III?
I have not. I might be at my max for peavey amps as of now. Unless a VTM becomes avail...
insane video, but you need to be in B!!!
I've been searching for the "holy grail" for amps compatible with the HM2 and out of the 8 amps i have only 2 of them really work well and thats the Boss Katana and oddly enough the Carvin V3. The V3 is my least favorite amp on its own but with the Bear Amps Heavier Metal or the LHW Deluxe it screams.
