Thanks for this, I struggle with the confidence to compete with local agencies but I realize that not every agency is reaching out to potential clients. I've found multiple restaurants in the area without sites.

I did reach out to a law firm that had a Google Business Profile and phone number but no website. It was not successful (yet? I am still available LOL!). He had several awesome reviews! According to his office staff, he mainly goes into places like nursing homes to offer his attorney services, so perhaps he is so busy that he does not see a need for a website.

These are some great methods! Thank you! Also, Id click on all of the businesses that have a website too and see if its a bad looking one. Those are my favorite! They understand the value, and they probably built it themselves so understand the work it takes to make one. Send them a sample home page of what you can make a refreshed website for them look like and it helps them visualize working with you and get excited (;

@@karennzilani9484 Making homepages in advance using templates is a great way but a lot more effort then just exporting an excel sheet and calling everyone. Just use the same template for each one and change the name and images

Hi. You said that you prefer work with people already know value of have a website, but how do you know this people? If someone already know this value how can you build a website for them?
They have websites that are not optimal, but at least they have one so they know the value of having one

But if a business already have a website, do you redesign their existing website or you create a brand new one ?
I would say re designing and creating a new one are the same? Re designing goes further than just changing colours, fonts and images. As soon as you change structure and layout too, then it is a new website.

I need two websites but haven’t been able to hire anyone because it’s hard to explain what I’m looking for. It’s easier for me to identify what I don’t want rather than to articulate what I do want. Additionally, being on a teacher’s salary limits my options. I think my choices are to keep trying to do it myself, use an AI site builder, or just continue without a website.
Not being able to articulate what you want is normal. It’s our job to ask leading questions to start to uncover what you NEED. Your budget is your budget, and there is always a solution somewhere in the middle.
There are pleanty of DIY website tools available that will do a basic job for you. Maybe try that first and if you find that your website isn’t doing what you need it to do, the explore other options.

I wouldn’t say one is better than the other.
Im making 6k/day now. I just call these resturants and make their websites, I charge 2k each and just outsource to my employees.
