      The tile patches to seal the old mounts is a galvanized steel product. They make it in various materials and finishes your local hardware store should have a few options.

    I have the exact system and it’s 14 years old. My roof needs to be replaced and all the local dealer wants to do is sell me a new panel system for the pool heater but my panel system still heats the pool wonderfully. I’ve upgraded the electronics at the pump along the way, but I don’t see anything that wears out on the roof panels. Mine are still pliable they flex but I can’t get anyone to reinstall them so I’m doing it myself. No one wants to take liability I understand but they work perfectly. The sun hits them in the water heats up in my pool gets warm. Nuff said😂

      Yes, a solar pool heating system works incredibly well, doesn't cost anything to operate, and last a long time. Thank you for sharing your experience.

    are you going in to the truss or just the decking for the header bracket?

      For a comp asphalt shingle roof it's good practice to hit as many truss' as you can, but some may not line up depending on the spacing and roof type so into the underlayment is ok as well.

    Are there any guidelines regarding those 90 degree curves and water pumping losses? Should they be smoothed out?

    • @solarpoolsupply9793
      @solarpoolsupply9793  Год назад +2

      Standard 90's are okay as long as you don't use them excessively. using 45's in places where you can will help. There also 90 "sweeps" which have a longer smoother radius.

      SwimJoy is the most durable and longest lasting, so one of the best. Not every installation and climate is the same so we pair a product based on a few variables it's not always the same recommendation.

      Solar pool heating systems will pay for themselves within 2-3 years in comparison to the costs of running a gas or electric heater. After that it's virtually free so you will get 12-20 years of free pool heating. Absolutely worth the investment!
