    Love your channel brother and the young man you’re working with today that is a dual citizen👍 His brother is a Marine - Semper Fidelis 👊 From a retired still a Marine! I wish you were here in North Carolina! I have several 100’ trees needing taken down. One recently fell hitting a Pecan tree, which saved my house. We are waiting on a company until the end of August to remove the trees (3) for $7000.00. One tree hangs over the house. I wish I was young again to do what you do. You are truly gifted!!

    39:55 Those LogRite tools are excellent, but for the larger diameter wood they make a bigger hook - you can put it on the smaller blue handled tools, or they have a thicker walled tool with a yellow finish that is stronger. With the bigger hook it's easier to get a bite on larger diameter wood. The "Mega Hook" can be put on their 60" peavey, which makes a very useful tool.

    The 2511 caps are a pain due to the concave shape of the cap. The fact that it's not flat, and shaped as such, provides a negative pressure gradient. The saws' only flaw, in my opinion.

    Idk if the guys at Big R use ethanol free fuel? But, the first saw I had was an older poulan and if I used fuel with ethanol the cap would swell and become very difficult to open. I would have to open it, drain the fuel and let it "dry" for a day to get it to fit right. Idk maybe that will help?

  • @happycamper6352
    @happycamper6352 8 месяцев назад

    Tulip trees can be fun to cut because they make weak saws look strong and strong saws look like harvesters. My only concern with them is that I have to remember to respect the fact that their brittle nature means they have a tendency to snap much earlier in the cut compared to other local species. Many people call them "tulip poplar" here as well. The wood gets insanely light when dried, it isn't really structurally strong, but can be good for siding, and it burns really hot for only a very short time and then it's gone. I have trouble calling it a "hardwood". We need a new classification called "deciduous softwood" for tulip trees and "evergreen hardwood" for fir.
