Something I’ve really been trying to educate myself on and learning about and this is the best explanation I’ve come across that I can share with friend. Thank you man!
I've heard "Bounce, bounce, BOUNCE" all week long on these different videos: YOU explained it! Perfect!
Best video i've seen on bounce.. I once spoke with Bob Vokey at the arnold palmer invitational, 20 minutes later I still didn't understand.
Great Job!!
Just subscribed! For everyone who looks at comments first 🙋♂️ this is a very good explanation for bounce as advertised!
Thx! I'm slowly improving my game over the course of decade(s) of increasing effort. 100yds to green is undoubtedly the biggest unchecked leak for me. I dream of confidently chipping with lofty bounce.
Love the in-depth explanation and presentation of the shots and varying ideas behind them! Really helpful video to understand this stuff for me being a beginner. Thanks a lot deserved the like will check your other videos. cheers
Thank you! Haven't gotten 2 mins into the video and I am grateful
Great explanation and tips on the bounce and the condition.
Best explanation I ever have on how to use the bounce
Great explanation of the course and lie conditions. Usually those details are totally ignored. Great job.
Best video on bounce. A video on the differnt Wedges + full face, grind, and grooves would be nice. Lob shots what club to use. Get spin on a ball asf
great video! great explanation about bounce
Now, this makes logical sense! Thank you.
Really clear and precise. Very helpful.
Good info man .👌🏴
Very good, opening or closing clubface depends on fairway conditions, bounce not always needed.
Thanks for the video Josh. Question for you: what do you feel when you hit a shot when adding bounce? Do you feel the club hit the turf AND hit the ball also? Or do you just feel the club hit the ball?
Loved this video
great tutorial 🎉 best on wedge
This is a great video. I don't think enough instruction on using the bounce lets amateurs understand that it's ok to come in 1 or 2 inches behind the ball at a shallow angle, and that that's where the bounce is your best friend. Too many people try to pinch it off the turf, and then when the blade it enough, they move the ball further and further back in their stance, thinking that will give them ball first contact.
Great video!
Best explanation 👌
Great video
This is awesome stuff
So, in wetter conditions you can add bounce by opening the face but in tight, dry conditions or if the ball is sitting down in something, you need to go with the ball first technique. Or for dry, tight lies, you need to get a wedge with less bounce and go with the open face shot again? Doesn't that suggest you really need a wet wedge and a dry wedge? Is that the point?
That was good info.
excellent. i mean other than the brown belt and white shoes. otherwise, brilliant!
Do I still use bounce when hitting pitch shots from 50 to 100 yards?
Have a stupid question that maybe someone can help with. Am I supposed to use this technique with my irons as well? I know I shouldn’t open my face up with a 7 iron obviously.. I’m just wondering if a good player feels like they’re using whatever small degree of bounce on their irons to give themselves some wiggle room.
is a chip shot without bounce, leading edge down. and a pitch shot with bounce?
I am not hitting off concrete
Did you say Atlantic City country club?
