@JSTONE9352 They seem to get some great concerts at the Bitter End. I saw John Wicks & The Records play there several years back and it was an amazing night. I think they recorded live there too, just like Tommy.
How in God's name it's Tommy James not in the Hall of Fame when the other musicians but he is 10 times better than I don't understand it these guys and put these musicians in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I just a bunch of haircuts they put into the water if they don't like it they don't put you in simple as that!
First recorded by Gene Pitney. It's an interesting story how Tommy James with "help" from Roulette Records President Morris Levy lifted this tune away from Gene Pitney. You can read about it in Tommy James book, "Me, The Mob, and The Music", Pages 111>112. Great tune, it's easy to understand why Tommy wanted it.
T.J.& S’s…always loved this band since 67. And TJ still has a golden voice.
I think this song is just about the most beautiful one I’ve ever heard 😊
Happy tune, makes you want to get up and dance!
A great tune and a nice performance. Still sounds great years later.

Gosh, I thought the base player was a woman from a distance, playing in her bra. Doesn’t anybody look in a mirror any more?
