The person i feel most sorry for in all of this horrific murder is the innocent young daughter Madison. Losing one parent is bad enough and two even worse and on top of that to find out that your own dad killed your own mum. Devastating! I`d like to know how the daughter who would be a young woman now turned out. Hope she is doing well and her Grand parents and Aunts and Uncles have taken good care of her.
A murder in Mississippi was just the reverse. The live in girlfriend and her parents killed their baby's /grandchilds daddy. See Justice for Kirby Carpenter.

Choking on tears ...as a mom ,who got out of an abusive relationship, years ago, stories like this only prove to me that wounds never heal..and knowing there are women who don't get to have a second chance at life, hurts even more..especially given that Shauna was a mother 😭 rip sweet girl ❤️ 💔 🙏

No, all crime hurts us all, whether shoplifting or murder. We need to abandon the entire idea of, "snitching." It's a childish strategy to protect the guilty, by degrading the reporting of crime to the status of the inconsequential.

A sudden change of personality, jealousy of his wife being the breadwinner & treating his wife badly. Yeah, I already knew he was the killer the moment you mentioned it. I will never understand why some people would prefer to murder/conspire to murder over working things out & supporting each other. It can go a long way without bringing permanent damage over a temporary problem.
I agree. I got divorced and had a nasty custody battle for our 3 year old and I lost. I had been a stay at home mom but I didn't have an attorney so I went through hell. I really understood the feeling of hate and I wanted to murder my ex, but I would not, could not do that to my son. Plus I could never kill anyone unless forced to because of self-defense. It's unbelievable that so called normal people can chose murder as a solution to their every day problems. People get divorced every day. It's a brutal process sometimes, but you don't murder your ex. For fucks sake!!!

I know it's probably silly to attribute normalcy of any kind to someone as monstrous as George, but what kind of a father takes his daughter with him to discover Mom's body? Disgusting pos. I'm so glad that Maddie has been helped to remember the good, and the fun, and the love that she and her mama shared.
In my country a stepmother paid $200 for two homeless to kill her 11 years old stepson (Bence Szita), because the father broke up with her. The boy was still alive when they buried him. 😕
The guy has a history mental issues! The main killer (husband) found an easy target to mulnipulate! Nonetheless he had a bit of sense to run from George but he didn't!
Her husband isn’t so good looking anymore. The monster who destroyed this beautiful woman is inhumane! How do you kill a beautiful stranger by beating the life out of her…all for money? George on the other hand is a monster for killing his child’s mother…and taking a beautiful life 😭
There's no true justice in a case like this, because no matter what a beautiful young woman was taken from her family and loved ones. I am glad that her killer got the maximum. Killing his wife was cruel, but taking his daughter to the crime scene knowing what had happened is evil. Such a sad case.
On the 911 call he says he needs to report a break in and murder- starting with the break-in which is suspicious enough. Later he talks about not touching "the body". This is his wife and he can't bring himself to mention her. Also, he brought his daughter alonģ to make himself look innocent because what father would let their daughter see their mother beaten to death? Well, I guess he is that father.

As a psychologist, Noel is a fascinating specimen to observe. You can see in his eyes he struggles to show empathy but he is matter of factly describing Shauna’s murder. He has no reason to lie. During his testimony at trial, he rarely, if at all, blinks. Common in people who experience delusional behavior. He is more believable in his testimony than George is during his police phone call. As far as George goes with wanting a psych evaluation, I believe this shows an underlying narcissistic behavior. Meaning, he 100% believes he can control the outcome of the evaluation results in his favor.
Maybe...to me he just looks strung out on drugs and not at all delusional, but actually very much cognizant of what he did and that he did it for the money.
I absolutely LOVE this channel and the sensitive way you cover these tragic cases. You have the perfect balance of photographs, video, trial coverage and narration. Kudos to another job well done 👍🏾 BTW - could you cover the Dan Markel murder? I would love your spin on this truly awful crime.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I like how the narration is even, straightfoward (as are the facts presented). I'm subscribed to a couple of different true crime channels. They each bring different perspectives and presentation styles but present each case in a straightfoward with the goal of honoring the victim. Truly Criminal does this so well. RIP Shauna - RIH George and "homeless man"
Stories like this usually get to me but for some reason this story REALLY got to me. Almost like I knew this woman. These men deserve whatever they have coming. I feel like the homeless man basically received benefits because now he has a home and free food.
*This type of crime is way too common, and a symptom of an underlying social problem that urgently needs to be addressed* We live in a sick, dysfunctional society where most people have no clue about basic relationship skills, boundaries, mental health or even what constitutes a healthy relationship. It's not enough to punish perpetrators after the fact - like treating Stage 4 cancer with a band aid. People wanting to marry should have to pass an exam (and a mental health assessment). Schools need to teach kids how to have healthy functional relationships, how to communicate assertively and how to recognise the warning signs of abuse, domestic violence and dysfunction.
Most? You need mental health treatment if this is your perception, it does happen way too often butnot to the extent I would put "most"..what if they pass the test and then have mental health issues later? Also people with other mental health issues don't deserve to be married? Who decides the test questions? Who decides what is and isn't a valid relationship, even immigration can't do this to the effect of just a questionnaire? School thing okay, maybe? You just teach the mental health people how to pass your new test but teaching how realtionships should be based on what? the teachers perception of healthy? all the rest is just dumb and ineffective, you know boyfriends and girlfriends murder too, as well as just people with no realtionship to the person, right?
It's so ridiculous that George belittled and humiliated Shauna when she started working as a cocktail waitress again, to keep them afloat - he didn't seem to mind when they met! But it is more likely that he always thought that way.
This channel's documentary was so much more better and meaningful than that of the I.D. channel! It killed me to view the last video of Shauna and Madison adoring each other with huge smiles.😔

