Yep, I have several+ I5r's, but now have 4 Sabers, the Saberis best for an aux maintenance light I use in a automotive shop, I5r I prefere for normal aux edc. I say a7x as I always carry a 18650 light as main light. Oth are great and you can not go wrong with either.

The Olight is heavily regulated to get better run times, especially when using an AA. I get the Olight for non-flashlight people, because they’re not likely to buy additional 14500 batteries.

The ramping on the saber is very frustrating. If you ramp up half way and then decide you need more juice you cannot continue upwards. Nope! You have to go back to zero and start again. 🤦🏼‍♂️
Can you imagine if you were driving across country to a destination and then you wanted to continue in the same direction but you have to go all the way back home and then come back again ! 😅
