He was a great man, my granddaughter had cancer in 2015 she was 8 he built a place called Toby Keith's kids corral in Oklahoma City and my daughter and granddaughter stayed there almost a year while she fought cancer it a beautiful place didn't cost him anything they were fed there was a game room a movie room a backyard with swings I don't know what my daughter and son-in-law would have done if that place was not there for them to stay he was a great man and he will be missed

I remember I saw Toby Keith in Tampa fl. In the early days when he started into the business. RIP you are still in many people’s memories. The music lives on.
My husband also passed away 8/21/24 from the same stomach cancer. Diagnosed 10/26/23 stage 4. So, awful they find this cancer usually when has spread. I’d love to speak to Toby’s wife to hear about there journey with this very rare cancer since there so little people that have experienced this type of cancer. His Oncologist called this stomach cancer “ Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma Syndrome “ I’m miss my husband the love of my life so very much. I still feel I wanna see him walk through the door with his big smile that lit up the room.

I guess that's rare compared to population, but almost a million people doesn't seem rare.

That is my cousin singing!! What a surprise. As far as Toby being buried there I do know for a fact they closed that cemetery on the day he was buried. Knew someone they were burying there and could not have his funeral that day.

Another RUclipsr friend of mine just visited last week and he said that it is still not complete, as in no grave marker, however there are pictures up now and other memorabilia. The staff discreetly confirmed with him that this was indeed Toby’s resting place as well. His video should be up soon. I also plan to go back soon myself but I’d like to make sure it’s completed before I do so I can show the fully completed resting place.
He played a song that I was able to relate to, and the song hit home for me so much it is the one song that has a music video that I like, but I miss him so much because he was so patriotic and he never apologized for that and I will never apologize for being patriotic and I will miss him

The "footstone" many times, is a Military Honors Marker, placed at the foot of a grave. The "Headstone" on this one is a Companion Marker & yes, his Mom's info will be added after she passes. (Quite a weird feeling seeing your own Marker in a Cemetery......my husband & I have a Companion Marker, he's passed, I'm not yet. Even though I ordered our Marker.......the first time I saw it in place? Kinda weird 🤯! Sunset Memorial is where some of my grandparents were interred.
