No problem homie! Yeah I’ve seen a lot of good things about Dr Chen take your time and think it over man schedule consults if you have to and get a feel for each surgeon if you need to. If there are any questions I can try and answer or help point you in the right direction lemme know!
Love the video. Very informative and helpful. Just had a quick question regarding her website and with what you said (looking into all options before scheduling a consultation). On her website, it states that ureteral lengthening is not available for abdominal phallo however you spoke as if it was an option to get during the initial surgery. Is this correct or is it only an option as a secondary procedure?

So she asked me if I wanted urethral lengthening but once I said no that was kind of it from my understanding though she does offer UL if you do MLD not with abdominal but you could always seek another surgeon to perform UL which is why she mentioned it would be difficult in the future

It’s definitely relevant no worries! So it depends on the type of procedure. If you want to get metoidioplasty which uses your bottom growth you would want to get some growth. (They will usually have you pump or something else to help out with that) for phalloplasty it’s not required to have a lot of growth for because they’re harvesting another piece of your flesh for your phalloplasty. They still may have you do pumping or in my case rubbing some Testosterone gel onto my growth for the next 2 months to maximize size.
If you get your ovaries out along with the hysterectomy you will often have menopause symptoms and have no natural hormones to fall back on if anything happens in the future and you have to go off T temporarily or permanantly.
I’m aware of that I’m on the fence about keeping one ovary for that very reason but I have a consult coming up soon for the hysterectomy/oophorectomy so that I can ask some more detailed questions and make sure I have all the information i need to make that final decision I’m still leaning towards completely removing everything though I’ll make a video about that once I have the consult

I have just seen a handful of vids of trans guys who have not really understood the full impact of ovary removal on their health and been shocked/regretful afterwards when they included that in hysterectomy without due consideration of their options.. I hope all works out the best for you!

This might not be totally on the topic but do you need to have bottom growth to get phallo
