- This a fantastic video showing the stages of baby growth from 5 to 9 weeks and also in 3d. It is annotated so can be used for learning by medical professionals. Please like the videos and subscribe to our channel we will have many more educational videos coming.
For any women watching this and worried about their ultrasound results, I just want to share my story. I knew *exactly* when I had gotten pregnant. I tracked my cycle and it was never off, so I just knew. I waited a while to go get an ultrasound and got my first one at 12 weeks. The tech asked me several times if I was certain when my last period was, so I began to be concerned. Apparently my baby was measuring at only 7 weeks, but I knew I wasn't wrong about the date. I worried that I would lose my baby, and left it up to God. It can be very scary when you're pregnant, because you never really know what's going on inside of you. They gave me an estimated due date based on my cycle tracking, which was on February 9th. My next ultrasound at 24-ish weeks looked good. Baby was still a bit small for 24 weeks, but looked great. I began to be less worried. As long as baby was consistently growing, I hoped all would be well. My baby was breach on that ultrasound, so my doctor wanted me to get another ultrasound at 39 weeks to see if I could deliver vaginally. I went in for that ultrasound appointment and baby was still breach...but I also found out that she was huge! They predicted her weight to be 9lbs 11oz! I was shocked, because this was the baby that was measuring small throughout my entire pregnancy. She certainly caught up quickly! I ended up having to have a c-section because she never turned, so my daughter came into the world at 40 1/2 weeks. She was 9lbs, 2oz and 21 inches long. She is now a beautiful almost 4-year-old who enjoys singing, playing with barbie dolls, and cooking with mommy. She was off the charts for weight and height when she was born and still is. I am so so grateful that everything was OK with my pregnancy and that I have my beautiful daughter. To any expectant mothers reading this: try to just relax! Don't worry like I did about everything and enjoy all the little moments

I lost my baby just because of a stupid doctor. She said baby is not growing properly. N she gave me medicine to abort my pregnancy. After 2 days of pain when another doctor scanned .she was shocked n said baby is growing properly n can be seen clearly. But due to medicine my baby lost heartbeat . I m in much pain n mentally trauma will kill me soon 😭😭😭😭😭
I remember when I got pregnant & was watching these videos. Now my baby is laying on my lap. Just chilling on a lovely Friday.
+Jaymee Xiong How many weeks till you detect a heartbeat? My friend went in at 6 weeks for vaginal ultrasound, there was no heart beat.

+Jule Westcott I think the doctor probably couldn't find the heartbeat. I would suggest your friend go see a different doctor. If still can detect a heartbeat then go get a ultrasound done asap so check.
+Jaymee Xiong Let me tell you where this is the Philippines. Their medical equipment is from the 70s. She also had the ultra sound. I saw on one site it says the baby has a heart beat from 8-10 weeks. I am worried for my friends wife. I will tell her to go to another DR. Thanks
I just had 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back as positive. Two were with the regular 2 strips kit and one was digital test which stated "pregnant". We are happy, grateful and anxious. I pray all expectant mothers have healthy babies. And may God bless those who are working on getting pregnant.

Stay positive mrs my moms first child had died but I am the second one and I turned out to be healthy there are many chances my name is named after that incident called Abhay means brave in Nepali because my parents lost their first child and were scared but with me they got hope and now I also have a healthy little brother but I am still sad about my unlucky elder sister who died in the womb but anyways mrs you hope for a healthy baby stay positive stay healthy

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and my baby just looked like a little bean. Had another at 9 weeks today (my mom has same OBGYN, wanted me to come for moral support and she offered a quick ultrasound for peace of mind) I cannot believe how fast this baby grew in just two weeks! It actually looks like a little person now! Baby was doing little exercises for me and gave me a good side profile view. I’m so happy

@@nydelinne9920 congrats! It’s totally understandable to be nervous, I was too. Pregnancy and parenthood can be a bit daunting but it’s truly amazing. My daughter is a bit over a week old now and I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world. The love between a parent and child is like no other ❤️

I'm 5 weeks pregnant, 27Y/O first baby. ❤ I found out I was pregnant April 25 after taking a pregnancy test the week before and it came out negative.
My 1st ultrasound will be May 16, 2018, my baby is due Dec 25-28 2018. I'm both excited and anxious, I don't know what I am going to become with a blessing like this. Being adopted at birth and put back in the system, bounced around from foster home to foster home, I been happily out on my own after graduation for 8 years, I didn't expect a baby, but after all these years of feeling alone and unloved, besides my heavenly Father who loves me dearly, I get to have someone to love me back!
I was in the same boat, i took a test it was negative the next week i was late and it came back positive.

You don't count how many weeks you are from your ovulation day. It's determined by the first day of your last period to current day.
You would be 7 weeks, not 5 as you shouldn't count from ovulation day

I am 5 weeks pregnant, and had my first ultrasound 3 days ago, we saw the little yolk sac and everything was the right size, and in the right place, i have another ultrasound set up for 2 weeks, i cant wait because we should be able to see the heartbeat by then, if all i well, which i pray it is! When I was blessed with the news of my pregnancy I started to view all the related views and imagined the growth process of my little angel. Now he is doing all chatter patter all day long. He is 3 year old now. First preganancy is really a different feeling.

When I went for my 5 1/2 week check up I was only able to see a little black dot in the sac but then I went in for my 8 week check up nd you could see my baby's legs nd little arms stretching out you could even see his eyes nd hear his or her heart beat. I think everyone should be patient ur baby is there everyone's baby's grow at different rates so dog be worried :)
8 weeks next week can't wait to see the Ultrasound they did a Viability check for me at 6 weeks so small couldn't see but had heartbeat

I know how you feel. My gf is 12 weeks now. She accuses me of being an overly protective dad already lol. I smiled like an idiot when I saw and heard my babies heartbeat. My gf says I havent't smiled like that in years. Its amazing how how something so small can change your life. I love my baby and I still have months before I can meet him or her.

I just found out that I am pregnant again after a misscariage last month. I don't even know if its possible because I haven't got my menstruation yet. But here we are, a miracle! Already 5 weeks! Hopefully it is a healthy pregnancy! Can't wait to see my baby.
