I’m asian(from Singapore), and I consider my self moderately adventurous when it comes to street food, but I think I might be a little cautious when it comes to the raw laab meat. You sir are a true foodie. Respect!
I LOVE that you love all the funky stuff that ppl usually wouldn’t like like the som tam and raw larb. Those are also some of my favorites And I can see that you can definitely take spice!!! I love spice as well!! Yet another amazing video Max 😊
I’m Thai but can’t eat chili 🌶 much like this😁 You’re so cool👍🏻👏🏻 respect . And raw laab I really like especially Northern laab, please try someday. Enjoy Thailand Trip🙏🏻 and always welcome
Hi Max I am Thai and watch many of your videos. I am impressed that you eat Thai food like a local. And today, unbelievable, you come to my house. I live on the opposite side of Soi Silom 20. And eat everything in the market that you eat. The world is getting smaller and smaller every day.
You make everything look so yummy. What We love about you is your honesty with all the likes and dislikes. Great content as always a big thanks from us.x
Hi Max Love your presentation, never seen anybody eat as much chilli as you do,I was able to in my younger days, but not now,do you ever have any stomach problems?keep on chosen down cheers from Australia.

Max you are 1 in a million !! Truly you are one of my favorite food gurus!!!! Luv that you luv the food & culture of many countries .. Buddha bless you my friend!!! XOXOs from NJ USA 🇺🇸
My deepest respect to you for being able to tolerate those heat of spicy foods...my stomach is not that tolerant, everytime I ate something spicy, I'll always end up in the loo the next morning 😅
You ate a few of my favorites. I really love grilled pork with sticky rice and those traditional desserts wrapped in banana leaves. From one Southern boy to another, your videos are entertaining.
@@Macoi24 Born and raised in LA (Lower Alabama), and like you, have the travel bug. My wife is from Bangkok, where I lived for about four years! Now we call Asheville, North Carolina home. Probably next Spring we will be flying to Bangkok for a visit. Maybe we can meet up one day, somewhere. Keep having fun! That custardy dessert, btw, is a custard make with rich coconut cream and duck eggs. So tasty! If you have a chance, try the dessert stand at one end of Soi Rambuttri (a road down a bit from Khao San). Their iced desserts are really good. Take care.
Major Allen Espy yeah brother just stay connected. I have a FB group that’s just a really personal group but it’s up to date on all my travels. And thanks for the tip! Will be back in BKK a little later this year so will check it out
Actually the biryani rice is basmati, the grains are longer and less starchy. The common rice in Thailand is jasmin its grain is a bit shorter and starchier(?) Its more like sticky. Between... I stumbled on your Videos 2 days ago and I have to say. Good job i'm a fan
Hahaha I had the exact same experience at Som Tam Jay So. The lady asked if I wanted spicy, I said yes, and she proceeded to rib me as I sweated like a madman devouring the plate of Som Tam and making sure not to dishonour my family by tapping out! Came back a few more times during my trip-BBQ meets were great too. Really friendly and welcoming people. The sticky rice with kaya at soi silom 20 really was something else... just salivating thinking about it 🤤
Hey Marx, Isaan foods never put fermented tofu in neither raw laab or cooked one. in the raw, just put the cow blood and the cow gall ( if asked for) to that raw beef. Only the Chinese (techew) kind of foods that use red beancurd in Thailand.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful trip in Thailand 👌👌👌and you really love spicy food 👏👏👏Thai food makes me hungry 😋😋😋Have a safe and fantastic trip in Thailand 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love this video!!! Looking forward to these dishes you tried. But if you can add the price on the video would be great. Saying the price in video is fine but adding caption to video is more convenient. A lot of my family watching your chanel

Wow the food there is fantastic, I have some Thai friends and they are middle aged, very traditional Thai customs. I’ve tried Larb and it’s delicious 😍 I look forward to more of your videos, these are way cool, I enjoy them all. Thanks max
Haha, I've heard of the term lip-smacking enjoyment but you certainly showed us what it's all about when you had that Thai Tea-Coffee! Haha, that chopstick boo-boo was hilarious. I never would have noticed had you not owned up to it. Regardless, you are skillful with the chopsticks, better than most people I know. And with people I mean myself. The sticky rice with sangkhaya ... wow! I can have that but with more of the custard puhleeease! :) I can feel the sugar rushing through my veins like someone had opened the floodgates wide open. As usual, you are a delight to watch. Keep going, Max ... you will get to 100k soon!
Hey Max , How r you doing ? That was just great as usual . The chicken and rice reminded me so much of my grandmothers . I'm sure it's made exactly the same way , but with different seasonings. We call it arroz con pollo. Man do I miss her cookin' . Sorry man can't do the raw meat or the offals but , I do like to see others eat them for the shock value , lol. When you ate the lobb , I noticed that the leafy greens were so fresh that they were slightly bug eaten. That's fresh and right out of somebody's garden . I love that. I noticed also not just here but in many of the places you've been to , they serve tons of greens to add to other dishes . It's such a healthy way to eat. Well hopefully one day I'll get to taste some of them myself. You got the life bro. Can't wait to see the next one . Sorry for the book
never apologize for writing a lot! I enjoy reading it! Ohhhh man, you talking about arroz con pollo gets me excited to get back home.... yeah, the fresh veggies is such a plus for me, I could snack on those all day!
