These are videos from my trip to South Carolina. You'll see Norfolk Southern locomotives shunting autoracks in the Port of Charleston yard part of 237. One of my goals was to look for something on the Washington Street Spur to Union Pier Terminal but, nothing went down. The auto exports were moved out years ago but, I passed by and they're currently getting covered hopper cars but, other than that, it's just the cruise ship operations. On July 31st, there was an NS Dash 9-44CW moving the cars. The sides of it looked like the engine had burned. As of now, Norfolk Southern has only nine active Dash 9-40C's on the roster so, they're getting to be not as easy to find anymore. On August 1st, the Amtrak Palmetto no. 98 comes through Goose Creek on Liberty Hall Road. A Palmetto switcher and an NS GP38-2 are also seen in the yard. The GP38-2, NS 5113 was also a former high short hood unit that's been rebuilt.

I work at Norfolk Southern as a PTI Driver in Charleston. It’s very fun driving for the crew. Some of them are very nice and friendly. I bet you filmed this from The Ravenel Bridge.

What radio frequency are you using to listen to the switching being done by Norfolk Southern just out of curiosity and that’s a very interesting view of the trains switching around the yard nice shot of the train building and the high and wide equipment sitting in the yard is a bonus

USARailfanProductions honestly, I can’t remember which one I was on. I was still learning the frequencies at the time. You may be able to look on radio reference, but don’t take my word for it.