I am so glad that justice was done. All those phone calls between them were very revealing. I also appreciate knowing that the family is healing and her little girl is happy and has good memories of her mom.
Nobody but NOBODY who finds a loved one lying on the floor in a puddle of blood is going to not check to see if they're alive... ESPECIALLY a firefighter... when he told the operator he hadn't checked for a pulse, that cinched it...!!!
Yeah, the first thing he said is that she was dead and it was a burgulary but then later said he didn’t check for a pulse? How would he know she was dead? Also he never said anything about them needing to hurry or needing help in the call which was suspicious to say the least
The sad thing is, that the homeless guy has probably a better life now that he's sentenced. Free medical care, free housing, 3 meals a day, free laundry, much more than he had outside living in a tent.

Every time I think I've seen the worst of humanity, someone comes along to show the depths of depravity humans are capable of. It's heartbreaking to see a beautiful young lady, a mother, lose her life because of a monster who could not accept losing control over her & their child. He rendered his own daughter an orphan, that's pure evil. RIP Shauna.

I find it fascinating that people choose murder over divorce
Like Chris Watts. . George and wife were separated but this satan he became jealous and insecure after he lost his job which is no reason to take anyone's life. I hate it when they blame their psychological problems to a murder
People who see a partner as a partner choose divorce, even if it’s painful or angering. People who see a partner as a possession choose murder, because they’re not going to let that object go, or let them humiliate them by leaving.
Actually, I am still in awe that a man can hate a woman so much, and a woman can hate a man so much.
They are sociopaths plain & simple!
Yeah? That’s s bizarre to me.

Yes indeed the daughter will have to live with this tragedy the rest of her life, so in a way she was given a life sentance too.
Me too it's horrendous , he knew she'd be without her mum for the rest of her life absolute monster😊

A murder in Mississippi was just the reverse. The live in girlfriend and her parents killed their baby's /grandchilds daddy. See Justice for Kirby Carpenter.
I think Madison will need a lot of counseling for her mom's murder and the fact that her dad was the killer.

$600 to take a mother’s life who did you no harm? Even if you’re desperate for cash, there’s no real excuse.
$5k+ to be paid later? $600 was only the first offer which was refused.

Absolutely! Even the army or forces wouldn't say it like that
Her husband isn’t so good looking anymore. The monster who destroyed this beautiful woman is inhumane! How do you kill a beautiful stranger by beating the life out of her…all for money? George on the other hand is a monster for killing his child’s mother…and taking a beautiful life 😭
Concurred. She was, indeed, remarkably beautiful. It is beyond Me, too - that one can do this to a beautiful Woman. Or an animal. The low IQ galore.
The testimony of the homeless guy was terrifying! So cold

It doesn't take a psychologist to figure this out

Agreed this is one story that struck with me she looked like such a light
*This type of crime is way too common, and a symptom of an underlying social problem that urgently needs to be addressed*
We live in a sick, dysfunctional society where most people have no clue about basic relationship skills, boundaries, mental health or even what constitutes a healthy relationship.
💥💥💯💯✊️
Omg, this!!!!
🙏🏻💯
