I feel like it’s weird because it’s completely possible to build an efficient V8. Sure the hurricane is a cool motor by itself because it’s like a 2jz, but I feel like the dodge still needs the v8, even if it’s a hybrid for god sakes. You also can’t simulate ICE noise with speakers
I6 hurricane, twin turbo is the car he is talking about, hits the streets in 2025 - lithium ion models will come first it seems. 2 models. all electric, all gas....
Stellantis is playing the long game. High production volume V8s will die off soon due to regulations. Companies also like to save money by powertrain sharing across its brands & line-ups. People often fail to realize some sacrifices will need to be made or we get nothing at all. Just like GM killing the Camaro & might turn it into an electric SUV. Now that's even worse.

Good job on the vid! Very informative. However, hard to argue any benefits regarding weight. That thing is almost 6000 pounds! It will go through brake pads / tires like crazy if you’re taking it through turns. I’m excited for the six pack though. Hopefully it will be lighter than a Mustang.
