Hi Laura. I think the idea of knocking the kitchen through to the snug is an excellent idea. You could then turn the dining room into a snug/playroom and both would open up into the garden. There's a lot to be said for having one open plan room and other closed off rooms. It would be less expensive and probably quicker and hopefully less stress!x

It's so nice of you to take us along on your anniversary, thank you. This is a good recipe for a Moscow Mule: 1 ½ fluid ounces vodka, 1/2 oz lime juice, ice cubes, 1/2 cu ginger beer and lime wedge for garnish. Enjoy!!!!

Please if you can, apart from checking iron levels ask for the ferritin too. It's super important and the ideal level would be 70 to 90 (I have 9, after previous miscarriage and despite taking iron regularly). Take care! X

For the virgin Moscow mule (and full vodka version) using ginger ale and loads of lime or lemon juice, it is yummy! Must use regular finger ale and not dry. Happy anniversary to you both x

A true Moscow mike is served in a copper mug, and I think it makes a difference in the taste. This was a fun vlog.
I truly think the best Moscow mules rely heavily on the quality of the ginger beer. It’s best when it has a real BITE I think. The best one I’ve had in the states was in Seattle at Rachel’s Ginger Beer. Yum.

Moscow Mule is Vodka, Ginger Beer and wedge of Lime, squeezed. Yummy! The best ginger beer used to be Schweppes but haven't been able to find it for years. Idris is too sickly sweet. Don't use any substitutes 😄🥂🍸🍸

I recently had a Dry London Mule at The Ivy and have been meaning to recreate it at home. It was sooo good. It says they use Seedlip Garden 108, Bottlegreen Lemongrass & Ginger Cordial & Fever-Tree Mexican Lime & Yuzu Soda. Just got to figure out the ratios!

When my sister's first pregnancy resulted in miscarriage, she said that at least it proves that she and her husband were a viable reproductive combination. That they would not have that frustrating diagnosis of "Unexplained Infertility" where each individual is fine, but they can not combine to form a pregnancy. My sister and her husband went on to have two wonderful daughters, one now an Anesthetist, the other did a Masters at Oxford in maths, and, even better, both have each recently provided my sister with a Grandchild. 🙂
9:04 is the nail polish like fully hard and dry after the last 2 minutes under the lamp? That’s the reason why I don’t do my nails often, because the polish just takes so long to dry and it can smudge easily, so this might actually be a really good product for me if they’re properly dry and hard at the end

Pausing early on to comment on the Acupuncture part. I was injured pretty bad at my job, and I still suffer from chronic pain because of it and all the surgeries. Annnyway, one of my Dr’s recommended Acupuncture for pain management bc I don’t like to take a lot of medications. So, I gave it a try and it was fantastic! I went there thinking not much would come from it. And I was shocked by my 3rd treatment I started noticing a big difference. But it wasn’t just physical, it was definitely mental as well.
You’re right, they want to know you and the things you’re going through bc it helps them develop a better treatment plan. Acupuncturist are very different than most convention Dr’s because they want to help you without the use of medication. They want your body to help itself. So it is kinda like therapy on some levels.
If you find a really good Acupuncturist it can be life changing on many levels. I don’t really understand how or why, I just know if helped me in ways I never thought possible.
So I’m glad you are giving this a try. Keep going if your financially able. That’s the only issue here in America. Many times insurance won’t cover it or they will only cover minimal visits. So it can get very expensive 😩

Kinda disappointed, I ended up buying that manicure kit using your code and after 24h already two nails were chipped and then the company was like “because its a natural formulation it’s more fragile” despite the 10 day claim. How do you make it last?
