3:23 The ROM size for this game is 40KB, which for NES standards is the smallest size carts ever released on: it was the file size of launch titles like Super Mario Bros, so more features and content would *absolutely* be possible.
Yeah, also is the easiest size to make a real nes cart of. The later NES games required different boards with all sorts of different things. Making some games really hard to make repros of.
@@ppprime98K this is because the nes can only have 40kb ROM loaded into its memory at once, any higher amounts require a memory mapper i don't think you need a special chip though
The only mobile rhythm game I would recommend is Phigros since most of these games are money grabbing scams, if you really want to review something like Voez or Arcaea, get the Switch version.
3:31 ↓ As far as I know, save files COULD be implemented, the dev has to choose another type of cartridge in the ines header (especially, the battery-backed ram bit should be turned on) Few games for the NES (Like Zelda or Final Fantasy) came with that equipment, as it was kinda expensive
After playing the whole game and passing every difficulty, I agree with this rating. I picked up the controller and instantly smiled at how bubbly and creative the whole song list is with time signature differences between songs and the variety of atmospheres from track to track. Some of the 11s and 12s were tough with the quarter note jump streams and Space Journey was definitely a challenge of its own. For a game made on 40 year old hardware by one person, it's for sure worth trying once.
"If you don't have an NES, SNES, or any controller resembling it, you probably won't enjoy this game that much." *laughs in solo keymaps on an emulator* all jokes aside, for being made for an NES, this is pretty cool

@@ppprime98KThere was a chip that allowed for more storage right? forget the name of it
@@bundesrepublikdeutschland7282 Yeah, but it depends what your goals are and how are you gonna manage the memory

Rythm gamers when they see the Google chrome game today: I'm a god at this watch me destroy this game
I suck at rhythm games so I didn't do all too well
You should try reviewing a mobile rhythm game next! Something like Arcaea would be nice, but any game's fine :) Just a lil' suggestion.
Most of them suck unless u play them on a tablet sadly
