Great show. Miss it dearly...
Update: I beat a copyright infringement claim Viacom put on this. Feels good.
Check out the DVD collection on Amazon here: www.amazon.com/...
It was nice when Sam was explaining his own story in Season 1.
But yeah, this narrator's voice is something special. It's as though she's the lost lover who knows what has happened to him and is dutifully waiting for Sam to return to her arms, while understanding the reason he can't
The Time Traveller's wife. ;)
Dude, that's Ziggy the hybrid super computer.
It's the voice of Deborah Pratt, one of the producers or maybe even Executive Producers of the show. I can't remember if she's actually the voice of Ziggy but I think she was married to Donald Belisario, who was the big guy for all these great action adventure shows in the 1980s and 90s.
Who doesn't like quantum leap its brilliant
"the best intro" and "show opening" to a tv show ever. the season four intro to quantum leap is awesome and epic and will always be my favorite one.
I love watching reruns of Quantum Leap its grown on me
this was my favorite cliffhanger of this show. I had no freaking idea what the hell was going on. speculation ran rampant all summer long. thanks for sharing & bringing back such great memories.
I waiting a long summer to see what would happen in the season premiere.
I first saw this in syndication. I only had to wait a weekend and it seemed like forever.
I love Deborah Pratt’s prologue for the final seasons of the show. I think she’s one of the major producers of the show aside from being an accomplished actor in her own right.
she was also married to donald belasario at the time
@@emmamelaney5216 Yeah I should've known that really.
Deborah Pratt also had a hand in Airwolf also produced by Bellisario
@tnawcwvictoria that was my show.
Best premiere of the show ever!! Loved it that he was able to go home to the present.
Agreed. it's just too bad sam only got to spend 24 hours with his new bride donna he was only home for 24 hours barely a day which is messed up. he should have gotten to spend more time with his wife and been there for three or four days at least. this is a very good episode though you're right "best season premiere ever."
This seemed to go on forever, but I see it was only four years.
Shows how your perception of time changes as you get older...
Those Accelerator Vapors are Warm, Soothing, Comforting, Beautiful, Luxurious, and Soft... So Incredibly Soft.
And very orgasmic. *Leaps*
the best part of each episode is when he looks into the mirror and you see the other persons reflection in the mirror and they do the mirror shots. i also like when they do the hologram stuff in each episode and Al walks though the walls that's good too.
A timeless show.
1:50
Sam and Al: Oh, boy!
That Quantum Leap Accelerator is Beyond Beautiful!!
Plus me and Sam are husbands now
I love this show! I watched this a kid growing up. Best memories of my childhood. Wish I could get those days back.
That Quantum Leap Accelerator is one Heck of a Cool Time Machine.
Hell yeah. Activate Auto leap Ziggy.
I'm watching all of the seasons of Quantum Leap in 2020 bringing back such happy memories of when I used to watch the show with my mum when it was shown on BBC2. Our favourite character was Al always loved him for his slight innuendo and light heartedness and warmth made you love the character more. For us the show wasn't really about Sam it was about Al. There were some really good storylines in QL I have a couple of favourites when he leapt into a woman for the first time and he had to save his room mates life by stopping her from falling to her death from the edge of her building. See Sam in drag was amusing. But Al's was the funniest of them all. When Sam leapt to into the blind Pianist I really liked to the dog. There are so many episodes I really enjoyed like when the little girl could see Al because she was still an innocent like girl I thought was so special. There were also a few episodes I had forgotten about I am being reminded about while watching QL again. And Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell work really well together you can tell that they really respected one another while making this show.
I started watching this show with my grandma in Elementary school. XD
Though they were all re-runs to her, it was an epic new show to me. o.o
Now I'm 17 and wish they would bring it back! I LOVE OLD SHOWS LIKE THESE!
They were kind hearted.... wow... you arent 17 anymore :-D
I remember watching this one! XD LOL Was SOOO hilarious, what with Al and Sam switching places and all! XD
Christopher Althouse i love how sam got als lecterious part of his brain lol.....well if a pound of butter is all it takes i got myself a dairy farm....lol
Christopher Althouse i like how after they switched places after the lightning strike in the mental institution their masons and nurons mixed and part of him was al sam got his lecherous side that disrespected women and al got sam's choir boy side that respected women.
Christopher Althouse I enjoyed this episode so much that I wished it had lasted longer!
@Cory Nance That added to the fun too because I bet Scott loved getting to finally get out of the boy scout role which i imagine could be boring for an actor at times, while Dean got to be the hero\lead guy for a change,
@@kendallrivers1119 when sam leaps at the end of each episode is the best part because he always turned blue and tingled with electrical energy.
great episode
and so Dr Beckett find himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong....
epic narration
My favourite episode of Quantum Leap.
P Ferreira agreed it's my favorite episode too sam actually gets to go home a little while.
My dad and I used to watch this all the time, this episode is by far my favourite
Used to watch it with my Mom. She passed away in 2016. Not before we watched the episode The Leap Home again with tears in our eyes.
