- All about the morning market.
I wanted to check out Vang Viengs morning market. However, since it is a little more to the north, I had to rent out a bike for this journey!
The market was phenomenal. The way it moved swiftly, yet was so calm and quiet. Not to mention the amazing scenery in the background!
The people were also just over the top friendly and I would recommend this market to anybody that is passing through.
The highlight of the day had to be the khao jee and the lao sausage! However, make sure to try as much as you can while you are here and let me know what you enjoy the most!

You can just google it as it is situated a little north of the main part of Vang Vieng. I would recommend a taxi or getting a bike to go to the market. I am unable to tag the location, so sorry about that.
Today was a super fun and well, not like I expected day. However, sometimes you just have to learn how to roll with the punches and take the day for what it is! No matter what it was a great experience and I learned so much from everything that happened.

Every time I see Laos food it makes me wanna run to the market and grab the ingredients and make them at home.

NIce video. Its not so bad over in the countryside in Laos. My bus flew off the road in North Laos. It was scary. We were going 60 mph and we flew off into a kind of swamp about 6 feet down from the road.

We eat those raw chili and vegetables by dip in shrimp paste and eat after you eat the noodle 😄 I love Khao Piek

When I was in Laos, I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the market and street food lifestyle as much. Definitely would have made my experience much better.

I went to Laos last year with my family to visit my grandparents. It was my first time there and it was beautiful.
I was born and raised in the U.S but Lao is in my blood so having to connect to my culture and my family homeland it was amazing.
I never wanted to leave haha!:)
