Just bought the Crayon. I actually like it better than the Pencil. I couldn’t get used to the pressure sensitivity, too used to drawing with an actual pencil. Drawing with the pencil tilted is how I’m used to drawing.

The obvious recommendation for the Logitech would be for the iPad 10th generation as they won’t need a socket part to connect it to their iPad and can charge it with the same cable that came with their iPad.

I’ve recently gotten the iPad 10th generation and had to change my Apple Pencil 2nd generation as it doesn’t support it. Apple really dropped the bomb on that one. 2:21 I stopped there.
A pencil without pressure sensitivity is almost useless. Sure, some of you won’t ever use a stylus for drawing, but then why would you need a stylus instead of a keyboard ? Pressure sensitivity is worth paying twice.
I’d be more impressed if it had the same functionnalities for half the price.

If you actually draw…..buy the Apple Pencil that is recommended for your device!! The substitution pencils will not do what you need it to on procreate as it should as you advance you’ll learn it

The Logitech Crayon is the worst of the iPad compatible styluses in 2022, assuming you’re not a kid who can barely hold a pencil properly, which is who it was designed for.
There are numerous Apple Pencil alternatives which all cost less than $25USD, have the same shape as the Apple Pencil 2, attach magnetically, and feature long battery lives. Like the Crayon, they lack double tap to erase and pressure sensitivity, but have tilt sensitivity and palm rejection. Plus thanks to most of them having a USB C charging port, you can attach a standard pencil grip to them, which makes the writing experience much more comfortable.

@@TechToyTV I have one, trust me it works just like the Apple Pencil. My guy friend had an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and I admit the Apple Pencil feels a bit better in the hands, but the longitech stylus does the job. It uses the same technology as Apple Pencil. I recommend getting the longitech stylus. If you’re iPad still uses the 1st gen Apple Pencil.

If I’m spending $70 for a stylus I might as well spend $89 for the proprietary brand. Especially when it’s on sale for $89. Value is more than the dollar amount you spent on it.

Really? No pressure. Then it is useless. Apple has locked up the pressure feature to their pencil. As an artist...no pressure is no deal. The iPad already struggles to be relevant as an artist tool(operating system limitations...lacks full app support...file transfer limitations...) so this is a lost cause. Stick with the Apple pencil if you want to use the iPad with pencil support. No competitors...by design.