@@titusmccarthy aw I’m so sorry to hear that she passed away
I don't really remember this show.. but I know I've seen it.. it's like my brain is Swiss cheesed from the last leap
That's funny
Bummer
You're supposed to watch the entire show from start to finish in order to leap home!
I first saw this on the SYFY channel. I watched one episode and I was hooked.
Same exact thing with me! My first episode was the one where Sam was a single mom with Troian Bellsario as the youngest child. I was hooked from there.
MMMMMMMMMMM... I Am So in Love with the Quantum Leap Accelerator! ❤️❤️❤️
Ziggy is our time goddess
I always loved the intro monolgue... You picked the perfect episode teaser too, i have yet to watch this one where they switch places
Shock theatre is my fave episode. Along with killin time in season 5 and the 1st episode of season 4. The evil leaper triligy was another good set of episodes
"best season premiere and time travel show ever."
My favorite show all time!
I Love that Quantum Leap Accelerator!
*watches Aaron ladner quantum leap*
Repairs the retrieval program
Done. *Kissing sam under ziggy*
IT GIVES ME THE CHILLS EVERY TIME ⏲️ I WATCH THIS TV SHOW QUATUM LEAP.
its a shame he doesn't remember his wife at the end of the episode
This was one of my all-time favorite shows, and this was my favorite episode of that show!
Love this show
Quite possibly the best ending to an episode of quantum leap ever. And the best episode.
531 Leapers Stepped into the Beautiful Quantum Leap Accelerator, and Were Comforted by the Warm, Soothing Vapors.
And they all praised Ziggy for the leaps.
They All Yell "Power to the Quantum Leap Accelerator"
Ziggy: *sets herself to auto leap*
Boy, how I miss this show... I loved to watch the chemistry between Scott and Dean, loved the plots the (eventual) weird stories.
Oh my god, I remember this episode! When Al and Sam change places.
wow, I grew up with this show because my dad watched it back in the '80's
I had no idea anyone else watched it :P
i like how al is like wipeing a tear of his face then its like nope not crying
Link Zelda lol right always trying to be tough
this episode was so EPIC.
Ahh this show was awesome, wish I could be Sam Beckett, I mean just be in his situation, it would take some work but I would put the world right.
I'd Rather be Al
Oh boy...this was the first show I watch religiously every week!
I'm glad this version had the original theme.
It was season 4 only season 5 had the new theme, except the final episode mirror image it had the original intro.
@@tammymartinez7488 the last episode quantum leap season five episode 22 mirror image august 8 1953 was also the only episode where sam looked in the mirror and saw his own reflection in the mirror that's when he realized he leaped into himself. in the future in the year 1999 when there's no one in the waiting room at project quantum leap sam's colleages at project quantum leap realize sam had no choice but to leap into himself.
Saw this episode today on syfy. Just as good as I remember
A great episode, where both got to feel what it was like to be the other 🤗🤗🤗
so on nbc 32 years ago today on sunday march 26 1989 was the debut of quantum leap on nbc. happy 30th anniversary everyone "oh boy."👍🏻
Wonderful! I remember watching the third-season ending cliffhanger and the fourth-season opener! Oh, boy!
This chick's voice always gets a laugh out of me.
And so Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
i love this show so much..i miss seeing the reruns of it on sci-fi...WILL SOMEONE BRING THESE RERUNS BACK!!!!
Well, the last episode was originally written as a season finale, but NBC pulled the plug at the last minute. They added the text at the end to finish the series.
To This Day, I'm Still in Love with the Quantum Leap Accelerator.
Me too.
Ziggy: the acceptor is ready Dr. Ladner
I Summon Quantum Leap Power!!
Ziggy: *fires her accelerator beam at you*
Keep Firing, Ziggy! That Feels Good!
Me and my mum love this show love ending of the show it was amazing
I literally remember when this aired and it blew my 10 yr old mind.
This show was so inspirational I think back to it in my current journey. I'm currently trying to overcome complete paralysis and I'm having to live with my family in Houston I separated from a long time ago. As I'm getting better I'm now on a walker and at the same time repairing lost times and moments with my family. I look back at this show and think I'm righting the wrong and hoping my next step is the step home in SA....literally!!! It's been a journey.
I'm glad you enjoy a show that was before your time. It's never too late to enjoy the classics!
I remember watching this trailer first time it was on TV. I remember it from the end of season 3, I was only a kid and I nearly screamed. But then a voice came over the end saying "quantum leap will be back next year." and I screamed "No!!!! You can't just leave it like that.
They started this in England and we all loved it. I knew he wouldnt go back at the end tho. For those of you thinking 'i didnt know' Its your fault for not living. Good post my man :)
Cindy Crawford: COME, MY AARON... COME STEP INTO MY QUANTUM LEAP ACCELERATOR, AND I WILL GIVE YOU FABULOUS POWERS!
Have fun in there. Auto leap activated. *Lays my hand on the blue prism*
Cindy: FEEL THOSE SOFT VAPORS, MY AARON... AS THEY MAKE YOUR SKIN SMOOTH AND SILKY

Will be the leap home! (tear)
And it never... ever was. :(
I was hooked on this show when I was little.
