Having built the larger RB211 and Trent family turbofan engines for 31 years and now retired this brought back memories nice looking model , pity you cannot install a sound module of the real engines
Man, you lived my dream career! Hoping to start an aero degree at Sheffield this September, can only hope that I get the opportunities like you had haha. Anyway, yeah it's a lovely little model! Would have definitely been nice to have a bit of sound to conceal the motor noise. Have a good one mate, cheers!
I hate to say it, but if it were for physical looks and demonstration, the materials could have been of better quality for the motor- or at least use a stepper motor.
I hope you enjoy this little detour from the usual video!
beatiful teaching tool for all kids
certainly is an interesting model!
For sure!
My experince is with the GE J79, T58, and the F404 from my military career. Pratt/Whitney engines from the civilian side. Great looking model!!!
Fantastic engines! Thanks mate!
Nice model! I only have experience with the CFM 56 having flown the Boeing 737-800 and now the Airbus A320 CEO :)
It's pretty cool! CFM-56 is a lovely engine, and the a320 is a wonderful aircraft to pair with it - one of my favourites, flying it must be awesome!
Omg, modelling weekly actually started modelling each week
Great video, even tho i like combustion engines better...
I know right it's mad! Thanks, yeah combustion engines are very cool 👍
Thanks for the post, very interesting model.
It's a pretty cool kit! Thanks mate, and my pleasure
It would be great if EngineDIY could comment on your 2 minor criticisms, re the obstructive tab and the motor noise.
I definitely agree! I've forwarded my review to them, so just a matter of time to see what they respond with. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Your now big enough to be sent free stuff, congrats 👏
Did some stuff for BenQ a couple of years back but yeah this is pretty cool stuff :) Thanks
Love this! 👏🏻
Thanks mate!
Funny how the HP stage is turning slower than the LP and Fan - should be the other way around
IF I WANT TO ORDER 4 OF THOSE ENGINES
OR DEPENDING THE THRUST OF POWER

Definitely agree with this
£197 seems way to much considering the quality and finish of the components. Shame.
Very valid points 👍
@@ModellingWeekly thanks for showing anyway so we don't waste our money 👍
