This episode was released in the best nerd-age of my life. 2005 when I was 17, turning 18. I had the most cozy of room for my PC, TV, console and even two other desks for LAN with my cousin and brother from time to time. My bedroom was on the opposite side of the house and I swear I never slept as good as I did when I was finally sleeping in a different room than I was used to always game in. Funny how sleeping in a separate room than the one you spend 16 hours a day in (minus school in weekdays) feels so much more refreshing. I remember watching this episode in my room. Chilling and just enjoying life with absolutely no pressure whatsoever (I didn't care about school and exams, so that was not a pressure). I regret nothing. I only regret I cannot go back to that time and do it over again. MAYBE spend an hour more a day just doing school work.. but other than that, nothing. It was such a wonderful time.
Absolutely this. I was in a junior in high school when this came out. Me and a bunch of my friends in HS were running a clan on counter strike source, I had just built my first ever gaming PC, and had finally convinced my parents to get DSL in the house.
I remember my mother telling me I was "wasting my youth" one day. I don't think so. I have so many precious memories from my youth. A friend recently found some old videos from that time. Just some really mundane day to day stuff. Having seen those, my only real regret is all the moments that haven't stuck in memory, because at the time they didn't stand out or feel important. In hindsight, it was exactly the everyday life that defined that time. All we can do now is know to appreciate the mundane more, because some day it'll become the "good old times".

This is the first time, i heard teh masterer saying "Put that noob on the phone!", when Kyle passed it to Jeremy. And i don't remember how many times i've watched it in the past and never noticed :D.

Yeah thats true. At that time not many people made money on RUclips. Nowadays even with mediocre content you can make millions of dollars on RUclips. They all would have been rich if they made those videos 10 years later
"but the rogue doesnt know hes not MT tonight" would most likely refer to the phenomenon of high burst DPS classes pulling all the aggro from the tanks by not practicing proper restraint. This often puts more strain on the healers and endangers the success of the mission.

When this video first came out, me and my wife played together side by side, some days we would take the kids to school, run back, start playing till it was time to collect them , then after collecting them one of us would carry on playing. We shared this vid together and laughed and sang it together. Years passed by and my son aged 8 wanted to play, so he made a character. He would play, and not want to come off. We set time limits and boundaries and he would break them, we deleted the game and he would go round his mates and play. We got rid of the computer. He watched videos about it on his phone. As he entered his teens his life became world of warcraft. He could tell me the lore of any character in the game or the precise rotation needed by a class on a certain boss stage, became one of the top 5% of players in Europe. After leaving school he was immersed in the world. His benefits bought him a computer and an account and he played 14 hours a day and more. We would switch off the electrics to end his sessions because he was incapable of coming off independently. The arguments about warcraft distanced him from us. His relationship with his Mum broke down. They grew apart. I fought to keep us together, but we had to give him an ultimatum. Abide by our rules or leave. Aged 19 he left home as we "threw him out" by taking him down housing. He was in a homeless hostel playing WOW. His room had a hundred and twenty litres of diet coke and I dont know how many half eaten rotting pizzas. I would clean his room and the next week it would be back. He's 23 now. The argument's and regrets were part of why my wife left. 6 weeks ago, he deleted his account and told me "I've wasted my life" , Blizzard design the game to addict vulnerable minds. As I sit here , My sons life in ruins, my wife a hundred miles away I watched this vid and sang the words that made us laugh so long ago. "World of warcraft is a feeling...who needs a social life"