0:01, Knowing that Love is the Strongest Power in the Universe, Dr. Aaron Ladner and Dr. Cindy Crawford Stepped into the Quantum Leap Accelerator, Wrapped their Arms Around Each Other, Closed their Eyes, and Kissed
The Accelerator's Soothing Vapors Produce a Silky Smooth ASMR Humming Sound.

My favorite Show of all Time Can't Wait to get The Collectors Box.
He was able to go home to the present in this episode, then he left again, but at least he was able to go home for awhile.
If you like time travel and space shows I recommend Doctor Who! Great series! :)
"Well, if a pound of butter is all it takes I got a dairy farm that'll..." LMAO! One of the greatest lines in tv history! Loved this episode and getting to see Al be the leaper and Sam getting to finally be back home and discovering that he had a wife all that time. This one, Shock Theater, Nuclear Family, Killin Time, MIA and season 3 premiere where Sam was himself as a teenager are some of my favorite episodes.
this show was amazing! got them all on dvd :D
YOUUUUU...I HAVE not even thought about this in so long....
I always remembered the part about stepped into the quantuam whatamacallit and vanished lololol.
This was cool
ahhh back when "Wendesday nights" on nbc were awesome and epic. quantum leap on Wednesdays on nbc back then were fricking "epic as hell" screw homework and bedtime's that just ruins everything. no way in hell i was going to miss this epic show as a kid i remember back then i only saw like 98 or 99.9% percent of the the episodes back then and i missed a couple of them because I was forced to go to bed because i had a eight o'clock bedtime and the "damn" show came on at eight o'clock but now i've seen ever episode of quantum leap thanks to the miller creek dvd collection at Walmart. the season four intro will always be the best and quantum leap is the greatest sci fi show and time travel tv show of all time. who doesn't like quantum leap it's brilliant this is the greatest thing donald p bellisario has ever created donald p bellisario is a genius gimme a like if you agree. (cue theme song) "oh boy."!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Damn right
A true classic man! I remember killing this show and The Incredible Hulk on Sci-fi all the time in middle school and high school. Now as an adult I still appreciate what great series they were. Bill Bixby\Lou Ferrigno and Scott Bakula\Dean Stockwell will ALWAYS be the ones and onlys of their series.
Good memories
they should really think about re-doing this series....i mean it''s truly timeless...they can do so much cause so much happens every decade...shit, he could even jump back into 9/11 or even before that.
g
Thanks for sharing I loved watching this as a teenager!
I was so into Time Travelling.....
;o)
OH BOY...THAT was a great series.
I bought the entire collection of this from amazon six months ago, I have watched it 3 times already (I know I have too much free time), thankfuly my mrs also loves cool late 80s early 90s tv shows !
Quantum Leap Rules ! ! !
i remember there was this one episode of quantum leap called "last dance before an excution" "may 12 1971" it was the fourth to last episode of season three. sam leaped into the body of a Mexican/latino man named Jesus Ortega who was about to get the electric chair for killing a priest. after sam leaped in they stopped the excution and postponed it for two days because they found evidence ortega might be innocent. Sam yelled at Al for not being there when he first leaped in saying where were you i was in the electric chair and Al goes Sam it's not always easy for us to find you you're not lost in the "mall" you're lost in time. well al's not wrong he does have a point and something else you have to realize too is that even if al had been there when Sam had first "leaped in" he wouldn't be able to do anything to help him anyway him being a "hologram" and all and not being able to touch anything.
The new series on Peacock is okay so far.
As a kid I loved this show
0:01, Cindy Crawford: COME, MY AARON... COME STEP INTO MY BEAUTIFUL QUANTUM LEAP ACCELERATOR... AND I WILL GIVE YOU FABULOUS POWERS!
the best tv show ever ! greetings from Romania !
I miss this show too, sad ending that i remember watching pity sam ended up leaping again after making it home. It was awesome I used to watch it every evening though
Great episode, great series!
0:05, SILK PERFECTION!
I luv the intro to this awesome 80s series! the music in the background is quite touching, Tv series just arnt like this anymore. Knight Rider, Mork n Mindy, A-Team and this, those were real tv shows that had a particular feel to them. I dont know, maybe its me getting older.
Part of me wants to believe that they could bring this show back as is (cast willing, of course) and it would be a hit. Damn, I miss this show...
Yes it's one of my favorite ep's but my favorite will always be the devil/Steven King one lol
this is one of the best ep.
This should've gone on at least another two seasons.
mytreker agreed why cancel it at season five we could have gotten a season six or seven.
Oh boy is right
I absolutely loved this series!!!!!
OH BOY!
ZANDER BRAIN CINEMAS There was one time I was watching with my mother. It was at the beginning of an episode when Sam says “Oh boy.” I said it before he did and my mother asked how I knew he was going to say that. I said, “He always says that.”
*Zander leaps*
I used to love Quantum Leap I used to watch it all the time I was saddened when it came to an end. My favourite character was Al he always made me laugh well I like Sam aswell but Al was better.
This was history class during my high school.
I used to love this show wish they would repeat this show on tv
