    Good honest review! Yes… seems kind of pricey for what you actually get. Thanks for sharing the build!!

    I don’t know much about engines,but this is pretty impressive and it is interesting to see the engine work.Can’t wait to see more odd things apart from normal kits!

      Thanks! I get quite a few offers from various companies - I normally run a poll on my Community tab before I accept, since I don't want to take stuff that won't interest people. And I get some *strange* offers (car battery charge testers, anyone?!)

    Model making is becoming very interesting with the 3D printing , (pricing scale and variety). Odd the Chineese would show the world a model of their engine. If I win the lottery I could afford it but would probably go with the 1/6 cockpit model of ME 109. Main advantage of model is no painting. Ironically regarding translations, Tamyia recently called the crew and pilots of their kits " dolls" in the catalogs.Very enjoyable video just have to watch the RPM and running running time.

      There's definitely a lot of really interesting 3D printed stuff available from small companies

    Excellent work.
    Its an impressive kit.
    They could hsve made your life easier by separately bagging all the teeny tiny screws pins..etc..oops, just heard you mention this very point.
    I agree about the price point.

    • @ModelNerd
      @ModelNerd  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, it's a funny one. Not terrible...but the kit isn't as premium as the price would suggest.

    Not a bad kit heavy about the missing screws though.

      Yes - they did send them, but I noticed in other reviews that other items were missing

    It looks really cool and would be a really good conversation starter on display. But man, That price is too rich for my liking

      I agree - and this is their cheapest kit!

    Can you please make other types of aircraft like prop Airlines or military transports and air to air refuelling

      I might consider it, but to be honest I do prefer military subjects :)

    You should be able to buy those grub screws easily on-line. It is interesting but to be honest at that price its not that impressive. It sounds a bit noisy and doesn't appear to have a nice stand. I presume it just rests on the top of the battery box.

    • @ModelNerd
      @ModelNerd  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, I agree - premium price but not premium kit. Yes, it just rests on the battery compartment.

    Not a bad kit over all Stu, but it's a bit pricey (Said the man that paid $899-00 AUD for a kit)😁 but that's neither here nor there, nice review, if they want to send you more free kit's, all good do a build and an honest review.

      I'm inclined to agree - I could buy a lot of plastic kit for the same price.

    Looks interesting 🤔sort of, go down to your local hardware store and buy some grub screws. They come in a packet with different sizes. Then you can complete your model. Of course it's vexing not having everything 🙄 still it looks interesting but sounds awful 😕.

      The company sent some spares - but it is worrying that several reviewers have all had different parts missing.

    I am not impressed. Looks cheaply made and the electrical motor is loud plus it pulsates! Perhaps in a few years when this engine has been perfected better I will get one.
