  • I revise the Austin location where the former "I Can't Believe It's Yogurt" shop once resided and where the gruesome 1991 murders of four teenage girls took place. The case remains unsolved today.

Although unsolved, I think the killer passed away in Jail for other crimes...atleast I hope, and that was my conclusion last time I dove into this story.

      You think it’s one killer?

1 killer? No, this was a group or at least 2.

This case is crazy. I don’t think it gets covered enough.

I think I saw that same 48 Hours special you did. Such an awful, yet fascinating, case. I remember going to Google Maps to see the location as it existed today. Very cool getting to see your look at it in person. I totally understand your interest in going around back to see the doors, too. Let me ask you a question: was there a moment in your life you can look back on where your fascination with locations, be it filming locations or crime scene locations began? Where you knew you had to stand in the same spot?

That’s actually a good question and possible discussion topic for a Live here. It goes way back, I’ll say that. I couldn’t always get to these places I’d see on tv or in the movies but I would always envision “going THERE” to see where those events “actually” happened even though fictional. They weren’t really fictional in my mind as I kept that universe as real as possible if that makes sense. True stories are a different plane though, cause I know they really happened so standing in that spot where it took place hits harder in a different way. My mind literally transports as best as it can back to that time.

@@AdamWasHere That’s interesting. I’d check that Live out. I know for me it was being in Ford’s Theater on a 6th grade trip. Seeing the spot where Lincoln was shot, then being in the room where he later died was momentous. I can’t travel often, but mostly use Maps or videos like yours to live through. Your channel is great, and very appreciated. So thank you.

@@JasonKBnow that you mention it, an early memory for me could’ve been when I first visited Dealey Plaza. I’ve visited countless of times since and every time I drive down Elm St, I think of that moment as soon as I cross the X in the road. I’ve stood on those X’s, gone up to the depository window, etc so basically I’m saying I totally get it man.
And thank YOU Jason for saying that and following me along. It is greatly appreciated. I love doing this and I love sharing it with folks who can appreciate and find some joy in it. Thanks again. Now you got me thinking of some old footage from the depository, now museum I have that I didn’t do anything with 🤔
